Summary: This movie is much better than the VHS version!
Review: This movie rocks... I mean this movie REALLY rocks!! With ten extra scenes not included in the VHS version, you can't really complain. Definitely worth paying a few extra bucks for. When I saw the VHS version, I thought it was great. After seeing the special edition DVD I was left speechless. Ghostbusters really is the funniest movie ever made and any fan must own a copy of this version!

Summary: A great flick
Review: "Ghostbusters" is the story of a group of paranormal whacko investigators who become NYC's main ghosthunting team. Full of hilarious quips, cool ghosts and great chemistry between Ramis, Aykroyd and Murray (who steals the show). Rick Moranis is funny as the nerdy neighbor and William Atherton's unctuous Walter Peck is a good villain. Some classic moments, don't miss it! (This edition apparently has ten added scenes, I wonder what they are. Worth it.)

Summary: This is one of my all-time favorite movies!!!
Review: I first saw this movie when I was just a child, now here I am fifteen years later, I have gone through three copies of the VHS releases of Ghostbusters, and who knows how many viewings... This movie not only has a great story and supurb special effects, but it pokes fun at our society at every turn. Ghostbusters is a fun movie to watch over and over again, because each time you watch it, you'll get more from it. If you haven't seen it yet, give it a shot... I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Summary: Stay-Puft is a god
Review: I'm not much for movies and the latest crazes, but ever since I was a small child, I have been absolutely obsessed with this film. I'm Catholic, but when I saw "The Exorcist" for the first time last year, I laughed the whole way through. Want to know why? "Ghostbusters" is a complete spoof of that horror flick! Absolutely brilliant, my hat is off to Harold Ramis and Dan Akroyd for creating such a brilliant piece of Americana. PS-- If any of you happens to have an old 1959 Chevy ambulance, send it my way-- I'm dying to have an Ecto-1 of my own!

Summary: A truly great film comedy...
Review: I have seen this film so many times that it's like an old friend. My favorite moment isn't a comedic one, but instead is an effectively touching one; Venkman turning to Ray as they prepare to battle Gozer, fire and destruction all around, the only sound that of the flames: "See you on the other side, Ray." Awesome; for once a movie smart-aleck who ISN'T a coward. Why doesn't Columbia...re-release this (in letterbox)?
