Summary: Are the Sanctions Over, or What?
Review: Truly magnificent stories, GMBC and GMVC2. They should both be on DVD now, I'd buy the set in an instant. Doesn't it tell the owners anything when you're lucky to find these as used VHS for $20 each? The demand is real.
Why, because they are both a delight. You can suspend a little disbelief if you must- few movies require none of that- but if you never saw these you will laugh yourself silly and still end up thinking.
For the record I lived in the RSA for a while. And I do NOT know that rhinoceri (sp?) actually stamp out fires. But I know because I saw it that everything else acts just about exactly as depicted, including the people. Well, actually I would expect them to call a bush that snags skin and underwear a 'just now' bush rather than a 'wait a bit,' but hey, it's a big country.
Get on the bandwagon. DEMAND this in DVD. It is time.

The Gods must be Crazy is one of the best movies ever made. It has a great storyline, endearing, believable characters, non-stop humor, and brilliant observations of mankind and society.
This movie is a must-see. It's one of the most educational movies out there. It's also perfect for family viewing, with only comedic violence and no vulgarity. I don't know anyone who's ever objected to this movie or failed to admire it.

Review: The Gods Must be Crazy is a fantastic foreign film that is very funny but in a sophisticated way and there is nothing overly silly about it and I loved the documentary style to this classy classic film and I highly recommend it and hope it is transferred to DVD and also the delightful sequel.

Review: When I first saw this years ago, I fell over laughing. It is not a run-of-the-mill comedy . . . unique and funny. Starts out a little slow, but hang in there and it's very good. The second one is just as good as the first. I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a funny, light movie, with no "agenda" but entertainment.

Summary: Very funny movie
Review: This is a very funny movie which pokes fun at religion, sexism, moderism and war. The poor Bushman who finds a coke bottle which fell out of an airplane must travel to the end of the world to get rid of this evil thing. This evil thing is believed to come from God and causes evil things to happen to people who have it. On the way of getting rid of it he happens to meet a man who has hard luck with woman. (One of the best scenes in the movie is when his four wheeled drive jeep gets stuck up a tree). He also meets a strange woman who has trouble with men. At the end of the movie these three people end up saving children from a group of soldiers who want to overthrow a government. How they save the children is also funny.
