Review: All the characters were stupid and unrealistic. They were either demonized or "drop dead good" and what was the point of blowing all those damn people up anyway? I didn't think the movie was very good and I think some very good actresses wasted their time.

Summary: This movie is hilarious
Review: I watched this movie with my 12-year-old daughter. We laughed so hysterically during parts of it that we had to rewind and see what we'd missed. The scenes with the brothers who owned the hardware store are priceless. The movie nails beauty pageants for all they're worth. Being a woman of a certain age, I adored the Ellen Barkin/Allison Janney characters and their rapport. They were a scream, and both actresses seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. The running joke about being on "Cops" is a blast. If you have a quirky sense of humor and appreciate satire, you will definitely enjoy this movie.

Summary: One star, and I'm generous at that.
Review: Have you ever thought to yourself "Is it over yet?". Well throughout this movie I was plauged with thoughts of everything from the terrible acting to my laundry. The performances by heavyweight Kirstie Alley was less than mediocre (but I'm blaming a bad script) while performances by Kirsten Dunst and Denise Richards were dull at best. Put all of that in with a bad plot, terrible writing, and an ending that should've stopped twenty minutes sooner, and you have Drop Dead Gorgeous. However, there was one entertaining aspect to this terribly boring movie, and that was the performance of Will Sasso. I think his characters slapstick comedy was the only funny part of this "comedy" In my advice, don't bother. But don't take MY Word for it...if you don't wanna!

Review: Drop Dead Gorgeous is awesome! I discovered (sadly) that chiks appruciate the comedy more than guys do, therefore making it a hilarious chik flik! The actresses give a very good and realistic performance. If you are a girl who needs a laugh I would so buy it!

Summary: Bitingly, viciously funny
Review: The mysterious murders of Mount Rose's youth are incidental. The more engrossing aspect of this movie is its merciless portrayal of small-town politics and hypocrisy. I've read a lot of comparisons to Blair Witch, but this is more in the vein of Spinal Tap or Waiting for Guffman. You will swear you grew up with these characters. Unfortunately, Kirstie Alley falls a bit flat. However, the other cast members more than compensate with truly genuine and fresh performances. Allison Janney in particular is a scream! I highly recommend this one.

Review: This is a movie that was hysterical to my girlfriend who has participated in such things. To me though this had few funny moments and lots of waiting for the next laugh. Wouldn't recommend it unless you need sleep!

Review: Absolutely one of the funniest movies I've seen since Blazing Saddles! If you don't have an "off-kilter" sense of humor...this movie is not for you. Watch it twice so you can see everything you missed the first time because you were laughing so hard!This is a classic...buy it!...add it to your collection of "Raising Arizona", "The Big Lubowsky", Fargo, Barton Fink, etc.

Review: there are two words I use to describe this movie-shocking and hilarious...it was an absolute laugh riot and I couldn't believe all of the crude humor....my jaw dropped open and I couldnt believe what I was seeing...absolutely hilarious and original...filmed in a blair witch style doecumentary...before that film came out! Funny as hell and worth seeing...
