Summary: Adam Sandler Will Tickle Your Funny Bone
Review: One thing about Adam Sandler movies are that they are hillariously dumb, or uncanny. But this movie almost never gets old, and once you push play on your VCR the laughing is nearly relentless. Billy Madison (Adam Sandler) the wacky, immature, clueless "adult" is starting school all over again at his request of proving to his father (Darrin McGavin) that he is no fool to be the head of Madison Hotels (his father's). Of course Billy does run into some predicaments, especially with Eric (Bradley Whitford) who stops at nothing to prove that Billy is a fool, and is not the type of person to be running Madison Hotels.

This is an outrageously funny comedy, that will find you on the floor laughing in tears.

Summary: Billy Madison: GREAT movie, but it gets old real fast
Review: This movie is a GOOD movie. If you think I gave it 3 stars because of the movie, you're wrong. It has a nice, solid plot, stars and cameos galore, parts that will make you laugh uncontrollably, and a script written by the same people who brought you "Happy Gilmore".

This may want to make you run out and buy it almost immediately, but DON'T. Because I'm warning you: this movie gets old real fast.

There are lots of movies out there that never get old, movies that have strong enough vocal cords to scream in your face every viewing, movies like "The Sixth Sense", "X-Men", "10 Things I Hate About You" and "You've Got Mail", and those movies are worth purchasing because of that quality. But "Billy Madison" is not one of those movies. Because the thing is, the plot and the childish humor wear thin after you see the movie at least 3 times, and then you get bored with the movie. Maybe after that, you'll reluctantly see it once more because you're bored or maybe some friends are coming over, but after that, you'll probably never view it again because it's gotten OLD. And if you've purchased the movie, it will magically transform from a VHS tape into a dust-collecting tool. And that, defined in the Webster's Dictionary, is known as "a waste of money". But if you figure the movie still looks good and you'll just buy it on DVD, that's also a bad choice. The movie will still get old, and you'll have slim to nil features to keep you entertained, because all this DVD has is the trailer for the movie (and a couple of hidden trailers in Adam Sandler's bio), production notes, and web links. That's not what you'd call a great DVD, now would you?

Here's the key thing to do if this movie looks good to you: go to your video store and RENT it. Maybe once, maybe twice, maybe as many times as you want, but no matter how many times you rent it, DON'T buy it.

You've been warned.

Summary: Hilarious
Review: Billy Madison is hillarious. The story is so stupid and the comedy is great like no other film. This is one of Adam Sandler's best films to date.

In this great movie, Billy goes back to grades K-12(he's in his 20's), to prove to his father that he is not an idiot and that he can become chairman of his father's hotel chain. He goes back to school and the man that wants to become chairman makes a plan so Billy won't be able to finish school in the weeks assigned, and he'd become chairman. His plan works and then Billy challenges him to a so called Olympics type thing of everything you'd learn in high school.

I won't give away anymore except you must watch this movie. You will really love it. Enjoy.

HAPPY VIEWING!

Summary: FUNNY! 5 plus stars!
Review: I love this movie! The 1st time I saw it I was like 10 I think, and I thought it was sooo funny! Its about an I think 21 yr old, or some age like that, billy madison, played by Adam Sandler who has to go through kindergarden through 12th grade all over again.

Summary: Billy Madison is simply the greatest film of all time.
Review: I've read every review of this movie quite thoroughly and I've noticed a common thread in each and every "bad" review given. All of Billy Madison's detractors say that the movie is stupid and childish. I suggest that these people stick to their "The English Patient", and leave this wonderful film alone. The movie's 'stupidity' as critics call it, is actually the essence of it's true genius. Billy Madison is ridiculous, illogical, and downright bizarre, but it is these elements that make this movie the most entertaining film I have ever seen. Sure, there are great, epic, emotional dramas that have the power to move you to tears, and these are exceptional films. Films can also be fun however, and Billy Madison is the most fun you will ever have from simply watching a movie. Doesn't this also make a film great? Why do critics always dismiss films such as these as "immature"? Billy Madison won't make you cry, but Gone With the Wind sure isn't gonna make you laugh either. Both emotions are important, and a film that makes you laugh uncontrollably (which I guarantee this film will) is just as effective as one that makes you weep, or feel warm and fuzzy inside. As far as Sandler's acting chops are concerned, he certainly wouldn't be considered a 'thespian', but his natural appeal is so exceptionally strong that it can carry a movie - he is just that likeable. The man speaks pure gibberish and I laugh my fool head off, this is a talent that no other actor can match. I don't recommend that you see Billy Madison, I insist that you buy it, right now, from Amazon.com. The American Film Institute declared Orson Welles' "Citizen Kane" as the greatest film of all time? Just one question: where is the imaginary penguin, Mr. Welles? Where is the imaginary penguin? Peace, I'm outta here!

Summary: Funny, funny, funny.
Review: Maybe its the youngness in me. Maybe its the idiot in me. I don't know, but I just can't help but love this movie. Adam Sandler, who co-wrote the story, may act a bit too infantile, but you just can't help but laugh at his idiocy. Besides, ITS GOT PENGUINS!

The movie may lack plot, substance, and all those other big words critics like to use, but then again, critics don't like anything worth enjoying. This movie is genuinally funny. Its got everything you need for a great movie.

It's no classic, but it is definately worth owning.

Summary: Worth buying!
Review: In his most challenging role yet, Adam Sandler portrays a character who is a son of a rich hotel chain owner. He does nothing but hang around the house with his friends. The main part of the movie is Billy needs to graduate all twelve grades in order to become the hotel chain's next CEO. Adam Sandler is usually typecast as an immature goof. Here, he takes it to another level, a stretch in his acting abilites. Worth buying and watching.

Summary: There's that penguin again
Review: Adam Sandler is a comic genius. From lighting poo on his neighbors porch, to chasing an invisible penguin, this movie is hilarious. It is the story of a spoiled rich kid who goes back to school to win a bet and take over his father's hotel chain. Comedic mayhem ensues, and Adam gets by with a little help from his friends: Chris Farley, Steve Buscemi, and Norm MacDonald to name a few. This movie has a couple of jokes that kind of cross the line (minus a star), but is funny from beginning to end.

Summary: How could you not own this MOVIE?
Review: Billy Madison has graced us for many year's with his funny personality and great movies. Even though I think that some of his newer movie's are not as funny, Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore are 2 of his best! I have watched each movie more then 20x and still love to watch them, over and over! :) I can't believe when friend's come over and they have never seen Billy Madison, that is why it is a must buy! So with all this in mind that guy matt cale who wrote his review, he just doesn't know, what a good movie really is! So take this advice and buy this movie, if not buy it, be sure to rent it at your local video store! P.S. Don't pee your pants! :)

Summary: Extremely Funny Sandler Movie
Review: This is one of the best movies I've ever seen. Adam Sandler does good work of the rich stupid kid that bought his way through high school. Everything from a backstabbing penguin to peeing in your pants is in this movie.
