Summary: Ultimate Conversation Piece
Review: Words of relationship wisdom were never better spoken than in this film's dialogue. Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal are perfection together as two people who meet as young college kids, then travel through the ups and downs of life [somewhat haphazardly] together. Eventually, after many attempts to disect the male and female perspective on sex, love, marriage, getting older, etc., they find they're the best suited for each other.

It's funny and heartwarming and has everything a film needs to capture your attention and be memorable, including Meg Ryan's infamous fake orgasm scene in the diner. Classic!

Summary: I love this movie!
Review: This is one of those few movies you can watch over and over again and only love it more. Meg Ryan, Billy Crystal and Carrie Fisher are superb. "When Harry Met Sally" is heartwarming and enjoyable - and never ceases to be funny. I watch it whenever I'm feeling down - it never fails to put me in a good mood. This is the ultimate romantic comedy - it is and always will be the best. No movie (except perhaps "Moonstruck") even comes close.

Summary: Best Romantic Comedy Ever!
Review: It just doesn't get any better than this! Although this is a romantic comedy, it definitely is NOT a "chick flick". Although the movie does have its critics, but the Film should not be analyzed to this level of detail. Is this film far removed from reality? Absolutely, but who cares if it's funny, right?

If you're in the mood for a great, light-hearted comedy with a lot of good one-liners and even better background music (read my review on the Soundtrack, however before buying it), then give this Film a shot--you won't be disappointed!

Summary: Would you like a fake orgasm with your sandwhich?
Review: Wonderfl movie about the relationship between a man and a woman. Not only does the movie have some of the most memorable qotes (such as: You know and a woman can't be friends because the sex part gets in the way). But it also has great direction from Rob Reiner. The story starts at university of Chicago where Harry (Billy Crystal-Analyze This) and Sally (Meg Ryan-Sleepless in Seattle) are thrown together to drive all the way to New York together. On the way they argue over sexual matters about men and women. Harry says a man and a woman can't be friends because sex always gets in the way. While Sally says it isn't true. The story takes you through their lives, when they meet after wards. Both of them are suffering with current relationshops which soon they find themselves becoming friends. Only soon after their friend ship is becoming even more... Great film, and great supports from Carrie Fisher (Star Wars) and Bruno Kirby (Good Morning Vietnam). THe movie is incredible and comes at number three on my favorite movies of all time. Highlight: Meg Ryan's fake orgasm at the deli.

Summary: You should meet Harry and Sally
Review: Something has always bothered me about romantic comedies, i.e. you rarely actually get to see the couple fall in love, you know, actually witness the growth of the bond between them. They just fall in love, but you don't really get to be there. Except when you're watching 'When Harry Met Sally'. Rob Riener made a better film from a Nora Ephron script than she ever could. No offence to her, she's just a better writer than she is director. And Meg Ryan is so much better with Billy Crystal than Tom Hanks, although I have nothing but respect for Mr.Hanks. The thing is that its not just a genuinely and consistently funny movie, it's also terribly romantic. It spans about twleve years in the lives of both Harry and Sally, from their first meeting at college. They grow and change, they like and dislike each other, they become romantically involved and then they don't. The whole thing is very engrossing and witty but never seems far fetched or fantastical. I rate this movie as a contender for cinema's best romantic comedy. Enjoy the dialogue, the charm, the music, the drama and melodrama and give praise to Rob Riener and his magnificant team who made a wonderful film. The stars have not reunited since and it is possibly for the best as it would be an extremely difficult task to repeat this kind of quality. Chemistry and genuine emtion are hard to come by in this genre, enjoy it while you can. Its available on video and DVD and is rarely edited for T.V.

Summary: Funny and veeery wise... :)
Review: Those "little" movies with not too much pretensions, that entertains, makes you think with a smile, and also laugh openly. About how men & women get close, get confused, get inlove. And also about how absurd could that be ;)

Summary: A Modern Romantic Comedy Classic
Review: This is one of the few movies I can watch over and over and never tire of seeing it. It is so true to life about relaionships betwen men and women. Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan are the perfect actors to play Harry Burns and Sally Albright, the completely opposite and mismatched couple who are actually the perfect match for each other. Billy Crystal's unique humor shines through, and Meg Ryan is the only actress who could play Sally. Bruno Kirby and Carrie Fisher are great as Harry and Sally's best friends. The dialauge between Harry and Sally is wonderfull throughout the fillm. And the diner scene is one of the funniest I've ever seen in a movie. It all but steals the entire picture. This is ,hands-down, a modern romantic comedy classic that everyone should see.
