Summary: Watching and Waiting
Review: I recently just finished reading "A Walk to Remember" by Sparks. It was a touching book and hopefully, as someone else already said, the movie will do it justice. If it does, the movie is sure to be a hit.
Please note, though, if you like to see a movie and be surprised, I wouldn't recommend you read the book first. It gives away a lot of what the story line will most likely be for the movie.
I have also heard a few tracks from the new soundtrack and I have yet to be disappointed. If you loved the book or the movie, I would recommend you buy the soundtrack, also.

Review: The book was the best book by far that i have ever read. i cant wait for the movie. the story is incredible and even as i am writing this i am unable to express the feeling that this book gives you in words. i cried throughout most of it and that was a first. it is a very quick read. about a minute a page and i finished it during a 2 dat span. it is so uplifting and amazing you have to read it whether you think it will be too sad or not, it is great.

Review: hey guys!
i just wanna start out by saying that nicholas sparks is a phenomonal author! i cant even hardly put into words what i feel about this book, but ill try. "a walk to remember" is really thought-provoking. it makes you not only want to sympathize with the people in the story, but it causes you to think about your life and what you would do in these situations. jamie sullivan~the main character, has such a PASSION for life and it rubs off as you read, and makes you proud to be alive! she not only changed landons life, but she changed mine. she is such a good role model, she is something to aspire to become. i know her character is only fictionous, but if something has the power to change lives the way this book does, then i dont care if its fiction or not, this book is real to me in a way you cant really understand untill you read it. i pray that the movie does the book justice, because people should realize that the power of love has to the power to do anything. i think that the movie will live up to the book, considering sparks was consulted for the screenplay and was actually there some of the days it was filmed. if you log onto mandymoore.com or awalktoremember.com then you can veiw the trailer, and take notice that mandy moore does indeed fit the role of jamie sullivan well. im impressed with her acting so far, but we'll see how she does in her 1st starring role... READ THE BOOK... its truely a gem. :O>

Review: If this movie is anything like the book its going to be awsome. "A Walk To Remember" was written by Nicholas Sparks. Its about a boy who at first thinks that the baptist minsters daughter was weird. As did everyone. This is what the back of the book says: "Every April, when the wind smells of both sea and lilacs, Landon Carter rembers 1958, his last year at Beaufort High. Landon had dated a girlor two, and even swore that he'd been in love. Certainly the last person he thought he'd fall for was Jamie, the shy, almost ethereal daughter of the town's Baptist minister...Jamie, who was destined to show him the depths of the human heart- and the joy and pain of living." I recommend reading this book before seeing the movie. I promise it will touch you deep inside and show you true love. I hope the movie does the book justice.

Summary: i'm tracking down every mandy moore movie there'll be
Review: Even though jessica simpson is my favorite singer, mandy moore is basically the only crossover artist into movies (i know, britney spears is going to be in one in february). so this movie should be good because of her and shane west's awesome acting. It's about, i think, a guy (shane west) who falls in love with a minister(or baptist)'s daughter. i've only seen 1 preview of it so far. Plus it has brand-new songs from mandy on the soundtrack. i can't wait to get that on January 15th. The movie comes out on January 25th, if you didn't know. i really want this movie to bring mandy up to a higher level of celebrityism, which she should already be at. thanks mandy and shane for making a great-looking movie!

Review: This was an enjoyable movie to watch. Nicholas Sparks' 2nd novel to be brought to the screen, "Message in a Bottle" being the first, is not innovative, but it is touching. What I enjoyed most was seeing Jamie Sullivan (Mandy Moore) be a girl who had strong religious beliefs and was true to them. She didn't sacrifice what she thought was right to be popular, didn't lapse into anger at God as a result of her illness, and yet experienced life to its fullest including falling in love and marriage. Her character is a stunning study in faith-based lifestyle.I also enjoyed the transformation of Landon Carter (Shane West) from a troubled kid, adjusting from a divorce to a young man inspired by love to accomplish his best, becoming a medical doctor. Because of these two main characters, those who substitute negativity for depth will consider the movie shallow; and those who equate sleaze with style will consider the movie unfashionable. But in reality, it is the best of both because it's an inspiration that calls to the best in each of us. That said, it's not a perfect film. West achieves a better handle on his role, adding more nuance and dimension than does Moore. However, she certainly makes Sullivan come to life. Peter Coyote gives another concrete performance as Reverend Sullivan. Daryl Hannah does a great job as mother Cynthia Carter. Living in North Carolina, I enjoyed Mandy Moore ordering sweet tea, but wondered about the outside cafe next to the water and how many mosquitoes they had to swat shooting the romantic scene. As a theatre instructor, I was also unhappy that Landon had to be sentenced to being in a play which made it seem like punishment! Adam Shankman did a great job of direction. You have to walk into a project like this knowing that you're going to get your hits from those who want to watch cop cars collide and more graphic romance. He delivered what was needed; this film fires successfully and touches the heart. The VHS version includes the Mandy Moore music video after the feature which has universes gliding by Shane West's head. Enjoy!

