Summary: Best Comedy of the Summer
Review: I was lucky enough to catch a sneek Saturday night. Totally hilarious!! I could not stop laughing during some of the scenes. I can't recommend this comedy enough if you are in the mood for laughing.

Summary: Warning: You may die laughing!!!
Review: "Rat Race" is better than the trailer. Haven't seen anything this funny since "Its a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World." Not a remake, but similar plot to race for millions of dollars. I don't want to go into details and spoil the laughs, but Jon Lovitz, "Mr. Bean" and the other cast provide scenes that will be memorable. (Can't wait to see the outakes on DVD.) I couldn't stop laughing. After several minutes of uncontrollable, side-splitting laughing, my six year old son was saying: You can stop laughing now, it's not funny anymore! Great family flick, except for one brief partial mardi gras type scene, and some language. Plot jumps around, and some scenes are unbelievable, but who cares?.... I couldn't stop laughing. Unless, you were born without a sense of comedy, you'll definitely want to see this on the big-screen more than once. Oh, by the way, those of you who don't go to see it, watch out for those driving home after seeing it! I was still laughing so hard, I almost got in a wreck.

Summary: A Rollercoaster of Laughs
Review: 'Rat Race' is a zany little comedy with many big name stars, and jokes that are sometimes good, sometimes just o.k. For the most part, it is a pretty funny film, and there is probably something that most people will find adequately comedic about it.

The movie starts out in a Las Vegas hotel/casino. Whilst playing the slot machines, 8 people find a coin which directs them to a secret meeting with the hotel/casion owner. He informs them that some 500 miles away, in Silver City, New Mexico, is a train station. Inside that station is a locker, and inside that locker is $2,000,000. They are all given a key, and told to "go" - whoever gets there first winning the money. The race is on, and the hotel/casino owner is keeping a watchful eye on them, as he is also taking bets as to who the winner will be. Each of the people who are in the race take different modes of transport to get to the desired location. This makes for the bulk, and the most hilarious portion, of the film. Along the way, there are jokes and running gags to do with Nazis, Lucille Ball impersonators, a crazy squirrel merchant, and more. Much of the humor is accessible and makes you laugh, or at least chuckle. Some of the humor, however, is rather crude. I still found it funny, but be warned: If you are disdainful of certain jokes whose basis lies in bodily functions, human organ dis-respect, abuse of animals, or anything along those lines - then this is *not* the movie for you. All of the aforementioned jokes, though they sound bad, are actually handled well (as well as can be expected), but they *do* make up a substantial portion of the film.

Many of the talents used in 'Rat Race' include Whoopi Goldberg, John Cleese, Rowan Atkinson (re-using many aspects of his Mr. Bean persona), Cuba Gooding, Jr., Breckin Meyer, Seth Green, and a plethora of others. There are a few surprises, and the movie takes a lot of unexpected, very funny turns.

This is a screwball comedy which simply wants to make you laugh for a couple of hours. It is fluff, but fluff in the best possible sense. Quite enjoyable. I left the cinema with a smile on my face.

Summary: Laugh out loud fun
Review: Somewhere in the US is a bag filled with 2 million dollars, 6 teams were chosen at random to compete in a race, and whoever reach the destination first will win the money. Now these contestants must be willing to do anything to outwit each other, as they speed towards the cash prize waiting at the finish line.

The Rat Race is a mindless and quirky comedy, it has a lot of great moments that will keep you laughing all the way through, although I found the ending to be a bit of a let down. The characters are portrayed by some of the funniest actors and actresses of Hollywood, such as Whoopi Goldberg, John Lovitz, Cuba Gooding Jr., Seth Green, John Cleese and even Mr. Bean Rowan Atkinson. Each of them bring something special to the screen, making the experience enjoyable while keeping the momentum going.

Overall the Rat Race is a decent film although somewhat forgettable, I'd recommend seeing the matinee and save a few dollars, but be sure to check this out, it should be a great time for anybody that enjoys a good comedy.

I can only tell you one thing: do not chew gum or candy while watching this movie, or you may choke on it. That's how funny this movie is!

Summary: Very funny,...
Review: ...Without saying anything specific, the movie was very funny, and I, like all of the other members of the test audience, was laughing from the start to the end.

The jokes are a nice mix of the various themes available, ranging from gross-out to very laid-back gags, to running jokes, to grand spectacles that get set up in one scene and paid off a half an hour later. There's definitely something to please everyone here, even if you only laugh at one joke...

Summary: What the Heck?
Review: This was the oddest, wierdest, strangest, dumbest, movie in the world! I LOVED (...) It was really stupied some of the things that happened like one of the guys found a bus full of I Love Lucy impersinators to that whole "Squirrel thing." But it's an awesome, hilarious movie and I loved it.

Summary: "You Should Have Bought A Squirrel!"
Review: Rat Race reminds me very much of the Cannonball Run movies of the early Eighties.
Though not a masterpiece, it is a funny film, guaranteed to provide more than a just a few laughs.
Rowan Atkinson, John Cleese, and the rest of the cast have truly outdone themselves with their performances, which are outstanding to say the least! All the actors, without exceptions, give it their 100% and it really shows (the chemistry is AMAZING)!
The setting, the dialogues, the humor, and the music are all wonderful!
Overall, it is a movie definitely worth watching, and even though quite silly at times, it will surely put you in a good mood!
