Summary: Lane Myer, a hero to losers everywhere.
Review: What can I say, this flick is funny!. I really dug the Asian dude that did the Howard Cossel" impersonation. If you love the 80's then you'll like this flick.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: great film
Review: This is a great surrealistic and funny film... all kinds of new things can be found the 70th time you see the movie... all kinds of things are in the film that are not touched on, like how Lane has OCD (he wears the same socks all the time that were the ones he was wearing when he met his girlfriend)... fine film

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best movie of the 80's
Review: All that can be said is John Cusack is simply awesome in all of his movies...if this were only out on DVD!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: THIS MOVIE IS THE EPITIMY OF THE EIGHTIES
Review: "HEY YES SOMETHING IS WRONG, THIS..HOW YOU SAY DORK HEAD....IS AN UNLEASED SEX FEEN....RICKY HE WILL NOT LEAVE ME ALONE HE THINKS CAUSE I STAY HERE I AM HIS..LOVE GODESS HIS UM..PROSTRATE NO PROSTITUTE MON DU......." THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST PARTS IT CONTINUES WITH A REVEALING CONVERSATION BETWEEN THE STARS ALL I CAN SAY IS BUY IT AND LOVE IT........IT NEEDS THE RATING OF 10 STARS

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The 80's were AWESOME! Music rocked, People were happier!
Review: I wish this flick was on DVD!!!!! All I can say is ...."Ditto" to all the previous positive comments about this film. Yes, this is one of the better if not one of the best 1980's films. I miss the 1980's decade ....it was a lot more fun than the "hyper sensitive/politically correct 1990's." If you like John Cusack in this film, I would also highly recommend "A Sure Thing." That too is a GREAT John Cusack 1980's film.

Review: I...want...my...TWO DOLLARS!!! Two dollars, man! Two dollars!Very very funny movie...complete with animated hamburgers, foreign exchange students, tv dinners, crazy paper boys, racing asians, and all the 80s clothes you can handle. This is a very cute, fun, lighthearted movie that I've enjoyed since I was a kid.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Greatness.
Review: This movie will seriously crack you up!!!!!! Especially the "paper boy"

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A hilarious break up movie!!
Review: Poor Lane Myer has nothing going forhim. His girlfriend left him, his mother can't cook, his father thinkshe is obsessed, his car doesn't run,and his little brother gets more girls than he does. He does have thepotential to win back he girl he loves by skiing the k12, a slope that almost noone can ski. With a little help from his crazy best friend, Charles, he will learn to ski the k12, and win Beth back. A great movie with scenes that no one can forget. Pay attention to the garage door, mom's cooking, Ricky's dancing, the chinese drivers, and Ricky's mom. I promise, this movie will make you laugh.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It's got raisins. You like raisins.
Review: I first saw this movie in the mid-eighties and have been an addict ever since. The comedy is so clever and down-right hilarious. From the villanous Roy Stalin and the infamous $2 paperboy to the dysfuntional neighborhood families and the antics of Charles DeMar, this is truly a movie for the ages. If you liked John Cusack's acting in this movie, check out his role as Hoops McCan in the Savage Steve Holland sequel One Crazy Summer. Better Off Dead is a true work of art.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best movie of the 80's
Review: In just a few words....this is without a doubt one of my personal all-time favorite movies. Classic John Cusack, classic story...with a new, off-beat twist.
