Summary: excellent, absolutely hilarious
Review: Dumb And Dumber is probably the funniest film i've ever seen. Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels make a hilarious pair. In the event of losing a briefcase full of money, they have to return it to their rightful owner. They come across the adventures of getting lost on the way to Aspen, an overdose on laxative, buying a Ferrarri,selling their dog van to a little boy for a moped,sticking a budgies head on with tape and giving it to a blind boy. They also fall out many times,accidentally killing a man with rat poisen,be shot wearing a bullet-proof jacket, get robbed by an old lady, get stuck on a toilet that doesn't flush, fall off a jet way because he's a limo driver, eating red hot chilly peppers,being chased by the police and may more.
Not realising that they have both agreed to go on a date with the same woman Harry (Jeff Daniels) manages to stick his tongue to a frosty pole and stretches his tongue to about two inches longer than usual...

Summary: HOLD ON TIGHT, THIS IS A NON STOP FUN FEST RIDE
Review: The movie Dumb and Dumber is perhaps the smartest comedy ive seen.This is the funniest movie ive seen and deffanatley one of my favourites.Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels chemistry was great and really made the movie as good as it is.The movie itself is HILARIOUS.Llyod Christmas(Carrey) and Harry Dunn(Daniels) go on an insane journey to return a breif case full of cash all the way to Aspen.This trip is hilarious, the whole movie is a rollercoaster and when you think its about to slow down and stop it just picks back up again, in other words its non stop fast paced word for word comedy that will leave you gasping for air. This movie would have to be Carrey's funniest and best performance of his career and Daniels was also outstanding in playing his role and with the exception of Chris Farley, no one could have done it better.This is also a very rewatchable movie, ive watched it too many times and the work put in this movie by the cast and crew deffentley deserves a spot in your colection. HIGHLY RECOMENDED

Review: Every Tom, Dick, and Gordon says that this movie is "grossout" humor or "toilet" humor or belch and fart jokes, but a good part of it isn't that. The gross parts only happen in maybe three or four scenes -- it's just that those are the scenes that stick in the mind. Which is a shame because the parts of this movie that I did like was everything that wasn't gross. Parts like:
The beginning.
The airport.
The doggie van.
Seabass in the diner.
Most of the dream sequence (how about that KISS?)
The styling parlor (pedicure with an electric sander, anyone?)
The 7:45-quarter-to-eight thing.
The SNOWBALL FIGHT!
The jalapeno scene
Harry and the ski lady
Lloyd and the ski lady
The Jacuzzi scene.
The party -- esp the swordfight with the walking sticks.
The gaudy tuxedoes.
The gents getting words wrong.
The romantic monologue when Lloyd practiced telling Mary his feelings.
Lloyd's unwitting love declaration to a schoolboy.
To me, the laughs were in dialogue and character. I'm no prude or anything and I'm not squeamish. I just don't think urinating into a beer bottle or explosive diarrhea attacks are funny. I don't think those scenes added anything to the movie. If anything, they took away from it. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of five. By and large, an enjoyable comedy. I kinda liked the love part of the movie better than the road-trip and crime parts, but I guess that's cuz I'm a lady.

Summary: THE DEFINITIVE MOVIE OF THE 1990s
Review: Years from now, critics will look at DUMB AND DUMBER as the greatest movie of all time...If not the DUCK SOUP, or CITIZEN KANE of its day. The plot is simple, the jokes are funny and many elaborate camera angles and gags are thrown in throughout the movie. This movie is best seen with the utmost attention, there are lots of things you can miss.

Summary: Still getting funnier every time
Review: It's not exactly cerebral humor, but "Dumb and Dumber" is one of those rare comedies that still makes you laugh out loud even if you've seen it 50 times (as I have). Jeff Daniels is great, but Jim Carrey makes the film what it is -- a 90-minute romp that almost never lets up. He employs the same physical comedy that made him so big in "Ace Ventura," but when he's doing this bit as a hapless loser, it makes him quite pathetic and lovable. The biggest reason that "Dumb and Dumber" is fun to watch over and over again is that the two main characters, Harry and Lloyd, are very *nice* people, despite their intellectual shortcomings. They're optimistic, lively and kindhearted, and because of that, you can tolerate the occasional bit of toilet humor that the Farrely Brothers write for them. This is the second Jim Carrey movie I ever saw, and there's a point in the movie where, despite the overall silliness of this movie, I realized that Carrey would one day be able to succeed as something other than a rubber-faced jester. It's the moment where he's telling Harry how lonely he is, and that he wants to move to Colorado. It's actually pretty touching, even in this goofy context.

Summary: Years of laughter to be expected
Review: Forget all the editorial reviews by the so called professionals, this movie is hilarious, and there is nothing they can say, or write to deny this fact. My colleagues and I enjoy playing wav files from the movie that you can download from the WEB. When someone does something stupid, all of a sudden, one of my co-workers will fire off a wav file perfect for the ocassion. In addition, I have not found one person that does not enjoy this movie. ALl you have to say is one line from the movie and everyone around will know exactly what movie it is from, and a conversation begins. I truly suspect I will enjoy this movie year after year. Jim Carrey is truly one of the most talented actors alive today and though he may not deserve an Oscar for this performance, his Liar Liar performance should have put him in the running. The Academy should get a life.

This made me Laugh Out Loud this is an extremely funny movie.Soon as i saw this on dvd i quickly brought it.Ive watched this so many times and you will do the same as it is so funny.This is like a very long roller coaster ride and you dont want it to stop, such as the road house incedent, then policeman incedent it doesnt stop it just keeps getting funnier and funnier and you will be saying during the movie what else can these idiots do next.It is such a great movie and i would call it jim carreys most funniest movie(and that does say alot)it kicks ace ventures ass!
If you are a COMEDY fan it would only be a waste of money to hire this as you will end up rehiring it out again so just buy it i doubt you will be dissapoited and bored!
Oh also look out for the 'we got no food,no money, OUR PETS HEADS ARE FALLING OFF' this line will leave you gasping for air and it isnt even the funniest scene! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED If my review helped you & you agree this movie is great click the yes button!
