I saw this movie and i really enjoyed it it's a cool go with the flow comedy.It's very vulgar but that's what makes it funny.
let me give you a quote from this movie"when the monkeys take over the world we won't spank the monkey the monkey will spank us" it's dumb things like this that make it funny, Am i rambeling????The plot is pretty flat but to see 2 stoners one perverted skinny one and the other a fat guy in a trenchcoat that never speaks on an adventure makes it entertaining.This movie will not teach you jack it's a good movie to just pass the time.Oh and another thing alot and alot of celebrity cameo's so that makes this even more entertaning let me name a few ben affleck,matt damon,wes craven,james van der beek, and many more so if you want to see a movie that's just entertaining rent or buy this one.

Review: If you like bad movies that aren't funny at all, rent or buy this. This movie is the cimimatic equivelent of being kicked in the groin: painfull and not at all funny. If suck was a drink it would taste like this movie.

Summary: Jay And Silent Bob - Not As Good As DOGMA
Review: This was a pretty funny movie. But one thing, they could've done without all the cussing. It was kinda funny at first, but then it was just like "are they Eminem or something?" Other than that, the movie was really funny. If you liked "Dogma" you should check this out. In my opinion, Dogma was a much better film. Bloodier, but funnier. It invovles pretty much the same overall cast. The DVD has a lot of good features. I would reccomend that you rent this movie or watch it or something before you decide to purchase it. And a word of advice: Don't let your parents watch it! Mine freaked out when we started watching it at my Birthday party. We got about 5 minutes into before they told us to pick something else. That's the only complaint (cussing) ! Enjoy!

Summary: An Unappriciated Cult-Movie!
Review: Jay and Silent Bob are the best Comical pair since Wayne and Garth from "Wayne's World" and just like them, will enter the comedy's hall of fame. This movie is incredibly funny, and I believe will be learned in social studies as the representer of an era. I also believe that it'll be a must-watch classic for every self-respecting teenager. Right on Kevin Smith!

Summary: "Doesn't Anyone Have A Jet Anymore?"
Review: This is a really stupid movie. But not funny stupid. It's just lame. That said, I bought the DVD ...because it has really cool extras. So if you want to rent this movie, and you have a DVD player, you should rent the Digital Versatile Disc (I love saying that). If nothing else, you'll probably enjoy the deleted scenes. It's two discs, by the way. Some good deleted scenes include little montages of Will Ferrell and Judd Nelson outtakes where they are ad-libbing, quite brilliantly.
I'll just let you know, though, you really shouldn't see this movie unless you've seen the Kevin Smith movies that precede it, and they are Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Dogma (in that order). If you don't, you won't understand any of the references they make to the other movies.
This movie is about Jay and Silent Bob, two guys who like to "hang around" and cuss. They make appearances in the other four films as well. They find out that Hollywood is making a movie about them, based on their comic book. They are stark-raving mad and they become determined to stop the production of this film, no matter what the cost.
Don't watch this movie if you despise gratuitous vulgarity and gross-out humor. If you do like that kind of stuff, you might very well like this. If you are a Kevin Smith fan, you probably will, though my guess is you've already seen it.

Summary: one of the stupidest movies i've ever seen
Review: OK, here's MORE ...-talking on the internet about Jay and Silent Bob! While I think THEY are hilarious (in other movies), this movie is unbelievably stupid. I'm a big fan of Clerks, Mallrats, etc...but I absolutely hated this. There were maybe a total of 10 actually amusing minutes! Sometimes trying to be stupid for laughs just simply doesn't work and is annoying. Thankfully I saw it on pay-per-view and didn't buy it, so I saved some money. I suggest you watch it on TV before you buy.Also, if you're offended by foul language (which I'm not) you will hate this movie even more than I did. It was even too much obscenity for me.

Summary: Kevin Smith is a genius!
Review: This is the most hilarious movie I've ever seen. Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes together is great. This movie is about Jay and Silent Bob trying to save The Bluntman and Chronic magazine. It also has a lot of actors/actresses you may recognize. Such as Alanis Morisette, who plays "God". Chris Rock is hilarious, as always. Ben Affleck and Matt Damon play as angels. Banky (Chasing Amy) and Brodie (Mallrats) also came back for more. I recommend that you see the previous Kevin Smith movies (Chasing Amy, Dogma, Mallrats, Clerks) for this movie to make more sense (it still is funny even if you haven't seen the older movies). There are so many things from the previous Kevin Smith movies that he brought into this one. It's great.

Review: jay and silent bob has to be the most hillarious film ever. the cameos are executed superbly and the acting is surprisingly convincing. the links to 'real' hollywood are also very good (note ben affleck and matt damon on the "good will hunting" set. the storyline is superb- using the tried and tested "dumb & dumber" plotline (two characters running around all through the film in a spectacularly funny way). definitely buy this unless you don't have tv, even then it might be worth it!
