Summary: A Very Good Movie
Review: I thought this movie was very good. It had a nice storyline to it. I thought that Sean Hayes and Nathan Lane were very funny. Although I would have liked to see more of the movie done in L.A. This movie is for people 12 and up. Kids younger wont really appreciate it or understand. Even though it appears to be a "chick flick" A lot of the men in theaters seemed to enjoy it.

Review: This is a cute, fun movie. The characters are perfect, and there are many hilarious parts. I loved the little details that made the movie perfect. two parts are not good, but overall it's a five star. enjoy!

Summary: Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!
Review: When Rosalee wins a date with her favorite actor, Tad Hamilton, her secret admirer and long-time friend Pete is not too thrilled. When Tad pursues her back to West Virginia, Pete is even less thrilled. Tad quickly realizes that he is not the only one who is after Rosalee's affections, and thus a battle of sorts for her affections ensues. Both funny and sweet at times, this movie was very entertaining, even though it was fairly predictable.

Summary: NotSoGood...
Review: This was an ok movie. The only reason I sat through it all the way is because of Topher Grace. He's so hansome (way better looking than J.D.). He's also a great actor, but him and Bosworth don't go together. Bosworth's charachter was not developed enough into who she was suposed to be and her best friend was a little over the top.

Summary: Please!!!
Review: You people who wrote the other reviews above this just do not have an appriciation for this kind of film. It was a wonderfully told tearjerking story about celebrity love. It teaches a valuable lesson that not only shows the freakish lives of celebrities, but also gives the message that anything is possible.
I think that anyone who can appreciate a true love story will love this film as much as I did, and I'm already waiting for the DVD to come out! I hope that this POSITIVE review helps!

Summary: Win a Date With Tad Hamilton? Uh, NO!
Review: Even though this is a movie aimed at teenagers, there are extremely few outstanding qualities even most people in the 13 through 20 year old age bracket will have a tough time picking out. Speaking as a getting remotely close to an over-the-hill adult myself, I can clearly tell that "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!" is a motion picture that is in desperate need of a plot, yet tells the viewer on a consistent basis: "Is it really necessary to convey a plot, much less state a valuable moral?" - of which this picture fails on both counts. Furthermore, the tired performance of all the actors (with the exception of Gary Cole), in addition to the dull script, doesn't help matters much, either. In fact, sitting through "WaDWTH!" is akin to an experience of sitting in a dentist's office, awaiting a root canal procedure, or like eating a bowl of Sugar Frosted Flakes drenched in Budweiser, leaving an awful aftertaste, causing one's taste buds to abandon ship. With the above-mentioned flaws, the movie's 1:36 running time appears to be a typographical error, seeming more like an excercise in futility, moving more along the lines of a two-and-a-half-hour picture. To make matters worse, all of the actors, in addition to appearing both limp and stiff physically, sound monotone throughout. Even Gary Cole's performance is average by comparison (in evidence of his usually superior performance in past endeavors, including 2002's "One Hour Photo"), still beating his fellow actors here single-handedly as a result, in addition to showing the most dynamic inflections in his vocal delivery, and getting the best lines to boot. Everyone else seems to be uninterested in participating in this project, only pulling off an array of "Yeah, uhs" in the process. What's more, if Hollywood was smelling what this Tad Hamilton person was cooking, this guy would have been exported out of Tinseltown long ago, as a result of his poor attempt at trying to be vain and conceited, and on the basis of his rather weak and shoddy acting skills, thus being forbidden to return at any price. The sad thing about "WaDWTH!"'s overall premise, is that his female "Win a Date" partner smells tasty, aromatic delights coming from Tad's malfunctioning, putrid-smelling baking center, which will have even the most average teenager screaming in pain, running in the opposite direction. Not recommended.

Summary: it was soooooo awful
Review: Rosalee Futch, the perky blonde winner of the Win a Date With Tad Hamilton, is not a likable heroine. Sure, she's cute and blonde and wide-eyed, but that's all there is to her. Her best friend Cathy is a smart, feisty punk who did not get enough screen time. Her other friend Pete is in love with her but doesn't have the guts to ask her out.

They are supposed to be in their 20s in 2004, yet act like this is a Sandra Dee movie from the 1950s. It doesn't work.

I can't reconcile myself with the fact that, at 22, Rosalee works in the local grocer but will chuck it all to do whatever the man in her life -- be it the hunky Tad Hamilton or anyone else -- tells her. She has no plans for herself. It's no believable and it makes her not very likable to the modern teenagers wh will see this movie. The fact that all the guys in the movie fall all over themselves for her is even more insulting.

Perhaps the biggest insult of al is you see the whole movie in the commercials they show on TV! It's way predictable. Go see "Monster" instead!

Summary: No Winner
Review: FRIDAY, JANUARY 23, 2004--For me, this movie truly came out of nowhere. I had seen neither hide nor hair of any advertising, and only had a sketchy idea of the general plot. Needless to say, I was a little hesitant when I agreed to see it. Given all this, I shouldn't act too disappointed that it turned out to be a rather conventional and cutesy romantic comedy, and one that isn't believable for a single second. In it, small-town gal Rosalee (the oh-so-adorable Kate Bosworth) wins a contest to go on a date with her favorite movie star, Tad Hamilton (Josh Duhamel, likable if vacant). The audience gasps when they find out Rosalee's ol' pal Pete (Topher Grace) is in love with her and happens to be very anti-Tad. I say "gasps" only to add an element of surprise that really isn't there. So here we have a perfectly acceptable TV-movie inexplicably getting the theatrical treatment, with the only real benefits of it being the presence of Nathan Lane (who really doesn't get to do much anyways), and a surprisingly great performance by Grace as the love-struck dweeb. I mean, I'm not saying his work here is Oscar-level, but the star of "That 70's Show" brings a much-needed cynical, dry wit to the proceedings. His performance is the only part of this whole confection that won't hurt your teeth.

Summary: Kate Bosworth is the Perfect Leading Lady!
Review: This is a great romantic comedy. The characters are easy to care for and they care about each other. There are many clever touches as the movie delightfully toys with the romantic comedy genre.
Kate Bosworth emerges as a major rising star with her many smiles and boundless charm. Kate has a touch of the best qualities of Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullok, and Julia Roberts. She is sure to become a huge favorite with audiences.
