Summary: FBI Agent turned beauty queen-Romance and Fun
Review: Miss Congeniality (2000), directed by Donald Petrie is a combination action/comedy/romance with a run time of approximately 111 minutes.

Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock)is an FBI agent who's aggressive nature has branded her as "just one of the boys" by everyone in the bureau except for her friend and fellow agent, Eric Matthews (Benjamin Bratt.

When a terrorist threatens to bomb the Miss United States pageant, the FBI has to find a female agent to go undercover as a contestant, and Gracie is the only female FBI agent who is able to look the part despite the fact that she looks and acts like "one of the boys".

Much to the dismay of Gracie, and to the pageant managers Kathy Morningside(Candice Bergen) and Stan Fields (William Shatner), she is put through a complete head-to-toe transformation by a "pageant consultant", Victor Melling (Michael Caine). He teaches her the basics, including how to glide in high heels. The transformation process is hilarious. She is entered in the pageant as Gracie Loui Freebush, Miss New Jersey, replacing a contestant who was discovered to have acted in a porn film.

As the pageant progresses, Gracie Lou finds friendships, romance, and in a surprise ending, heroism.

If you like romance, combined with comedy, as well as suspense, this is a must see.

Summary: Cute Plot -- Acceptable Cast
Review: Despite being hampered by a lack of any real romantic opposite in a romantic comedy, Sandra Bullock manages to pull off an enjoyable performance. The plot is rather outrageous at times, but it works. The cast manages to pull off rather spoofy but humorous situations, so there are a number of laughable moments. Again, the movie could have been improved with a believable love interest, but it is still worth watching, just for the fun of it.

Summary: Not just a lame chick flick
Review: This is a good movie, and it will appeal to teenage males just as much as anyone else... All the scenes of the dressing rooms and everything else with Americas 51 hottest females. The plot is very strong as well.

Summary: Hilarious
Review: This is definitely one of those classic fish out of water movies. Bullock, who stars as an FBI agent, works on a case involving a beauty pageant in which she, the ultimate tomboy, is forced to dress up like a beauty queen. Throughout the movie, she transforms from a Butch-like figure to a gorgeous young woman with a classically male attitude. Lots of laughs, lots of unexpected turns...I'd recommend this to anyone with a sense of humor, especially t-shirt-and-jeans-loving tomboys.

Summary: OUTSTANDING!!!!!!
Review: I own this movie already. This is a great movie, if I didn't have it, I'd buy it! Even if you are not a Sandra Bullock fan, it is definitely worth watching. I don't particularly favor one actor/tress over another, but I have seen this movie at least 50 times, an I laugh every time! 2 Thumbs up!

Summary: Not a Sandra Bullock Fan
Review: I'm not a fan of Bullock but I don't dislike her either. I did enjoy this film, she brings a lot to it. Just the part of her fighting for the crown is worth watching the movie.

Summary: Laugh Out Loud Funny!
Review: Okay. I don't care what the average costomer rating is. This earns an easy 5 stars. It truly is the funniest movie I've ever seen. Sandra Bullock is hilarious, and, although it has the typical love story plot. It also has unexpected turns. I could watch this over and over and never get bored of it. Now I know that you can take a masculine FBI agent and make her into a Miss America wanna-be and make it into a movie. This isn't just a chick flick. I think everyone of ALMOST all ages would enjoy this. This truly is a MUST see movie!

Summary: Miss Congeniality and the Beauty Queen
Review: I would have to say that I love this movie for two reasons. First, the talent competition of the contestant making baloons reminded me of a real Miss America contestant singing she wanted to be a secretary. It was really bad talent and hard to believe someone would win a state beauty crown by making balloon animals these days. Second, I remember watching a runner up to Miss America making faces when she lost. Miss Texas just was wonderful in her dissapointment scene. This was hilarious and moved along very well. 100 points out of 100/ 5 stars.

Summary: 4.5 For A Funny Movie
Review: I really think Sandra Bullock is a great actress and I have heard a lot of good reviews so I decided to watch this and it was pretty good. Although it was predictable and somewhat "ordinary" this movie made me laugh a whole bunch of the time. If you want laughs, a mystery and some cool music definetly get this movie. You'll love it!

Overall: Great! Go and watch it, you might just end up buying it! :)
