Summary: Shane West and Mandy Moore light up the screen!
Review: I laughed, I cried in this touching modern-day movie about what happens when love is so powerful, you will do anything to hold on. I thought the movie was so incredibly sweet! Jamie (Moore) has a list of things she wants to do (be in two places at once, get a tatoo, witness a miracle, etc.), and Landen (West) does his best to fulfill that list. He takes her to the border of the state, so she can be in two places at once. He gets her a stick on tatoo, and he becomes her miracle. Everyone cried the whole movie, and I heard people say, "If I knew a guy like that, I would marry him...NOW!" It was such a powerful, moving picture, I felt I had to share it. Go see this movie--it's worth your time!

Summary: I saw "A Walk To Remember", this is something to remember!
Review: First off, I would like to say, yesterday as I sat in the theatre, I was sorta nervous. I didn't know what it would be like, I hoped it wasn't one of those singers who HAD to make a movie ( * Ahem * Britney Spear's "Crossroads" - Cheap. ) But, I actually ENJOYED the movie. I took my girlfriend to see it, and it even brought tears to my eyes, and I don't cry that much! Mandy Moore was a good preformer, and a VERY talented young lady, she fit the role perfectly. Shane West also did a good job, his attitude kinda reminds me of me. Well, anyway, you have to check it out. It is the most beautiful pictures this year, very heart-warming, and very good. Plus, it is very good example for all of us to learn from, you know, don't judge before you know someone. That movie was definetly something I would see over and over. I saw it yesterday January 25, 2002. It was the best movie. I reccomend it. Go ahead! Check out the times it plays and GO!

Summary: Not too bad
Review: I loved the book and when I saw the movie trailer I was upest to see pop star Mandy Moore starring in it. But I knew I had to see it. It is as expected a sappy love story aimed at bringing all girls to tears. Surprisingly though Mandy Moore turns in a good performance. The pair seem to have good chemistry on screen. I am not crazy about the modernizing of the story but it still keeps it's touching elements and the belief in the power of first love and the ability of faith to touch other peoples lives. I gave it 3 stars because it didn't follow the book and there were some reality gaps. But it is sweet enough to excuse those lapses and very clean other than some course language.

Summary: a movie to remember
Review: I was one of the people who read this book before I saw the movie. And at first I was a little upset that they changed some of the stuff in the movie. But in the end it really works out so give it a chance. The movie is set in the time of today instead of the 50's but that doesn't really seem to matter too much. They did, however, change the story of the christmas play but it still serves the purpose it did as in the book. I was a little dissapointed that the father didn't have as big a part in the movie as in the book but then again his purpose still comes off strongly...especially in the end. I like the edge that Mandy Moore brings too "Jamie" she give her a little more of an attitude that didn't seem so present in the book. Whether you want to belive a pop star can act or not....Mandy Moore pulls off this roll with some really good talent. Shane West also brings amazing life to his role of "Landon" In the book you know what he's going through but in the movie you FEEL the feeligs that he has. IT's absolutely AMAZING. What are you listening to me babble on about....just go see it! If you liked the book you SHOULDN'T be dissappointed! And if you've never read the book....read the book then see the movie...or vice versa. Either way DO BOTH!

Summary: Wow...
Review: I just got back from seeing "A Walk To Remember," and, wow...this movie is so amazing. The acting is great, the story is good and the chemistry between Mandy Moore and Shane West is phenomenal. How often do you see a teen singer in a movie that's actually good? This blew me away. Oh, and another thing, if you're a guy (and I am) this movie will make you tear up halfway through and definitely at the end. I mean, I've never cried at a movie in my life, and I didn't really cry in this one, but tears will come to your eyes. Go see this movie! Mandy...you're awesome!

Summary: PREDICTABLE - YES, WELL EXCEUTED - YES!
Review: I read the book a few years ago and liked it but eventually forgot about it, but then I saw a preview for the movie and remembered it. The movie and the book are both very predictable but so moving, and I love the way the movie is slightly different from the book, I like it when the film strays slightly, though it still keeps the general idea! The story is a beautiful one and to be honest I wanted to see if Mandy Moore was up to the challenge of playing a Christian outcast - I was so surpised! If you like sappy love stories, see this movie, but read the book first!!!
* The soundtrack is also wonderful!!!

Summary: Heart-wrenching diamond of a movie!
Review: Wow! I literally had chills watching this movie. Each scene promised a better scene by the next. Doubted that it would live up its well-written book but Mandy Moore really outdid herself as Jaime Sullivan and I couldn't have picked a better Landon Carter than Shane West (smile-melter). Both did exceptionally and beautifully well.

Favorite Scene(s):

On deck at night--
Jaime: I don't ever want to leave you.
Landon: Baby, I won't ever leave you.

(Heart pounder....

Buying this movie for my collection!

Summary: I've Seen the Movie, and Baby, it's GOOD!
Review: Having never read the book, I went into the movie theater with only one expectation. Bascially, that it would [be bad]. If any of you have seen the movies I have been forced to endure over X-mas break, you would understand. But surprising enough, this movie was very good, and the characters were so sweet that I was pleasantly surprised. Normally used to teenagers NOT being considerate of one another and being immature, I can honestly say that this movie proved me wrong. My utmost favorite scene is this:

Boy: She never got her miracle.
Father: Yes she did. She got you.

Believe me, this movie is worth your time for the night. Go Watch It!

Summary: This is amazing!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I have to say that this is one of the most touching movies I have ever seen. I went with my two best friends that I had to drag there because they didn't want to see it. Mandy Moore did a amazing job and totally made you forget that she is really a Pop Princess that sang "I'm missing you like candy". Shane West is a really good actor and also not too bad looking! My friends and I cried, we laughed, and we all thought is was really wonderful. There is only one problem; I'm not sure if I want to see it again because I'm afraid that the story will lose its meaning. It was THAT good.

Summary: The one you'll remember
Review: I've read the book twice and loved it both times.I believe the reason some things in the movie were changed is because in the book when it's not dialogue it's Landon's opinion. Some of this is hard to portray in a movie. The movie looks really great and I know Mandy and Shane will pull it off. They both seem very passionate about the story and their roles.I most definitly give it 2 thumbs up!It's the one movie you'll remember!
