Summary: Oh Go on, you know you want to...
Review: Doug Liman follows up Swingers with a very funny and well-written movie, with a fresh-faced cast. The story is enjoyably unpredictable, going back and forth in time, yet this is never confusing - quite the opposite, as you happily know that when something rather unexpected happens it will be explained later in the film. Katie Holmes is as appealing as ever, and the pairing of Jay Mohr and Scott Wolfe creates a very amusing partnership. The star is William Fichtner, who creates one of the oddest characters that I have seen for some time, as you can never quite work him out - but Desmond Askew is very annoying with his horrible 'cockerney' accent. Some of the lines are very sharp, and it's nice to know that not all American teenagers spend their time worying about who's going to take them to the prom. The extras on the DVD are extensive, with a wealth of very interesting deleted scenes (when there are two pages of them, you know that you're onto a good thing) - including a very funny improvisation. The commentary is interesting if you can bear the two rather dull voices on it, and there's a nice selection of music videos. The trailer's suitably eclectic, mixing all types of music to the mad goings-on that are on the screen, and only the featurette is disappointing, being a short and useless 'press-kit' promo with nothing of substance. Altogether, a very nice package - Go and buy it. Sorry...

Summary: A surprisingly good movie
Review: I thought that I was in for another corny teeny-bopper, who's popular/who's not, WB Network alumni fame making feature, type of movie. I must say that I was pleasently surprised! It was Pulp Fiction clashed with Clueless. I love it when movies are paced like chapters in a book. It keeps you watching! I agree with the other reviewers when they say that the Simon story was the weak link in this movie, but I loved the comic relief from Simon's friends during the trip! The other two stories went together hand and hand brilliantly and I was at the edge of my seat. There were no boring moments. Anybody who is tired of the Jennifer Love Hewitt, the Freddie Prinze, or the Sarah Michelle Geller shallow flicks, I recommend this one for you.

Summary: EXCELLENT MOVIE
Review: THIS MOVIE WAS VERY GOOD BUT WAS KIND OF REPETITIVE. THE SAME SCENES WERE REPEATED A FEW TIMES BUT OTHER THAN THAT IS WAS GOOD.

Summary: Not that good.
Review: Go wasn't a very good movie at all. While not completely poor or terrible, it just wasn't that interesting or engaging. I still hadn't figured out the plot after an hour about. The plot (if there really was one) was not coherent. The acting was okay in this film, but Go just wasn't that good. Try something else.

Summary: Style on a disc
Review: 'Go' very nearly has it all. It is the most successful blend I have ever seen of action and comedy, whisked along by a perfectly stylish soundtrack.

In a manner borrowed from Pulp Fiction, the film covers the same few days' events from three points of view. Each of these segments oozes style. The first, a drug deal gone hilariously wrong, sets a frenetic pace. The second, the ultimate night on the tiles, is my favourite and with drinking, gambling, lap-dancing, gunfights and a car chase to remember, that should't come as much of a surprise. The third sequence is truly bizarre, but also very funny, wrapping up the film in style.

The pace never lets up, leaving so little time to think that the comedy still surprises me every time I see it. 'Go' - An hilarious film with moments of pure genius.

The only thing lacking, it seems, is a plot in the 'classic' sense. Lucky, then, that it boasts a script, cast, direction and soundtrack so good you don't even notice. And that is what makes 'Go' a true triumph of filmmaking.

Summary: A wild ride
Review: If you're looking for one of those movies that just grabs you in and never lets go, using shameless entertainment and audacious humour to hold your interest, then "Go" is the utlimate ride. It's sort of like "Pulp Fiction" minus the extreme violence, and unfortunately, minus the hard impact. The film's intertwining stories are still cleverly laid out, and there are tiny gags that you will catch if you watch it more than once. The whole thing is created with such energy, and is loaded with trippy moments, including a look into a guy's drug-induced hallucination in a supermarket. It's pretty difficult to predict what's going to happen next, even if the events are a bit implausible, although the film does start to lost momentum towards the end. The entire array of actors deliver excellent performances, especially Sarah Polley, who is totally under-rated. "Go" may not be a perfect film, but it's still a lot of fun to watch.

Summary: Great movie
Review: How can you go wrong with something like this. It's a great movie but it doesn't really stay with you. It's a one time movie. You use it once(or twice or three times)and throw it aside. Not that Pulp fiction was better but it's just the way these movies are.

Summary: Confusing....until the end!
Review: This movie reminded me somewhat or URn Lola, Run and Wild THings, the sort of choppy thing contributing to the thought of Run Lola, Run, and the synopsis at the end reminding me of Wild THings. I really liked GO, and enjoyed watching it over and over again, it's one of those movies in which you notice something different every time you watch it. Katie Holmes, Sarah Polley, Scott Wolf, and Jay Mohr (one of my fav. actors ever) star in this stimulating movie. Not bad, see it!

Summary: GO pleasantly surprised me!
Review: Go is very much like "pulp fiction",but in a good way.It is very fast-paced and i have always loved movies that go with different people's point of views and this movie did a brilliant job doing just that.I especially liked scott wolf and jay mohr's characters (even though personally i liked the second story the best)But every story was a treat to watch and i absolutely love the way that they all connect towards the end. Some people refer to this as a black comedy but to me this is just a plain comedy. And if you like this movie i recommend "swingers"(by the same director).Either way there is no way you can be disappointed by this movie.(and as an extra treat,on dvd,you can see it in wide screen or full screen and it also includes 14 extra scenes.)

Summary: GO - And buy this DVD!
Review: I am always skeptical when I hear the phrase "Thenext..." when describing a movie. So, when I heard "Thenext 'Pulp Fiction'" to describe "Go," my first thoughts were "Yeah right." While aspects of the story are like PF, this movie is all its own. You will have to watch this movie over and over to appreciate everything that it has going for it. It is very funny, sometimes shocking, and, best of all, the movie ride of 1999. Better still, the DVD is great. You get a near perfection widescreen picture of the movie (along with the full frame version). And, this is a special edition -YEAH! The deleted scenes are the best part. The commentary is imformative and interesting. The videos include "Steal My Sunshine" from Len. Overall, this is one of the best DVD's of 1999. If you like GenX movies that are smart, funny, and interesting, I suggest you GO right now and buy or rent "Go"!
