Review: Pee Wee's Big Adventure is the most wonderful movie ever made. He uses giant toothbrushes and learns the thousands of uses of corn, he gets chased by bulls. Don't be fooled into thinking this move is just for the children.

Review: The secret word for this move is "EXCELLENT"! I think I have seen PW's Big Adventure about a gazillion times. It just keeps getting better and better. If you have not seen this movie, PLEASE see it. It is EXCELLENT (I hope you are screaming really loud). You will be very pleased. The only catch is, you must have a good sense of humor. Don't waste your time if you don't enjoy movies like: Vacation, Tommy Boy, Big Daddy, etc...you probably won't like this one....I on the other hand, have a great sense of humor and REALLY, REALLY love PW! He is the BEST! And for all you PW fans, here is one for you....."The stars at night, are big and bright.....(clap, clap, clap, clap) deep in the heart of Texas" One more thing, let's get this back into production for DVD!

Review: If you have not seen this movie, go get it. I now see that it is not being produced on VHS any longer. PEE WEE fans lets push to see it get on DVD! If I could let future generations see one comedy from the 20th century. IT would be this movie!

Review: Well, it's up against another Pee-Wee movie. Big Top Pee-Wee that is. This one is so much fun because it seems that it came from a child's imagination. It's a big kid's world. Like the whole world is Fun World. And it's funny! The humor is amazing! The show never takes itself seriously at all, and Burton had scored another hit!

Review: I have seen it first with my kids once, then we kept re-running it many times without even being bored or tired, why? because it is a movie for all ages, not only for kids. A movie that taught me and my kids a lot, about how to help and care, how to love and fear, and how to feel that you are related to something, even if it is a bike. Thank you Pee-wee for all the pleasure and enjoyment you have offered to us in this movie.

Review: Incredible movie couldn't have been better. It has every segment played to perfection. Each part manages to top the next. This movie is what 'going to the movies' should be like! 2 THUMBS UP!

Review: Obstensibly a kid's movie yet packed with sly, knowing humour. One of the funniest films I've ever seen -- a treasure chest of brilliant visual gags. A classic road movie/voyage of discovery full of genuine wonder and sneaky camp wit. How sad that Peewee Herman was later pilloried for a ludicrous obscenity charge.

Review: Leonard Maltin's just saying what he's supposed to say about a movie like this -- it's a skit stretched thin -- because that's what we've come to expect from the sorry run of the SNL mill turning hot characters into all-but-unwatchable films to make a quick buck. This is different. Just how different becomes clear upon repeat viewings. *Pee-Wee* is packed with liberatingly amusing incident. The film has its share of gags, but it's no *Airplane*-esque joke-a-thon -- the humor is character-driven, and the characters themselves (there's a lot more to this tale than Pee-Wee) are so marvelously strange yet at home in the odd America Burton et. al. have fashioned for them that the whole gloriously artificial enterprise takes on the air of an alternate pop-culture universe into which we are allowed to peer. It's as though everyone connected with the project were running on their own loopy fumes; see it once, and you'll want to breathe that rarified atmosphere again and again.

Review: I am a 24 year old woman and I am not ashamed to say that this is one of my favorite movies of all time. I have turned all my nieces and nephews on to it and they love it!! People think I am a bit strange for admitting this, but with a little persuasion, they usually admit their liking for this classic as well. Its like a cable knit sweater....
