Summary: A poor man's Cannonball Run
Review: If i directed this unfunny comedy which did'nt even solicit a grin from me,i would have distanced myself from the production and listed my name as Alan Smithee.Evey comedic cliche known is utilized.The situations and setup are contrived,and the acting is some of the worst of 2001.Everyone's timing is completely off and they all seem like they did'nt want to be there in the first place(i think some agents are going to be getting pink slips).All the talent in this production is squandered.Atkinson was truly embarrasing,Knight was a non entity,Green who is overrated to begin with is cynical,smug,and annoying,Cleese adds nothing but nostalgia for MPython,Bates was unnecesary,C Gooding did what he could but it was'nt nearly enough,and Lovitz gets himself into fantastical situations that even in the context of this film are unbelievable.Nothing works in what can be considered an inferior wannabe Cannonball Run with only a fraction of the talent that was involved in that film.Do yourself a favor,and rent or buy CR instead,you'll see how it's done,because you'll be cursing the heavens if you purchase this abomination.The positive reviews have to be coming from people involved in some way with the production,because i can't see how anyone enjoyed this even remotely,unless you're very young,but even then it will insult your intelligence.Check out Lat sau wui cheung(Help)to see how comedy should be done.

Summary: Top 10 comedy in my book
Review: This movie was surprisingly funny. It was recommended to me by a friend, I kicked and screamed the whole way to the theater thinking it would be just another far out, slap stick, juvenile comedy...when in fact I thought it was wonderful!!!! Yes, it may be all the things I listed above, but who cares if it makes you laugh! I also want to comend the writers for this movie.....yes a movie can be funny without profanity every 2 minutes. This has to be in the top 5 of my favorite movies of all times list!!!

Summary: Not one of the funniest movies I've seen....
Review: Only because it wasn't one of my first choices. There is such a thing as too many comedians spoil the movie. For one thing, I felt that the comedy scenes where somewhat forced. If anyone made their daughter use the side window as a toilet with only a towel to cover her lower back, they should have their head examined thoroughly and then sent to jail for endangering a child. Realistically, no one would be able to survive the G-forces without oxygen, being pulled in that military airplane when Whoopi Goldberg's poorly dressed character and her daughter took off in it. I did manage a chuckle when Cuba Gooding's character found out the leader of a bus full of "I Love Lucy" immitators was a cross-dresser. His deep voice almost made Gooding crash the bus. I did not care for Kathy Bates's character, sending those people down the wrong path because they didn't buy anything from her road side stand. Rowan Atkinson's narcaleptic character wasn't all that funny either. His falling asleep at the wrong time really got on my nerve as did his snoring.I like the payback the team gave John Cleese's character, making him match the total on the board at the telethon and giving the prize money away. It serves him right for making them run across country for a $2 billion jackpot stuffed in a locker.

Summary: The Best Bit was the END
Review: All of the participants in this nonsense are capable of making me split my sides, but none of them did in this movie. By far the best bit was the ending. Unless your brain has been pierced with a tongue stud, you will get much more satisfaction by giving your $$ to a worthy charity, than by spending it on this!
By the way although I live in Singapore, I originated from elsewhere, so don't blame Singaporeans for lacking a sense of humour if you disagree with my comments.

Review: This movie is very very good.It can be viewed by most ages, i suggest 11 and up could see this.It is very funny and includes a great cast.The cast includes Seth Green,Vince Vileuf,Lanai Chapman,Dean Cain,John Cleese,Breckin Meyer,Jon Lovits, and oscar winners Whoopi Goldberg,Cuba Gooding Jr.,and Kathy Bates. The movie is rated PG-13 for Language,Sexual References,Crude Humor, and Partial Nudity.The nudity is not very explict so dont worry about younger children.Go see this movie!!!

Review: good zany screwball film. This film was mad funny. I saw it in theaters and enjoyed it. I like the appearance of Wayne Knight from Seinfeld. His appearance turns out to be the funniest in the whole movie.

Summary: Not as good as it could have been
Review: I admit I was expecting a bit too much from this movie. So many famous actors, and the name 'Zucker' attached to it! I was expecting another 'Naked Gun', but although the humour was weird, there was no surreal humour or great one-liners that made previous Zucker movies so enjoyable. Much of the humour was sight gags, which I usually don't like, but much of it did work just because it was so unpredictable (at least for me). I can hardly imagine a lot of the jokes being very funny the second time around, when you know what's coming, but they were certainly entertaining the first time - I won't give anything away, but the 'squirrels' and 'Hitler' jokes were really funny. Sadly, some badly placed gross-out jokes (are they ever well placed?) kinda put a bit of a damper on the humour, and I was disappointed with the ending. I was hoping for a classic movie and didn't get one, but it was worth the money I spent. If you try and forget that it's a Zucker film, then it should be okay.

Summary: Side Splitting Comedy!!
Review: I laughed through the entire movie, so much that my throat and stomach hurt when I finished! I don't think I went thirty seconds without laughing. Very much slapstick and in your face humor. May just be one of the funniest laugh out loud movies in years!
