Summary: Check out the film that "SHOCKED" America!
Review: Well, it didn't really shock them, but a whole lot of families that religiously bought tickets to Don Knotts' films were taken aback by this very funny take on the Hugh Hefner story, written by the creator of Phil Silvers' "Bilko" show. Proof of the audience's leeriness over this film was evident in Don's follow-up film, "How to Frame a Figg" -- the ad campaign made sure to mention that it was a film you could take the whole family to. Let's hope Universal offers a box set of Don's "Classic Five": "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken," "The Reluctant Astronaut," The Shakiest Gun in the West," "The Love God?," and "How to Frame a Figg." AND PLEASE, UNIVERSAL STUDIOS: LETTERBOX THIS BEAUTIFUL-LOOKING FILMS!!!!