Summary: A Film to Remember!!
Review: This title of the film says it all! The film is a classic love story with some traditional aspects thrown in. I have read both the book and the film several times and never grow bored of them. They have a complete chick flick tatooed across them but still have the male veiwing because every one can relate to it in one way or another. There is a very strong story line that was adapted from the 1950s novel by Nicholas Sparks. The toryline is kept practically the same except it has been brought up to date. The role of Landon Carter, the tpe of rebel in the town, was given to Shane West who was increasingly believable about his growing and undying love for Mand Moore's character, Jamie Sullivan. Jamie Sullivan is the Ministers daughter who has lost her mother and is ver much the goody-good girl of the town. The more time Landon has to spend with Jamie the moor he likes her and the moor time he leaves his friends to be with her. There is a twist in the stor that makes everone know how Jamie and Landon feel for each other. I personally would recommend that ou read the book first as it gives a better approach to the story and a better understanding and appreciatment of the depth of the story. The film is brilliant and every one should at least see it once and the soundtrack compliments th film although the film is absolutel billient on its own.

Summary: MY FAVORITE MOVIE IN THE WORLD
Review: this is my favorite movie in the world. I think i cried more than during Titic, if that's possible. I mean seriosly, i have never become more obsesed with a movie in a life. I think i loved it so much because such a great guy (not at the begining) falls for a really unpopular girl. It gives me hope as I'm sure it does other girls. I especially love when Jamie (Mandy Moore)runs from everyone laughing at her right into Landon's (Shane West) arms! i want to see it over and over again! I just loved it SO much! i want to buy the dvd, get the soundtrack, and buy a poster. I have never been this obsessed with a movie before. If any of you have any doubts, just rent it, whats there to lose? It is SUCH a great movie. In all honesty, it deserves more than 5 stars. I love how Landon changes from mean boy to nice boy. theres nothing wrong with bad boy, but there is something wrong with mean boy. I also love how he was able to fall in love with Jamie even though she was so unpopular. it makes me want a boy like him really bad for my own. Be ready to laugh, cry, and hug the movie case to your heart when your done. (lol) it is the best movie in the world!

Review: A Walk to Remember... Is the best movie. It teaches you about Love, Trust, Faith, Life, Friendship and Family..It is a Sensational movie that will have you crying... I have watched this movie 72 times plus the time i saw it at the movies with my boyfriend (who also cried a little) The book is good as well but the ending of the movie is better and less depressing then the book..If you haven't seen this movie yet you should rent it.. I promise you that you will like it..MAYBE NOT AS MUCH AS ME..but you will like it...

Summary: One of the best movies I've ever seen!
Review: "A Walk to Remember" is one of my favorite movies. It is the story of Landon Carter and Jamie Sullivan, two people who, despite their differences, fall in love. I was hesitant to see the film since I hadn't really liked the book and the movie looked a little sappy. However, I liked Mandy Moore and a friend recommended it to me (thanks for the life altering e-mail, Katie), so I went to see it. I then went on to see it four more times and then buy the soundtrack. "A Walk to Remember" could be called a little sappy, but true romantics will recognize it for the wonderful movie that it is. I am a sarcastic and somewhat cynical person, but I couldn't help loving this movie. Shane West and Mandy Moore are great together, and the movie is touching, funny, and very romantic. If you don't like it, then I think you're just jealous. The only problems in the film are the people that aren't Landon or Jamie. They're really not necessary to the film, but what can you do? Watch "A Walk to Remember" and it will change your life. We should all be so lucky as to be in two places at once...
