Review: This movie was by far the worst Ben Stiller movie EVER. The movie was not even stupid funny. I never laughed through the whole thing. I don't recommend this movie to anyone. To sum it up in one word it's simply terrible

Summary: He's a male bimbo...He's a Mimbo
Review: No one but Ben Stiller could have pulled this one off, along with fellow crazy comedians who also have no shame, Jerry Stiller (Ben's real life father), Will Farrell, Owen Wilson, and Christine Taylor (Ben's real life wife...who so successfully brought Marsha Brady back to the screen). Their zaniness feeds off each other, creating a truly stupendously dumb movie. Of course, dumb in a good way.

It's like watching a streaming line of `dumb' jokes, one right after the other, all put together in a silly story that manages to hold itself together, thanks to the comedic genius of Ben Stiller. Look for the stellar supporting roles from David Duchovny, Milla Jovovich, and Jon Voight, along with Cameos by too many famous faces to mention.

Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) is a male model, recently beat out of his crown of "Male Actor/Model of the Year" by Hansel (Owen Wilson). He takes a job from Mugatu (Will Ferrell), who is a famous fashion designer known for exploiting the third world labor force, in order to model his latest design line, `Derelicte'. But Mugatu has plans to use Derek to kill the Malaysian Prime Minister, and brainwashes Derek to complete his mission. Reporter Matilda Jeffries (Christine Taylor) figures out what Mugatu and his assistant Katinka (Milla Jovovich) are up to, and sets out to save Derek.

This movie is absolutely hilarious, a dizzying glimpse into a truly vapid mind, with visual jokes aplenty peppering the zany dialogue. Cell phones, pageants, coal mining, funerals, gasoline frolicking, patented "looks", hairstyles, day spas (check out Andy Dick as Olga the Masseuse, this scene is worth the price of the movie itself!), there is nothing too sacred for this movie to make fun of.

If you are looking for a ridiculous vacation from reality, sit down and give Zoolander a watch. Warning, this movie may cause stupidity. Enjoy!

Summary: Limited Appeal
Review: If you are a dedicated follower of fashion, Zoolander might be of special interest to you. Die Hard Ben Stiller fans might appreciate this as well. However, the rest of us will find this as a middle of the road comedy that plays off the joke that models are self absorbed and quite stupid.

I will admit that Ben Stiller's facial expressions and speech patterns are quite comical. The pacing is pretty decent and the gasoline fight scene is totally off the wall. However the cyber effects get a bit annoying after a while.

Try something else by Ben Stiller as the laugh appeal is limited.

Summary: Please keep your arms in the car and your brain turned off.
Review: For all the people who call this movie stupid, it is. This is not a movie to watch with your brain running. It is, however, very funny. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson play up the dumb model joke as far as they can without being obnoxious ("Merman...MERMAN!"), but it is Will Ferrel who steals the show as Jacobin Mugato, poodle and all. ("Obey my dog!") I would have casted the part of Matilda differently, as Christine Taylor is rather bland. Still, all in all it is a hilarious movie worth seeing, just don't search for a deep, profound meaning. Oh, and remember that even male models can die from a freak gasoline fight accident.

Summary: If you don't like it.....watch it again.
Review: This movie grows on you. I thought it was just ok the first time, but upon further review I thought it was hilarious. Watch out for the gas station scene and the walk-off among others. Ben Stiller's facial expressions are classic and I find that Owen Wilson is always an excellent sidekick.
