Summary: An entertaining odd fantasy comedy.
Review: When Two Couple (Geena Davis & Alec Baldwin) died in a car accident but they come back alive as Ghosts, they are Stuck for eternity inside thier house. Months later, a New York Family (Winona Ryder, Jeffery Jones & Catherine O` Hara) move to a Little Connecticut Farmhouse, changing the house aesthetically. The Ghostly Couple are forced to call a Out of Control Troublemaker named Beetlejuice (Played in a Over the Top Role by Micheal Keaton) to get the new Family out of thier home.

Directed by Tim Burton (Batman, Batman Returns, Ed Wood) made a entertaining delightful silly fantasy comedy with unique Visual Effects and a terrific music score by Danny Elfman. A Box Office Hit in the Summer of 1988. The film has Plenty of Energy, Style and Humor. Danny Elfman win an Oscar for his Unique Score. A Extremely likeable film for all ages. Grade:A-.

Summary: Beetlejuice - Great Fun for Everyone!
Review: When vacationing Adam and Barbara Maitland meet their demise when they are killed by a local dog,(don't worry, you'll laugh your head off at this,) they are transported into a world of mystery. Tim Burton takes you an a hilarious journey into the afterlife. Danny Elfman once again pairs up with Tim so they can work their movie magic, creating a roller coaster of a movie score. Beetlejuice will leave you laughing 'til you cry,(or just crying.)

Review: I Can Watch "BeetleJuice" Again and Again..And Still Laugh & Giggle!!! Tim Burton has a way of making movies that the audience can watch again and again and again and seemingly never grow tired of watching....BeetleJuice is one of those magic (and creepy) movies that takes you on a rollercoaster ride of imagination (and possibility). It has characters you love and ones you love to hate. Of course, Michael Keaton is brilliant and totally disgusting as BeetleJuice. Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin are the perfect "til death us do part" couple...who just happen to die too early. Catherine O'Hara is delightfully stuck-up and an especially unsophisticated socialite while her equally unpleasant husband/developer (played by Jeffrey Jones) is perfectly ill-at-ease in his "nervous-breakdown" required relaxation country setting. And though I really do not like Winona Ryder in most anything and everything else she has ever done, in this she is PERFECTLY WONDERFUL (rather than perfectly awful as usual). I also love "Otho", the scheming self-effacing living-world counterpart to BeetleJuice.

Every time I see the movie, I notice some new little nuance that further denotes Burton's genius...smoke coming from a cut throat, "I didn't even know I could 'Calypso'!" and so many more. One of my all-time favorites.

A KAYCEYGIRL VIDEO LIBRARY "MUST HAVE" !!

Summary: A masterpiece!
Review: Well, not exactly but pretty darn good, funny, they should do a special edition, because the special effects are dated, they should do a sequel, has anyone wondered where the heck is Michael Keaton, I suppose that with all the money he did with his Batman movies he doesn't need work anymore, come back Michael, in anything, maybe a look at an old aging Batman thinking of retiring would be good or a sequel to Beetlejuice or something new and good, but no Jack Frost sequels, please.

Summary: Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beatlejuice!
Review: Winona Ryder is HOT! HOT! HOT! as the gothic death-rock princess of Doom (see "Lucas" for more W.R. action) The best performance from that eldest Baldwin brother that I've ever seen from any of them. His zenith I'm sure. BEST PERFORMANCE - goes to - Miss Ryder!,of course, I'm a BIG fan, you see? FAV PART - when Beetlejuice was chumming up to Baldwin's character while wearing the same type clothes. No big deal, just witty and clever charm with spit. and when Beetlejuice hits up on Gina Davis and/or Winona Ryder

Summary: Beetlejuice is a greatmovie, but they cheated you on the dvd
Review: Just to warn you. when in trying to trick you in the widescreen format, the company made a mistake by also including the full screen version with it. i compared the widescreen and the full screen. and the full screen seems to comtain more picture at the top and bottom. which must mean, that all they did was take the full screen version, cut off the top a bottom slightly and call it widescreen. which is strange because i would expect it to be easier just to make the theatrical version than to carefully edit the full screen and rip many people off.

Review: I buy a lot of movies a year and never get around to watching them, but Beetlejuice can be watched over and over again. As proof, I've seen it more than five times since I bought it a year ago. It's like Indiana Jones or Who Framed Roger Rabbit or Batman; you just HAVE to own it because it just never grows old. So what if it's maybe not the best story ever told? Everything about it is classic. And the scene where Beetlejuice goes to the miniature whorehouse is one of my all time favorites.

Summary: One of Tim Burton's Greatest Films
Review: This film is awesome. The DVD is not what it could be. Warner Brothers must not like special editions or Tim Burton or something. Superman has a special edition DVD. Burton's Beetlejuice does not nor does his Batman films. But this particular Burton film deserves a special editon more than any fim Burton has made. I'm still waiting for a sequel.
