Summary: Teen "Mind Candy?" I think not.
Review: I had no expectations other than another mildy entertaining teen sweet predicatble "mushy" movie. Well I was totally pleased to get a very well thought out and very well acted mature approach to a subject that could have left the viewer in groaninig agony. I loved this movie. i loved the job that both Mandy Moore and Shane West did. I was actually floored by the adult treatment of this difficult subject. Now don't get me wrong, this movie is not without its faults. Like the predictability from Landon and Jamie's first encounter, "... promise you won't fall in love with me..." That aside I think that these two did an excellent job of portraying true teen love and how quickly they matured as they realized what they had. Mandy Mooore should stick to acting, and sing on the side. She has a beautiful voice but I get the feeling that she has some pretty good skills at this acting thing too. Kudos to the director for his guts to do it hisd way. Kudos to the casting director for having the guts to go with some unknowns for this flick.And the actors, what can I say other than reiterate my earlier comments, this is a great teenage love story. Although it may not have been a boxoffice smash, it is far better than a lot of the fare that I have seen this year and I am heartily recommending it to all my friends. By the way, I am 53 year old father of three boys , the youngest of whom is 20 and who recommended this movie to me. BRAVO.

Review: A Walk to Remember is such a great movie. This takes place in North Carolina. Landon Carter, popular guy gets some in the hospital. Landon, which is played by Shane West, was forced to be in communtiy service,tutoring, and the school play. Jamie Sullivan, the revenedar's daughter, is the un popular and dresses not like everyone else, would change Landons life forever. This comes all down to on whos on your side! Mandy Moore play Jamies SUllivan in A Walk to Remember. I recommend you to read the book and check out the awsome soundtrack with songs from Mandy Moore like Cry, Only Hope, and Its Gonna be Love.Also, Shane West's band, Johnny Was, sings the son'So What does it All Mean'.Perfect for someone who is in luv!!

Review: The perfect movie. That's all I have to say. It's a sad but great movie. I am about to tell you the ending so if you don't want to hear it then don't read on. I thought it was sad when you find out that she hs cancer and dies. But I liked the part when they get married. I like every part. The best summer love story I've ever seen.

Review: All I can say is WOW!!!!This movie is simply amazing.Landon Carter(played by Shane West)is the bad boy who doesn't care about anythig or anyone,but himself.Well all that changes when he gets to know Jamie Sullivan(Mandy Moore),who is the town pastor's daughter and very much a good girl.Though he has known Jamie all his life he never knew the real her.He of course finds he has strong feelings for her.All goes good at firt for Jamie and Landon until Landon finds out that Jamie has cancer.The movie is simply wonderful.Though it goes in the "I love you,but I am dying" genre,but this one actually had good actors and a good script.This movie is not to be ignored.Mandy Moore gives an amazing performance in her first starring role.Shane West finally got noticed for his perfect performance as Landon.This is one movie that will not be forgotten about.

Review: Ok, up until i was 15, the only movie I cried over was Titanic. That all changed when I saw "A Walk To Remember". You guys, this is the BEST movie for anyone...it'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry....A LOT. I DEFINATLEY recommend it!

Review: I thought I would give this movie a shot because the reviews were so good. I have to say I was very disappointed. I can see how a teenage female would like it, but I am a 30+ male and I could not relate to much. My wife also did not like the movie. The story is about a fairy tale romance between an "ordinary" girl and the "popular boy" in class. At first he ignores her, but then of course, he falls for her. There was a nice twist in the story about midway through that kept me interested, but it soon fell back to fairy tale land. I will say that the acting was good, especially by Mandy Moore.

when i saw the preview for "a walk to remember" i thought it was going to be like all the other teen romance i had seen but as the movie went on i began to fall in love with it i found myself grabbing more tissues then popcorn, the romance between landon(shane) and Jamie (mandy) was so real it was like u were watching two peoples actual lives. i fell in love with the movie because i too am a teen and i could relate so much to their situation and it touched me. so i leave u with this if u have not seen this movie already i suggest it for anyone who loves a romantic story with a bit of action and bravadoin it. thank u

Watching him watch her is one of the most heart-melting moments! Don't miss this dvd, and pick up the soundtrack. Best quote: "Find out who you are, and do it on purpose." A Walk to Remember is my favorite movie now...I have never seen a love story as romantic as this! Great for a Saturday night chick-movie! And bring Kleenex!

Summary: A very sad teenage love story
Review: A Walk to Remember is a story about a teenager, Landon, who has always been the popular, troublesome, detention boy and could care less about life. His parents have pretty much given up on him. When Jamie comes along, a girl who is very religous and goes with the plan she has made for herself, Landon begings to like her. She teaches him about life and believing in God, and they fall in love. It's a great movie, and I strongly reccomend it.

Review: I am too old to be a serious Mandy Moore fan, but I must say that with her acting and singing she has impressed me more than Brittney or Christina. I loved this movie. The acting wasn't the greatest, but the cast is so young. I loved Mandy Moore. She came through as very pure, very believable. The handsome Shane West was also a plus-and of course, so was the great soundtrack. It was refreshing to see a teen movie that was not all sex and violence. I was sweet, and romantic. I cried in my fiance's arms for hours after I had watched it. It was so good I had to own it, and enjoy it over and over again. 5 stars.
