Summary: Top 5 Fantasy-Comedy films. Laugh a minute flick.
Review: What can I say? Top five quotable quote film. Bill Muray and Dan Ackroyd are at the top of their game. Goofy, witty, funny, downright hillarious. A good time and fun for everyone. "Where do these stairs go? They go up." If you can't use that in your vague reference conversations then nothing can help you.

If you have any sense of humor at all and/or any sense of imagination or wonder this movie is for you.

Summary: A classic comedy/sci-fi even better on DVD!
Review: "Ghostbusters" was one of my favorite 1980s films, and the DVD version is fantastic! The "featurettes" and outtakes are very interesting (they should have left a couple of those outtakes in!), the special effects are great in frame-by-frame mode, and widescreen is (as usual) the best viewing mode. So why only 4 stars? The DVD doesn't include Ray Parker Jr.'s great video of the theme song.

Summary: The best special edition DVD ever!
Review: Sony has pushed the edge of the DVD technology envelope again with its special edition release of "Ghostbusters". Anyone who owns a DVD player MUST rush out and purchase this disc. Why buy "Enemy of the State" from Buena Vista with its non-anamorphic transfer and paltry extras when "Ghostbusters" has EVERYTHING that could possibly be fit onto a single-sided disc, including a beautiful wide-screen transfer of this now-classic film? Want your money's worth? How about a bunch of deleted scenes? Want more? O.K., here are two featurettes. Not satisfied yet? Alright. You get production notes that can be accessed as you watch the film and extensive DVD-Rom content. Top it off with a full-length commentary by the associate producer, director, and one of the stars, Harold Ramis (who also co-wrote the script). Even better, the trio of commentators can be seen (or not -- your choice) in shadow at the bottom of the screen ala "Mystery Science Theatre 3000" as they comment on the film. It's an ingenious use of DVD's multi-angle capabilities. And you get all this at a price less than that of the bare bones DVDs being put out right now by Disney and Fox. A classic movie on a full-featured DVD. Simply put, this is a MUST-HAVE!!!

Summary: One of the best movies, and DVD's ever
Review: Ghosbusters is one of my favorite movies of all time. I remember as a kid always wanting to rent it every time i saw it in the video store.

I watched the cartoon, and had the action figures. I was so happy when I saw this for DVD. I bought it, and I can only say one thing, WOW!

The extras on this DVD are unbelievable. It would take hours and hours to fully utilize all it's features. This is movie is one of the reasons I wanted a DVD player.

Too bad GHOSTBUSTERS 2 on DVD doesn't have any extra features.

Summary: One of the greatest movies of all time
Review: When I first heard that they were re-releasing Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II on video and DVD, I didn't know what to think. Ghostbusters is one of the first movies I remember seeing. I probably saw every episode of Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters. I hope that since they are re-releasing the movies on video, they will also re-release the sound tracks, and release the orchestral sound tracks. Thank you for your time.

Summary: I told you I'd be back...
Review: Well, I reviewed the movie as a whole a few months ago, and now I'm back after having seen the DVD. Now, this was a movie I could ALREADY watch over and over again (altogether, I have seen it at least 200 times in my entire life); now, with all the extra features, the number of WAYS I can watch it has increased exponentially. Without a doubt the best comedy of all time (no matter how many times I hear the cleaning lady ask, "What the hell are you DOIN'?" I laugh every time), with so many incredibly memorable lines, this one will live on throughout time--and in watching it, I got all nostalgic and prepped for GB3. The main menu is easy to control and the 3-D is just awesome. But don't take my word for it. Buy the DVD. It's worth it.

Summary: Impressive...
Review: This DVD impressed me with how much you can fit on a one sided DVD. There are a ton of cool features, I like the Directors on screen comentary and the story bord compare modes. And This is the first "respectable" movie DVD i've seen with multi-angle support (before and after soecial effects). Buy it here! It's $25 at Best buy! My only complaint is the lack of full screen format. They could have put it on the other side, wide screen is good, but sometimes you want to watch the non-wide version...

Summary: Ghostbusters: A Classic
Review: I love this movie!!! It is so much fun...it is always great to watch. I just got the DVD and it is great....the trailers, the widescreen, the three featurettes, the before & after special effects scenes. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Sigourney Weaver, Ernie Hudson, and Rick Moranis are all great. It is so funny...and so FUN to watch. This is one of the greatest movies ever and something that everyone can enjoy. Ghostbusters 2 is great too and I can't wait to get that DVD in the mail...also, I kind of hope they don't make a third film and lessen the greatness of "Ghostbusters" films....GHOSTBUSTERS rules!

Summary: This is the greatest DVD version of the greatest movie EVER!
Review: This DVD has the coolest features I've seen yet on a DVD, and the video and audio quality make it a great viewing experience. The real kicker, however, is the widescreen format. I am seeing so much more of the movie, although the new footage is useless, that I would watch this movie hundreds of times. However, I'd watch it hundreds of times anyway, but the widescreen format makes it more worth it. The 3D menues in the movie a really cool, as well. That's about it, not much of an ender, but my opinions have been expressed in full.
