Summary: Definitely good
Review: I think this movie's sweet backplots are what make it more original than other angel movies. Definitely not a classic, but worth buying.

Summary: Relax and Enjoy
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed John Travolta as a less than perfect Angel. He is believable as something that is not believable. Andie MacDowell is brilliant and charming. William Hurt is classic William Hurt. You don't need to be religious to enjoy this adventure. A very under rated film!

Summary: This movie STINKS!!!!
Review: I was on the edge of my seat watching this movie...then I fell over asleep! Let me tell you something, there is absolutely, positively, definitely, NO POINT to this dumb movie. If it wasn't for the Don Henley song, this would be totally useless! How I long for the Vinnie Barbarino days after seeing Travolta embarrass himself in MICHAEL. How about a sequel, MICHAEL II: THIS TIME THERE'S A POINT!

Summary: It deserves more than 5 stars!!!
Review: I was reading over some of the comments for this movie... I seriously can't figure out why people seemed to dislike it! It enjoyed this movie very much..and I love it even more everytime I watch it! I never, ever get tired of seeing it. It's definitely one of my favorite movies of all time... there should be more movies like this!!

Review: I,ve watched this movie over and over again and each time I notice something I hadn't before. I find it extremely entertaining and uplifting. And what about the music! Is it great or what! So so very good.

Summary: An all-time favorite....
Review: It makes you laugh, it makes you cry (if you're a softy), and you'll never smell sweetness the same way again. It's my favorite movie.

Summary: He's an angel, not a Saint!!!
Review: It says it all! This is a good movie and it's fun to watch, but don't expect the comedy of the year. I think Travolta played a very funny angel who comes to spend a little vacation on earth. This is a quiet little movie. Not really realistic, but it's a fun, touching little movie and i'd say, worth to have in a collection!

Summary: Does the dog get saved?
Review: John Travolta is an angel sent to Earth to give William Hurt a heart, to make him fall in love with Andie McDowell. Why should that be so hard? The happy ending would dictate that Hurt falls in love with her, and if the script tells him to I'm sure he will. Hooray. Many of the scenes in this movie are pointless and rambling. The plot is so weak that it wasn't revealed til the end. What the movie was really about, as far as I could tell, was an angel bringing a dog back to life and attracting girls.
