Summary: One of the two greatest slap-stick comedies EVER made!
Review: How does one not love this movie! The two actors that play their parts perfectly with excellent writing and an appropriate soundtrack to back them up are unstoppable. I thought that I laughed at it the first time that I saw it, but it seems that this movie only gets funnier every time I see it! It ties rank with Billy Madison for the funniest movie that I have ever seen!

Summary: I am not a big fan of the 5-star review, but...
Review: I had to give it to this movie because... well... I can't find enough fault to knock off a star! Seriously, though, while the movie does have a bit of scatological humor (which usually annoys me- see Austin Powers 2) overall it is just stupid fun. Carrey is good as (Dumb? Dumber?) but Daniels was the one who impressed me- he is such a good "respectable" actor in other movies- it was shocking to see him play dumb so well. The plot of the movie works because it is easy to believe that these two guys are just *that* stupid. And it has some of the funniest lines in recent memory- lines that my friends and I use all the time. I mean, you doesn't enjoy asking the waitress, "What's the soup du jour?"

Review: this movie is the best ther ever was. well worth the 40 times i have seen it. i have it memorized. i wouldn't know what to tell someone who doesn't like it because i havn't meat any one who hasn't. if you don't think it's funny then you have a sad life because i can tell you have no sence of humor.

Review: Appaling. A complete waste of celluloid (or, in this case, a magnetically coated disc).The Farrely brothers' script, story and characters are actually very good, but unfortunately, whatever whimsical qualities the script, situations, dialogue and characters evoke were all buried beneath a morass of the combination of overacting, facial gymnsatics, posing, and various & sundry annoyances perpetrated by Jim Carrey. It didn't take more than 10 minutes before I was literally on my knees, praying to all of the Gods on Olympus to please have the Jim Carrey character killed in the film. Will someone please explain why he is considered funny? Since when has being able to distort your face been considered high comedic talent? Sure, Jerry Lewis built a carrer on it, and now the only people who think he is "Da Bomb" are the hated French! But here we are, applauding Carrey for standing in front of a camera and mugging for 90 minutes. Bill Murray would have made this movie a classic. Chris Elliot would have made it great. Woody Harrelson would have made it very good. Jim Carrey makes it unwatchable.

Review: Dumb and Dumber can be classified as one of the funniest movies in comedy's history. This outgoing and crazy film allows it's viewers to let loose and have a real good laugh. The movie's plot is not too complex and easy to follow. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels did an awesome job of delivering hardcore comedy, and entertaining all comedy lovers who watched it. See the film to catch mind-blowing laughter, and unforgettable memories!

Summary: Maybe I should move to the States ...
Review: because nobody over here understands why I love this film so much. I would never have seen it at all if it hadn't been showing on a ferry to Amsterdam back in '95. I have seen it about ten times since and, as so many other reviewers have said, it just gets funnier every time. I'm thinking now about the bit where Jeff Daniels get his tongue stuck to the ski lift and I'm laughing to myself! Sad but true ... The best slapstick comedy ever made.

Review: This so called "funny" movie is no more than a load of bull. It has both Carrey and Daniels at their worst. The humor is far fetched. It has no real plot and it is all together stupid. I apologize if I disagree with just about all the other reviews but this movie is so terrible I can't lie about it.

Review: This movie is so funny!!!!!!!!!! yes, i does have a lot of "fart jokes" (not literaly but that kind of ha ha ha) "That's it! I've had it with this DUMP! We've got no FOOD! We've got no JOBS! Our pets HEADS ARE FALLING OFF!!!" you wont find another movie like this anywhere. take it from me, it guarentees hundreds of laughs during the movie and after. you'll watch it 50 times and it will still crack you up. one of the best movies of all time. a true classic.
