Summary: Mike Myer's 007 Valentine
Review: Granted, this is not intelligent, thought-provoking filmmaking. It is merely a lovingly detailed leap to 1960's version of Hollywood spy movies. Mike Myers is dead on in his interpretation of the sixties male creature. Just want to have fun, baby! All the cliche's we 007 fans so dearly love are trashed by Austin Powers in scene after scene. No, it is not a clever film. But, boy did I laugh. Nice to see it coming out in widescreen.

Summary: This movie is GROOVY!

Summary: This is more than a funny movie; it's actually a bit deep.
Review: The dialogue between Austin and Dr. Evil about whether or not freedom failed is actually quite thought-provoking. I appreciated the tame depiction of currrent-day promiscuity being countered by a mature and responsible approach to sex by Agent Kensington. This is a movie that high school students find hilarious, and when viewed together with peers and a faculty member, it can be quite educational.

Summary: Gem of a DVD for Austin Powers favs
Review: This is a gem of a DVD -- especially for established fans of the movie. The commentary track with Mike Myers and Jay Roach is very entertaining -- and very insightful about the making of the movie. And its easy to see why most of the deleted scenes ended up on the cutting room floor, but the scene with Robert Wagner and the briefcase should have been left in -- its hilarious!!

Summary: Fun! Enjoyable! Brilliant!
Review: This movie is one of the best movies i have ever seen in my entire life. It was amazingly funny and easy to watch. Liz Hurley's spectacular body just added to the brilliance of the movie.

Summary: Ah shagged 'er rahtten, baby!
Review: To those of you who said that this movie was stupid: Are you the same people who say that movies like "Night of the Lepus" and "Home Flies" and "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" are potential Emmy winners? If so, then I'm sorry, guys, you should stop watching movies all together or you're in for a lot of big disappointments. Of COURSE a lot of the humor is childish! It is AIMED toward that age group! No S**T, SHERLOCK, how did you NOT figure that out??

Summary: where are the funny parts?
Review: After seeing the 5 star reviews by other viewers here, I was prepared to laugh like never before. Boy, was I disapointed!!! Maybe this movie would have been funny if I was 10 years younger but this kind of comedy I've already seen a million times (i.e.,Air Plane, Naked Gun). I suggest saving your money and time by watching something more entertaining.

Summary: This is a preemprtive "shh". THIS IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!
Review: The lines are the best. Although the average person may think this movie to be somewhat silly, it is those of who enjoy a good spoof that will take it for what it is meant to be, FUNNY!! Mike Myers is great in this and So I Married an Ax Murderer. I highly recommend both.
