Summary: Most Triumphant
Review: This is one of the greatest films of all times. I love this film, and actually own two copies of it, just in case something should happen to one of them. Whenever any one decides to watch a movie, I will always recommend watching this movie. This is the type of movie you can watch over and over again and never get tired of. The acting is great, with Alex Winter playing Bill S. Preston Esquire and Keanu Reeves playing Ted Theodore Logan. The way that they can portray these kids is amazing, and probably harder than any one might think. Their California, west coast accents are perfect.
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure is a comedy about two clueless, metal head high school kids. This comedy is based on their simple confusion and many crazy events. The jokes are simple but hilarious, such as being asked who Caesar is by their History teacher and responding a "Salad Dressing Dude." The movie is safe for all ages to watch, with no crude language or violence.
The Plot revolves around Bill and Ted trying to get an A+ on there history final. Ted's father threatens him saying he will send him to an Alaskan military school if he fails this class. If the two colleagues are separated, their band (Wyld Stallyns) will never be formed. For some reason far in the future the Wyld Stallyn music is the center for all life. It somehow solves all of the problems in the world. It aligns the planets and brings peace between all beings, from extraterrestrials all the way to common household pets.
This brings the story to some of the most creative ideas ever. The leaders of in the future, to keep Bill and Ted form separating, send help in the form of Rufus, played by George Carlin. If that is not odd enough, his mode of transportation is a phone booth. Using modern technology, from the future, this phone booth is equipped with the ability for time travel. The phone booth travels through the circuits of time, and the concept of how the booth works. They use a phone book to locate a phone number to take them to any point in time.
The sound track for this movie is excellent. It is mostly 80's rock music. It is perfect for this movie. The songs or selected for each scenes perfectly. Some of the songs include Robbie Robb's song In Time and Power Tool's song Two Heads Are Better Than One.
This scenery in this film is very good. Where in most low budget movies, scenery is lacking, this film does not. The boys are taken to many different places in time, and in all these places the detailing of all the scenery is excellent. Even in the shortest scenes the area is very believable.
In the end there is almost nothing that I can say bad about this movie. I hope that every one takes the time at least one time to watch it. After your watch it once you will realize that you will probably watch it more like five hundred times. So save yourself a rental fee for Blockbuster and just buy it. You will b very happy with what you get. In the words of Bill and Ted "Be excellent to each other and party on dudes!"

Summary: NOTHING SPECIAL. IT'S JUST HARD NOT TO LAUGH AT
Review: TWO HIGH SCHOOLERS [ALEX WINTER AND A YOUNG KEANU REEVES] GO BACK IN TIME TO BRING SOME HISTORIC PEOPLE TO MODERN TIMES WITH THEM FOR A HISTORY PROJECT. NOTHING REALLY SPECIAL ABOUT IT, I JUST LOVE TO LAUGH AT THE JOKES. I DEFINITELY THINK THIS IS A GOOD TEEN COMEDY FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKE THOSE KIND OF MOVIES. IT'S WORTH OWNING. FOLLOWED BY BILL & TED'S BOGUS JOURNEY.

Summary: This Movie Totally Rocks!
Review: Definitely the most excellent soundtrack ever to be put to film, and one of precisely two movie soundtracks I truly enjoy all the way through. (the other is Top Gun - I'm an 80's child.) Awesome tunes, dude.

As another reviewer stated, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure *is* profound in a wierd way - not only is it fun, but watching it at least once a year aligns the planets in my head and maintains some semblance of balance and harmony. The movie is just far enough removed from reality to make it easy to quit thinking and enjoy the ride, yet never crosses into utter stupidity - maybe that's why it works so well.

Lots of great one-liners and comic vignettes that stick in your mind - 'Dude, it's your MOM!'... 'I'll GET you, you medieval d*ckweed!!!'... 'Strange things are afoot at the Circle K!'... Napolean pushing kids aside for another ride at Waterloo...

It's just too much fun. You have to have this one.

Summary: Profound in a weird way
Review: On one level, this is one of the silliest movies of all time. The humor is juvenile, and the teenage protagonists *seem* almost completely vacant-minded, their only goal to to start a great rock band, despite their complete inability to play their instruments. They end up on the most hilarious journey through time imaginable, with their 1990's San Dimas, CA sensibilities encountering such historic figures as "So-krates," "Joan of Arc," and Sigmund "Frood," all of whom end up wreaking havoc in a So. Calif. shopping mall. Bill and Ted are endearingly mindless, driven by hormones, and Ted remains Keanu Reeves's best role. The film has some of the funniest one-liners you'll want to add to your collection of quotations suitable to many daily occasions, and somehow there's a sweetness, innocence, and weird profundity to the whole adventure. It's also a multigenerational classic. I'm in my 40's, and my teenage children have been fans since elementary school as well and remain so. It's one of those films that whenever I mention it in a college classroom instantly elicits nods, smiles, and complicit laughs.

Summary: FUNNIEST MOVIE MADE IN THE 1980'S
Review: I LOVE THESE CRAZY GUYS, THEIR (PIPED IN) AIR GUITARS AND THE FUTURISTIC RELIGION THEY UNWITTINGLY ESTABLISH AS A RESULT OF THE MUSIC OF THEIR (VERY UNTALENTED) BAND-- THE WYLD STALLYNS!!! IT REALLY DOESN'T GET ANY FUNNIER THAN THIS!

UNDER PRESSURE OF FAILING HISTORY CLASS, AND HAVING TO ATTEND A MILITARY ACADEMY, BILL AND TED RUN HEADLONG INTO A GUARDIAN ANGEL FROM THE FUTURE, WHILE HANGING OUT AT THE LOCAL CIRCLE K, TRYING TO DECIDE HOW TO PASS THEIR CLASS. FROM THERE, THEY GO ON A MISSION IN A TIME-TRAVELING TELEPHONE BOOTH, WHICH TAKES THEM ALL THROUGH AN AMAZING VARIETY OF "HISTORICAL" TIMES AND PLACES, MEETING UP WITH SOME AWESOME "MEDIEVAL BABES" ALONG THE WAY. (THE "HISTORICAL BABES" END UP BECOMING THE NEXT TWO MEMBERS OF THE BAND WYLD STALLYNS IN THE END!!! HAHAHHA)

ON THEIR EXCELLENT ADVENTURE, THEY PICK UP NAPOLEAN, JOAN OF ARC, SOCRATES (THEY PRONOUCE IT "SO-KRATES"), BEETHOVEN, BILLY THE KID AND A FEW OTHER HILARIOUSLY UNSTUNNED HISTORICAL FIGURES, ALL OF WHOM TAKE THE JOURNEY AS THOUGH IT WAS NOTHING TOO OUT OF THE ORDINARY. (THIS, IN ITSELF, IS FUNNY!)

I WON'T GIVE AWAY THE ENDING, WHICH IS VERY FUN AND MAKES FOR A GREAT SHOW FOR BILL AND TED'S FELLOW-STUDENTS AND TEACHERS, WITH ALL OF THE HISTORICAL CHARACTERS ACTING OUT THEIR PARTS IN AN
"A-WINNING" SCHOOL PRESENTATION. BUT THE REAL FUNNY PART IS THE ADVENTURE ITSELF!!!

GOTTA SEEE THIS ONE!!!
