Summary: super insult to your intelligence!
Review: Oh My God! What garbage. Walked out after one hour only because
I was sure it would get better! It didn't. I would not have given
it one star but that was the lowest choice.

Summary: Almost as funny as it is stupid...
Review: "Super Troopers" is almost as funny as it is stupid, and I've got to tell you, it's a pretty funny movie. It's the first movie that's made me laugh out loud repeatedly in the theater since "Best in Show".

The screenplay is almost non-existant, but as Bill Murray once said in "Meatballs," "it just doesn't matter." What makes this quirky movie work is the unresistable funniness of its cast. Kevin Heffernan, as Farva, is particularly funny. In his better moments, he's almost as naturally funny as "SCTV"-era John Candy. And that's saying a lot.

My all-time favorite comedies are the great ones of the late seventies and early eighties I grew up with as a kid--"Stripes," "Caddyshack," "Vacation," "Animal House," "Porky's," etc. I saw some of the wild exuberance of those movies in "Super Troopers".

Yeah, it's a stupid movie, but if you've got the right kind of sense of humor, it's a stupid movie that will make you laugh...very hard. What's better than that?

Summary: Super-Duper Fun
Review: The second 1980s farce throwback in the last few months, Super Troopers actually stands on its own as a better-than-average comedy. From the sketch comedy group Broken Lizard (known on public-access stations on the coasts), Super Troopers follows the misadventures of five Vermont State Troopers as they attempt to avoid being shut down by the state. Of course, that would spell the end of their freewheeling law enforcement, which consists mostly of harassing speeders, searching lovely German suspects, and smoking stuff from the evidence locker. There's humor of all kinds here, and most of it is fairly smart - for example, the reference to "Afghanistanimation," a cartoon designed to convince people of the Taliban's greatness (and to disguise a drug ring in the US). The leading lady (Marisa Coughlan), who manages to rise above the stereotypical women's role in these flicks, is an actress to watch in the future. It's a little weak around the edges (the opening and closing sequences particularly), but it's still worth the price of admission. Fans (and makers) of Zoolander and Little Nicky take note: this is how comedy is supposed to be done.

Summary: Dumb Fun
Review: Wow, 2nd review. I really can't say too much about thsi film, but that it is dumb fun. Some parts are downright hillariious such as the very beginning of the film in which two of the troopers terrorize 3 dopeheads. I don't want to go into too much detail let's just say that one of the dopeheads eats a bag of marijuana and a bag of shrooms before they are pulled over. Basicallty the film follows a very simple plot line, The Super Troopers, also know as the Highwaty Patrol have an ongoing rivalry with the Locla Police Department, and let me say this is a bad rivalry they get into fights quite often throughout the film and over quite trivial stuff. The Tropopers themselves are an interesting group. the Lt. played by Jay Chandrasekhar is the most level headed one of the bunch, which contains some stereotypical characters, a rookie, a lady's man, the idiot, and the butthead. They go through some entertaining stuff relying more on physical humor than whitty dialogue, attacking the guy at the fastfood counter, etc. Good dumb fun. However, and this is a spoiler, I did find one piece to be disturbing they come across a moble home and when they open it there is a dead woman who is face first in a dog dish. Instead of being serious about this matter they get into a fight with the local police department, and a man even has a fight with a pig in the home. A decent, fun movie over all with a very loose plot. worth seven dollars to watch though.

Summary: as funny as american cinema gets
Review: This is one of the funniest and greatest films in modern American cinema. i love at the beginning when the cops tell the stoners to pull over and theyre like 'we cant pull over any farther'. you have to see that part to appreciate it cause once you do you will be using that line for years. the guy in the back trippin out cause he ate the whole bag of pot and shrooms. hes like 'the snozberries taste like snozberries'. great line.
best character is farva. hes on radio duty cause he pulled over a bus full of kids and he attacked them after they threw something at him from the window.
top 2 farva moments:
1) farva asks for a 'liter cola' and the stoner kid at the burger place is like we dont have those and when farva gets his burger and drink he tears off the game piece to see if he won and theres a whole and all the drink falls on farva and he beats the kid up and he gets suspended from duty.
2) farva brings everyone coffee during the meeting and for the rookie he writes 'stupid rookie' on his cup and puts a bar of soap inside. before he came in the rookie was singing the vermont highway patrol officer song and farva missed it so when he comes in hes like 'sing it again rookie bia*ch'.
anyways this movie rules and you should buy it cause it never gets old.

Summary: This Entertaining Low Budget Comedy is a Hit.
Review: In a Small Vermont town, A Bunch of Slackers Police Highway Patrolmen (Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter & Erik Stolhanske) decide to pull off Pranks an Unsuspecting People on the Highway, since it's their last week on the Job. But when they find the Opportunity to solve a Real Crime that involves Drugs and Murder. These inept Highway Patrolmen have their last chance to save their Jobs before another Vermont's Patrol Jerks take it over.

Directed by Jay Chandrasekhar (Club Dread) made a low-brow, highly funny comedy. It's shows that Chandrasekhar wanted to make a smart Police Academy comedy with doses of Farrelly Brothers humour and it's works. This independent comedy did well in theaters in the winter of 2002 to find better success on Video. While the lead cast are Unknowns, the film also starts in Supporting Roles are:Brian Cox, Daniel Van Bargen and Marisa Coughlan. DVD has an sharp anamorphic Widescreen (1.85:1) transfer and an terrific-Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. DVD has two commentaries by the director, cast/writers of the film. DVD also has Deleted Scenes with/without Commentaries by the director and cast/writes, featurette and trailers. Do not miss this hilarious comedy that becomes a instant Cult Classic. Written by the Broken Lizard gang, which they are the five lead cast of the film. Lynda Carter from the TV's Wonder Woman fame has a Cameo here. Grade:A.

Summary: I lost my kidney because of this one
Review: ok first of all if your going to review anything at all, than maybe you should get the name of the moive right. but i wont mention any name couph Hadi. With that out of the way we can begin to understand just why this movie was so great
1. they all pass for cops
2. It pokes fun at the cops of the real world and no one likes them.
3. last of all its just funny
No this movie will probably not change your life or make you think deep thoughts but its funny as hell. thats exactly what the purpose of the moive was right? to make us the crowd sitting in a theatre stuffing candy down our faces to bust a gut. dont take it for what its not is what it boils down to in the end.

Summary: Average troopers
Review: This movie was written and performed by a comedy troupe known as Broken Lizard which explains why the movie seems like a series of sketches pasted together with filler material. The guys play very bad highway patrolmen who are trying not to lose their jobs. The jokes are scattershot. Some will make you laugh out loud until you can't breathe, some will emit a chuckle and many others will just sit there and go nowhere. This is a decent comedy but not one that will have you laughing non-stop.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I'll have a liter of Cola
Review: This movie is hilarious. I don't understand how there possibly can be 15 one star reviews for this movie. IF u don't find this movie funny what movies do you find funny. i just dont know. Anyway this movie is genius and it keeps you laughin the whole time. It also has one of the funniest opening seens ever. The one liners in it are second only to Napoleon dynamite. So if you want a hilarious movie taht never gets old you shoiuld try out Super Troopers because unless you have no sense of humor you shuld enjoy it
