Rating: Summary: Superb Photography Review: I don't care what critics or anyone else has to say, this is a great movie! The photography is superb throughout the movie as is the music. Selma Hayek is wonderful and Matthew Perry is, as always, fabulous to watch. He's one of my all-time favorite actors. It was also so cool to see Matthew's real life dad play his on-screen father as well-nice touch!
Rating: Summary: I love this movie! Review: I love fools rush in it's a cute love story. Matthew perry was so great in that movie he is a good actor and he is sooooooooooooooo cute.
Rating: Summary: Where, oh where is the music? Review: No, this movie is no cerebral stumper, but who really cares? It's fun with great music, so just enjoy it for what it's worth. I've been searching all over for the music, but just cannot find it. Maybe the music-powers-that-be will see what we want and give it to us. Enjoy!
Rating: Summary: Where's the Music!!! Review: I too have been searching and searching for the rhythm-filled soundtrack to this great movie and cannot find it!!! Someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Great Review: The movie is a very heart warming movie and tells a tale of two hopeless lovers who find each other by pure accident and found out that they were meant to be for eachother.
Rating: Summary: Sour and mope. Review: If the role of the 'gringo' portrayed by Matthew Perry is typical of the U.S. male, apologizes to U.S. female. This young actor seems as "Forest Gum" in all his scenes. Even his mouth is open as a fool every time someone speaks to him. Nevertheless, Salma is fabulous as the Mexican girl. She acts naturally and with convincing dialogues. This could be better with another young actor; even a beginner could make a good role. This could be better with another young actor; even a beginner could make a good role. Some questions arrive. How a mature girl can be so immature (or immoral) to be pregnant with a guy she meets after hours. Is this the practice in Latin girls? Where are the anticonceptives? How does she protect from HIV, STD, and other diseases? This film is a bad example for the youngsters. I do not find it any positive in terms of culture clashes it pretends to portrait neither.
Rating: Summary: Very Sweet Review: I don't normally go for "chick flicks", but Fools was romantic without being overly mushy. It is sure to endure as a classic romantic comedy.P.S. I LOVED the salsa and have been looking for the soundtrack forever!
Rating: Summary: Predictable but well done anyway Review: Matthew Perry impregnates a beautiful Spanish girl during a one night stand. Time passes, she shows up again, afraid her father will kill her. To avoid this, they get married. Obviously the question is whether they will fall in love for real, and obviously they split up, and obviously there's a happy ending. They get these plots out of Cracker Jack boxes. Even though the movie is so obvious that it is an insult to your intelligence, I give it a thumbs up. If we gave thumbs down to every movie that insults your intelligence by being predictable, what would be left? I guess this is plot number 4. They have them all down. The writers should be punished for their lack of originality and creativity. But plot number 4 is handled well. I like the omens Perry sees. I like the happy ending. Most of all, I like the Spanish girl.
