Summary: HA! HA! Funny!
Review: This 1994 comedy is still a riot to watch even ten years after it was released. Starring Jim Carrey as a renegade detective who rescues animals from kidnappers, Ace Detective tracks down a kidnapper who has kidnapped the Miami Dolphins mascot, Snowflake the dolphin from the stadium's aquarium. This movie has an excellent cast and Courtney Cox is absolutely hot!! Go out and buy this movie at once. The DVD offers nothing new though so be wary.

This is possibly the funniest movie of all time. Just watch it, and you'll know what I mean. In the opening scene alone, there is a shot of Ace kicking around a package that says "FRAGILE" on it. Who else would do something like that?

Review: He's the best out there... because he's the only one out there. Jim Carrey plays Ace Ventura, pet detective. Jim is assigned to the case to find the missing Miami Dolphin's mascot dolphin and star quarterback Dan Marino. In the end whether undercover or water Jim always gets what he's looking for whether its girls, his man or pet! This very funny movie has little to no plot but is a relaxing vacation from high concept movies and allows you to kick back and enjoy the dump, idiotic humor.

Review: Aside from it's predicatble plot and a bad cast of supporting actors, what really makes this movie worth watching is Jim Carrey. He is a comic genius. The movie also features the acting talents of "friends" tv show cast member Courtney Cox before she turned anorexic. It also guess stars Dan Marino. This movie will make you laugh your a$s off and wanting to get more from Jim Carrey. If you enjoy "Ace Ventura" check out "Me, Myself and Irene."
