Review: I just saw this movie last night. Me and a bunch of my friends swung over to baskin robins around 10 and then headed over to blockbuster to rent it. Only one girl had seen it, so we didn't know what to expect but we all thought it was awesome!! Great laughs, great acting, and just plain fun(with a serious underlying message). I loved the way the characters all interacted so well! We had a blast and I can't wait to buy it so that I can watch it over and over!!

Review: ok, so its entertaining, I'll give it that but the movie lacks in several categories. The brain dead plot really sticks to your teeth like peanut butter. Annoying Liv was annoying and a lot of the other "generation-x" kids are just a bunch of try-hard losers.

Review: i had to buy this movie so i can watch it whenever i could. it is a movie that makes you think and laugh about what it is like to be a teenager growing up in suburbia.It deals with real issues and is well made. it also introduced me to liv tyler--thank you very much.

Review: This movie has some of the best one liners ever! Definetly one of the most underated movies. I've watched it hundreds of times and still don't get sick of it. The music rocks, the guys are cute and the story is hilarious! Watch it!

Review: It rocked. I especially liked the part where Tobey Maguire appeared in the credits. Just because he's cool. Did you ever see Pleasantville? It's nothing like Empire Records, except Tobey Maguire is in those credits too. Anyway, this is the best movie that I've ever seen two times in a row. It's just that darn good.

Summary: It's a funny thing, but...
Review: This isn't the sort of thing you admit liking in public, unless you're out on holiday with the girly-girl fan-club. One word.Cute. In a way, it's a shame that this is SO cute... you've gotta have you're cute, misunderstood, love-stuck artist, you're straight-laced study-hard beauty with pill poppin' problem, you're loveable slut who wants to sing, the slap-head suicidal girl who really just wants people to respect her... I could go on. My point is that it is too damn cute, and you miss some BRILLIANT writing in it. Most of them come from Rory Cochrane's Lucas. The "funky" youth music is maybe a little overused, but Empire Records isn't really something you gotta analyse the crap out of. It's very old-fashioned in it's approach (Let's raise money to save the Record Shop and have a happy ending - actually, didn't Wayne's World parody this sorta thing?) but it's reassuring. Better than you'd give it credit for, but maybe too neat to be a classic?

Review: i lveo this movie so much. it makes me wish that there was a place like empire in my town. you know a movie is good when you find yourself desperately hoping that that could someday be you. they were a loveable cast and you fell in love with every aspect of their character. it was funny, it was sad, it had a message, and it was overall the greatest movie ever made!!!!!!!!

Review: Empire records has been a long time favorite for me and I have to watch it at LEAST once a month to keep my spirts up! It's a excellent flick with some hilarious actors. If you haven't seen it, you REALLY need to! It'll get ya all hyped up!
