Summary: DIGESTIBLE FARE AT BEST, BULLOCK IS A POORMANS JULIA
Review: Miss Congeniality is PREDICTABLE. The relationship between Sandra Bullock and Benjamin Bratt is not believable, the acting is fair at best.

The only thing that saves this movie is Candice Bergen as the TV Queen Host of the Miss United States pageant, and Michael Caine as Bullocks Make-up diva, other than that this movie is a bust.

Sandra Bullock has proved she is the poorman version of Julia Roberts, and with each movie she keeps getting worse and worse.

This should of been a TV movie of the week.

Summary: The best comedy in a long time
Review: "Miss Congeniality", the light-hearted Sandra Bullock flick, has proven to be one of the funniest movies ever produced. Not only does the hilarity mix well with the drama (which there is very little of), there is not a lot of [bad] humor to obtain this chief position of comedy. I personally saw it 5 times in theaters because I enjoyed it so much, and I noticed each time that there was a wide range of audience (from ages 5-75, and both sexes). I believe that any Sandra Bullock fan would enjoy this film especially, because it has broken her trend of unusually bad "duds". It is definitely NOT a chick flick.

Summary: A fun movie!
Review: This isn't the best movie I have ever seen, or the funniest, but I think it's a fun movie. It wasn't nearly as good as Drop Dead Gorgeous, but if you're in the mood for a Sandra Bullock vehicle based around My Fair Lady, which was based around Pygmalion, check it out. Hey, it's got Micheal Caine!

Summary: Poor gracie,at the mercy of a bunch of male chauvanists
Review: Poor Gracie, she's a woman in a male FBI environment, and as my dad put t,she made a normal mistake by feeling sorry for a bad guy and the dumb men around her, save a few, don't seem to get it,how do they punish her? By enrolling her in a beauty contest. Candice Bergen is wonedrfully annoying as a former beauty contestant,I wanted to smack her, just so I could get a rise out of her too sweet goody goody wholesome image. Michael Caine is hilarious,I wonder if his character is too effeminate??

Summary: Why you get your money's worth with this DVD
Review: I held off purchasing (let alone watching) this movie for awhile, not particularly attracted by the previews I'd seen. I'm glad I finally got a chance to see this delight of a film. It showcases the comedic talents of Sandra Bullock, who's also supported by a strong cast of other actors - including Michael Caine, Benjamin Bratt and Candice Bergen. I found Bullock to be believable as klutzy FBI agent Gracie Hart, forced to go undercover as a beauty pageant contestant. I really enjoyed the moments in this film when Gracie Hart didn't quite get on top of the whole beauty pageant mentality, when she slipped out of character and lets the real person, flaws and all, show. Michael Caine is superb as the man behind the woman, playing a gay beauty consultant who is nearly overwhelmed by the challenge of transforming Bullock/Gracie Hart into a credible pageant contestant. As if this weren't enough, the DVD has all the extras that provide a close-up look at the making of this film. There are some funny out takes, two documentaries, two feature-length audio commentaries (one with Bullock and co-screenwriter Mark Lawrence, the other with director Donald Petrie)...and much more. Listening to her commentary, I felt like Bullock revealed a bit of the person behind the actress and this was a special treat.

Summary: Sandra's best yet!
Review: I couldn't wait to see this movie when it came out on DVD, because I seemed to miss it in theaters. I went to the Blockbuster 3 weeks in a row and still they were all rented. Finally, when I got it, I was so happy and pleased that it was good, I went out and bought it on DVD!! Sandra plays a tomboy FBI agent who goes under-cover at the Miss America pagent to ensure the safety of the other contestants from "The Citizen", who turns out not to be who you think it would be. I recommend this movie to all ages!! ~Norms1gal

Summary: Seen it all before
Review: What a horrible movie. Ive seen all the jokes, snorts, and falls a million times. I couldn't wait for it to end and had a hard time finishing it. I am usually a sucker for a funny movie and love all the great ones but this one failed to live up to an even slightly funny movie. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time.
