Review: This was the funniest movie I have seen for a long time. Sandra was such a natural in this movie you would think that she is just like the character that she plays. I haven't laughed through a movie like this one. Its a must see.

Summary: Duck Soup!
Review: Pretty lame plot although charming Sandra does her best to make it work. Michael Caine is very good as gay beauty-expert.

Summary: One of Sandra's better Films
Review: After a string of dramatic, deep, and comedy-lacking films, Sandra Bullock makes an excellent comeback in "Miss Congeniality". The film depics Gracie Hart, a nerdy FBI agent who goes under cover under the allias Gracie Lou Freebush as she stakes out the annual Miss United States Pageant as the beauty contestant from New Jersey. The film features an all star cast including Micheal Caine, who palys Gracie's pageant consultant, Candice Bergen, who plays the pageant director along with William Shatner, and Benjamin Bratt, Gracie's Boss and her secret "Object of affection". The cast, combined with the witty premise, and Sandra Bullock's brilliant Acting and Producing ability, makes Miss Congeniality one of the best films Sandra Bullock has ever pulled off.So, No matter what your tastes may be, (and I quote from the films jacket), ".....MISS hits."

Summary: Funny & Romantic - Sandra Bullock at a new level
Review: This movie is about an FBI agent who seems to be about as rough around the edges as most men, but has to enter a Miss USA beauty pageant. You'll laugh as Sandra Bullock becomes "a lady" while Ben Bratt stands at her side, or is thrown on the matt, as a fellow agent. It offers up comedy while giving an inside view to a rougher side of Sandra Bullock. Watch to see if she wins the pageant, or just whips the beauty queens butt.

Summary: A movie the whole family will enjoy
Review: I thought it was VERY funny. Go rent it! I did. I watched it over and over again. I really do want it. It is a movie of talent and beauty. I REALLY think you will enjoy it, I did.

Summary: I CAN'T BELIEVE MORE PEOPLE DIDN'T LIKE THIS FILM!!
Review: I thought this film was hilarious! The lead characters play their roles convincingly, and the plot is solid and funny. Some people call this film fluff, but in my opinion, its not. Fluff is a Julia Roberts movie ('Sleeping with the Enemy' excluded). This film has more substance ( and more of a plot) than a simple fluff movie.

Miss Congeniality is a comedy that loves to make fun of itsself. It mixes satire with light and dark comedy perfectly! Don't miss out on this film!!

Summary: Sandra Bullock reinvented her acting
Review: Frankly, Sandra hasn't got a real good hit in the theatres for some time already. As we were thinking that she might be living a gloomy acting life, she surprised us and rocked us with this hilarious and witty Miss Congeniality!

The story was a very basic and sometimes headless one, but it managed to incorporate stuff that were important to make the storyline move on tightly and in an interesting manner. Gags were manipulated very cautiously and they could really ring the bell when needed. The cast was very good, this not only applied to Sandra, Michael and Benjamin, but also to all the girls in the pageant or "the scholarship program" as it was put in the movie.

Sandra Bullock led the whole show basically, but without all the sparks with Michael Caine, the movie would be much less funny. Sandra Bullock tried hard to destroy her image of "the girl next door" and it was very successful. Her ruthless speeches and her crappy manner all came so naturally that you could see a brand new Sandra before you. Before that, we would not be able to imagine that Sandra Bullock could be so sloppy and "masculine". Nontheless, we could still see the dashling Sandra for she was the undercover in the Miss USA pageant! But watching a well imaged and dressed up Sandra behaving like a man was even funnier. In all, you wouldn't be disappointed no matter you are a fan of Sandra Bullock or not.

Michael Caine was as usual good. He was the next most important character in the movie and you can see that he really played his role with the exact amount of precision. Benjamin Brad supposed to be another important character, but due the requirement of the movie, he didn't really have a lot to do. Nonetheless, you could see that he really worked hard to catch up with Michael and Sandra. Other people one should not miss are the girls at the pageants. They are fabulous and they are really the spice of the dish.

In all, if you are looking for a funny movie that you could watch again and again and still have a good laugh, Miss Congeniality is a very good choice.

Summary: A must have for one's DVD collection
Review: Miss Congeniality, I thought was one of the funniest movies out in a long time- It was funny from the beginning to the end. This was one of Sandra Bullock's best movies out, to date. It is the kind of comedy that you can just laugh along with, even if it wasn't the most realistic at times- Isn't that what comedies are about? This one lets you forget about everything areound you and just enjoy it. A must have for one's DVD collection.

Summary: The movie is only rivaled by the running commentary on DVD
Review: The standard parallel themes make up this movie. First a FBI agent must go undercover in the Miss United States beauty pageant to prevent a mad bomber from bombing the event. The second theme is the "ugly duckling" who realizes her potential.

You have seen this type of movie before and can anticipate most of the twists and turns, even the outcome. What you can not anticipate is the fun you have on the way. All the actors are well chosen for their parts. I am not going to describe them as you as I do not want you to be anticipating them. In fact it is best not to look at the actor list until they show up on the screen (It's a shocker.)

After watching the movie the DVD had all the elements that DVDs promise to have. There are bios on the actors. Most of all is a running commentary, which rivals the movie for top billing. Actually I thought Sandra was cute in her clumsy stage. Her commentary showed the differences they made cosmetically and psychologically to advance her through the movie. There is a funny disquisition of using graphics to mask a certain object on Sandra.

This may be one of Sandra's best. It is sure worth watching.
