Rating: Summary: Talk about lmao!! Mr. Murphy's Finest Review: I should start out by saying that this is my all time favorite comedy. And on my top three movies list with Forrest Gump and Goodfellas.I don't even know where to start! It starts with Eddie Murphy asking his manservant (I suppose that's what he is) Oha "Since it is my 21st birthday, do you suppose I could use the bathroom alone?" Oha looks at him and says "Most amusing your highness." And that is when you know you have gotten yourself into something. It then goes to Eddie Murphy's obnoxious fiance who barks like a dog on command. And then, in New York, There are some very funny parts nut the things that always get me are the men at My T Sharp and Randy Watson. And also Reverend Brown. The special make up is unbelieveable. And the final joke about the spoon took me more than ten years to figure out. Some dunce, huh? But basically, it's your typical prince with a heart coming from a strict dad and he marries a commoner. But the thing is they fix it up so nice that you pay no attention the the basic story and fall in love with the charaters. James Earl Jones is king for crying out loud!!
Rating: Summary: Eddie does it again Review: If you loved traiding places, heres its kinds sequel, Coming to America breaks the law of comedy, awesome story, Eddie and Hall are an awesome pair, best cast ever seen, clever and funny.
Rating: Summary: A true 80's classic! Review: O.k it was stupid of me to make an 80's comedy list...and forget this one!!! This movie is funny for so many ways. The memorable scenes are: -Eric la Salle as a jerry culred boyfriend of the bosses daughter "just let your soooooooul glo" -all the baber shop scenes, -Eddie Murphy as Randy Watson who sings whitney houston and then screams SEXUAL CHOCOLATE! -Jake Steinfeld as a cab driver who screams "you dumb __" -the girl at the bar who say: "I have a secret, i worship the devil!" I could go on about this film, it is just so funny! A CLASSIC FOR ANY EDDIE MURPHY FAN!"

Rating: Summary: A Masterpiece! Review: This is one of the funniest films I've ever seen! Eddie Murphy is a prince and doesn't want a girl which is brought to him. He looks a girl for him in America and finds...This has many funny jokes! The story is good and the actors are too!
Rating: Summary: EDDIE HAS DONE IT AGAIN Review: AN AFRICAN PRINCE [EDDIE MURPHY] WHO DOESN'T WANT TO BE FORCED INTO MARRYING A GIRL, GOES TO NEW YORK TO FIND HIMSELF A GIRL THAT HE WOULD WANT TO MARRY. ONE OF EDDIE'S BEST MOVIES. IT'S VERY FUNNY AND IT'S FULL OF STARS. IT EVEN UPDATES ''TRADING PLACES'' WITH AN APPEARANCE BY RALPH BELLAMY AND DON AMECHE. AND ARSENIO HALL IS HILLARIOUS AS THE MAN WHO TRAVELS WITH EDDIE TO NEW YORK TO HELP HIM OUT. AND LOOK FOR CUBA GOODING, JR. IN THE BARBERSHOP SCENE. A MUST SEE FOR ALL EDDIE MURPHY FANS. YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED WITH WHAT THIS MOVIE TURNED OUT TO BE.
Rating: Summary: An enjoyable smiler Review: This is not a great movie, but it will make you smile a lot. The entire film is entertaining and I like the way Eddie Murphy and Arsenio worked together. There is only one boring scene that I Fast Forward through. I like this movie, but only gave it 3 stars, because no one else in the family cares for it. Not enough action for my sons, and the romance is apparently to subtle for my daughters. 3 star is for a GOOD movie, not GREAT and not WOW. As enjoyable as i find this movie, it just got knocked out of my top 10 favorite EDDIE MURPHY movies by I Spy.
Rating: Summary: A fairly solid comedy Review: I wouldn't say Murphy is at his comedic best here, but you will find a sweet, corny, overall funny flick. Murphy and Hall's several characters will keep the viewer entertained, and the "barber shop" sequences are definitely not to miss.
Rating: Summary: A CLASSIC Comedy Review: 'Coming to America' is my all time favorite movie(little known fact- Paula Abdul choreographed the African dance scene at the beginning). This is some of Eddie Murphy's best material (in addition to his SNL years and the little-advertised movie 'Showtime' with Robert DeNiro)and I love Arsenio Hall, too. The cameo by Samuel L. Jackson will have you rolling, as will the ghetto rip off McDonald's restaurant ("They've got the golden arches, we've got the golden arcs.."). Heck, it's worth it just to see Eriq LaSalle with a jerry curl! If you like Eddie Murphy or Arsenio Hall, you will LOVE this movie. I can almost guarantee it.
Rating: Summary: great! Review: This movie is sooo funny and I have a blast quoting lines from it with my friends.
