Summary: Oscar is a great family movie
Review: Our family loves this movie. Every single person in the movie hams their part up to the hilt. We watch it at least once a year and it is still funny. I hope they release it again.

Summary: Stallone should have gone into comedy!
Review: Honestly, Stallone is a very good comedic actor. His appecance on SNL and this movie are perfect examples. The rest of the cast is also hillarious. My only regret is that it is no longer for sale. I suggest to anyone who see this movie for sale, to buy it right away.

Summary: A masterpiece!
Review: This is a great comedy. Sylvester Stallone displays a surprising talent for comedy as a prohibition-era gangster trying to go straight. This adaptation of the original french farce keeps the idea of the original but has been added to in order to make it more suitable as a movie. The script-writers have done a great job and a talented cast makes the most of it. Why some people disparage this movie, or Stallone's performance is something which I will never understand. Watch out for excellent performances by Chaz Palmenteri, Marisa Tomei, Tim Curry and many others.

Summary: A Wonderful Variety of Great Talents
Review: This film had me laughing each of the 4 times that I saw it. Stalone and Curry are excellent masters of the comedy. I can hardly wait for the re-release so that I can purchase it for my collection - it is definetly a MUST HAVE!

Summary: The only GREAT work Stalone has been in!
Review: This was based off a farce for stage. It's charming and hilarious. Lots of switches and chaos along with an outstanding supporting cast make this a fun film to watch for anyone with theatrical taste. It will keep you laughing even if only to see Stalone in constant misery. Seriously, it's hilarity at it's finest. Many personalities have snuck into this one, including Tim Curry, who carries a large portion of the laughs in a way only he can. Buy it, it's one of my favorites.

Summary: My All Time Favorite Comedy Movie
Review: I laugh everytime I watch this movie. I've even popped it in to chase away the blues before. This film seems to be an adaptation of a stage play, yet Landis did a terrific job! It is very well cast. Stallone is perfect. Marisa Tomei is fabulous. Chaz Palminterri gives one of the funniest roles I've ever seen. You will roll on the floor laughing during the "disarming of Germany". I've watched this movie more times than Star Wars and I'll probably watch it many more times. I'm still trying to figure out the whole bag thing. :)

Summary: Extremely Funny
Review: This movie was extremely funny from the beginning to the end. Sylvester Stallone gave an outstanding performance. It was good to see that Stallone has another side to his acting career. Stallone has proven that he is not just a macho action film star. He has shown the whole world that he is a very versatile actor. This movie is a must see.
