Summary: What a Magical Movie!
Review: I loved this movie! Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman were absolutely spellbinding! It was nice to finally watch something about witches who aren't trying to wreck havoc in the world. If you haven't seen it, go out and rent the movie because the ending is just magical!!!

Summary: Good magic and great cast.
Review: The cast works well together. The storyline is sound and interesting. Lots of emotion and definitely a chick flick. Would recommend to all my friends.

Summary: Wonderful! Perfect Movie for Perfect Enjoyment
Review: This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I will be watching it over and over again. (Stevie Nicks should have had a part in the movie besides her music-It fits her)

Summary: Excellent Movie. Will buy it when it comes out on video.
Review: Sure provokes a lot of thought. The movie was very entertaining and have rented it several times. Look forward to buying it when it comes out on video. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman were super. The aunts were fantastic. And everyone should have chocolate in the morning. There are a few men I would like to cast a spell on too. Oh what fun. Remember heather and rosemary in your yard. This movie was an enjoyable movie. We need more movies that are easy and fun to watch.

Summary: Is 1 Star the Lowest I Can Give It?
Review: Even Satan would get bored watching this dumb story of two witch-sisters and their problems with the men in their lives. This movie seems like it's trying to be a comedy, a horror movie, a romance and a "chick-flick" all rolled into one, yet it's never funny, scary, or romantic and the "chick-flick" elements are all rehashed Hope Floats-Mermaids stuff that we've seen before. The last scene where the movie attempts to turn a satanic ritual into a Tupperware party is both laughably stupid and disturbing in its handling of demonism. If you like original, interesting movies , don't waste your time with this one.

Summary: I JUST HAD TO SAY SOMETHING
Review: I just had to write something to smother that review which is now right below me. I am not one of those people who doesn't want other people to have different opinions, I just don't want anyone wanting to watch PRACTICAL MAGIC to get the wrong impression of the movie. This movie is very good, and is not some stupid, mainstream Hollywood movie. It is fun, magical, and has a good feeling. Who wants to watch the Craft now with its basic storyline written and portrayed a thousand times over, its poor acting, music, and directing? PRACTICAL MAGIC is a fantastic film.

Summary: Smashing Baby
Review: This romantic comedy starring Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock is enough to get you on the edge of your seat. It was a light comedy, which is a change for me. I'm usually watching action-packed horror movies. Both Kidman and Bullock did superb, worth Oscar performances. If you are in the mood to have watch a movie that makes you laugh, cry, and become scared, this is it!!!

Summary: Another misstep from Sandra Bullock.
Review: Someone needs to tell Sandra that not all good movies are romantic comedies. This one adds a bit of a twist, but basically it's just a by-the-numbers jilted lovers movie. The witchcraft aspect is enticing, but they do not go nearly into the depth with this one as they did with "The Craft." "Practical Magic" is a hackneyed concept rehashed once again, simply a star vehicle for Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. We can't really blame them though. Whenever they try to make something else they walk away with "Speed 2," "The Net" or "The Peacemaker." "Practical Magic" is nearly unforgiveable, albeit with an OK ending involving raising the evil dead. It doesn't save this. The only reason this movie was made was thanks to the incomprehensible success of ABC's insipid "Sabrina the Teen-Age Witch." For a more interesting witch movie, check out "The Craft." As far as relationship movies go, just stop watching movies for cinema's sake. They're getting extremely old.

Summary: I pity anyone who cannot connect with this movie...its great
Review: Being a witch myself, this movie touches most of what I believe. I feel sorry for anyone who does not believe or cannot connect. Some of the the things were exagerated, but most of it was true.. I loved this movie...
