Summary: What is it that I like so much about this movie??!
Review: It's not epic or grand, and that's part of the reason why I like it. But most of all I think I like it because it portrays how highschool life really is--hopelessly clique-y and sometimes out of touch with other people that are NOT teenagers and NOT in their clique. Sometimes this gets me down, but "Clueless" helps me laugh at this stuff. Also Cher is trying to help people and do something important in a world with sometimes trashy values. I have rented it more times than I can count, and I think it will save me money by just buying it. It makes you laugh and feel good even after the 100th time. It comes close to a 90's teenager's version of a cult classic!

Review: Clueless is truly a great movie for all teenagers! It is absolutely my favorite movie. I know it doesn't have a lot of depth or meaning, but that's why I like it. It's strictly a movie to watch when you're in a bad mood and feel like laughing. Clueless can cheer anyone up! Alicia Silverstone wonderfully portrays a sweet and hilarious character that shows you that no one, not even the richest of Beverly Hills, is perfect. Silverstone plays this character with such ease that you want to get to know Alicia, as well as Cher, and become friends with them both! Cher has a good heart and attitude...a great role-model for any teenage girl!

Summary: a sublte re-,make of Jane Austen's Emma
Review: the video was funny in itself, but I can't imagine really enjoying it without knowing what they've based it on. The reviewer that coommented on the refinement of Emma's language, should have anothr go at reading Jane Auten. Every single sentence has got a secret drawer, a double bottom, a dig, a sublesneer. but people were so dependent on society, she couldn't afford ever to say what whe really thought. Even this hidden nastiness is represented in Cueless, and while a film shouldn't be dependent upon knowledge of a book, no high school teacher should deprive her/his students of that great "one-up-manship of "getting" jokes no body else is likely to. Great film.

Review: Clueless is the sort of movie that everyone loves to criticize, but secretly enjoys. The script is hardly revolutionary, the acting is not oscar material, and the characters are mindless. But what makes this movie so great is that the characters, the story, and the situations are so exagerated that the overall movie is funny. It has a much more sophisticated kind of humor that doesn't need a laugh track or physical comedy to pull off. No, this movie makes you laugh because it makes you think. Imagine that.

Review: I saw CLUELESS and after seeing it I actually thought that the director and writers of this film were CLUELESS about making any kind of a decent film. I mean ALICIA SILVERSTONE has got to give one of the worst acting performances ever in a movie as does the rest of the lame-brained cast. So my advice is skip CLUELESS I know I wished I had!!!
