Summary: Maybe "nobody's perfect"... but this movie comes close
Review: This has got to be the most hysterically funny movie ever made. I almost got carpet burns from rolling on the rug laughing. Billy Wilder's direction packs a laugh a minute, and shooting the movie in black and white takes us right back into 1929 Prohibition. Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon are hilarious as the drag team of Josephine and Daphne on the lam from witnessing the St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago, and who else but Marilyn Monroe could have played the airhead Sugar Kane? As if this trio wasn't perfection itself, Joe E. Brown almost steals the movie right out from under them as the superannuated casanova who falls in love with "Daphne"; maybe he/she is not all Joe E. Brown supposes, but so what; as Brown says, in the most devastating punchline ever written, "Nobody's perfect". This movie is going to keep viewers cracking up for generations to come.

Summary: Marilyn's biggest hit
Review: This movie is Monroe's biggest hit, even though she's not in the film for the first half hour, but its worth the wait. When you see her walking on the train, pass Jack and Tony dressed in drag, the fun starts. Marilyn was three months pregnet while making this movie. She really wanted this baby, but lost it while making the film. Her performance was one of her best. Jack Lemmon is fantastic in the film.He was up for an Oscar, and should have won.He really gets into the drag part.Even when he gets engaged,he's making wedding plans. I did't care for Tony Curtis's remark about kissing Marilyn. He said he would rather kiss Hitler. She would take along time making sure her scene was perfect,so the other actor had to make sure everyone of his perfomances was the best because they would keep her take.Billy Wilder's,Some like it Hot is one of his biggest films, and Monroe's also. If I was only to have five movies, this would be one of them. The best part of the film is the end, when Joe E Brown doesn't take no for a anser from Jack, even when he takes his wig off,and says,"I'm a Man."I still bust a gut at Jack Lemmon's eyes when Brown says,"That's OK,noboddy's perfect.

Summary: Fun to watch over and over again....
Review: Let's face it, the little lines and innuendoes are what makes this funny even if you've seen it time and time again....one of the best parts is when the "Friends Of Italian Opera" get together and honor Spats...funny, funny, funny! And although Marilyn was in near breakdown status, she was simply awesome in the looks department...the patter between Marilyn and Shell Millionaire Curtis on Joe E. Brown's borrowed yacht is a riot...heck, in fact, I think I'll put it on now, I could use a coupla good laughs!

Summary: DYNAMITE COMBO!
Review: Musicians Jerry (Jack Lemmon) and Joe (Tony Curtis), witnesses to a gangland killing, don feminine attire to escape the Chicago mob. On the train to Florida with an all-girls' band, they meet Sugar Kane (Marilyn Monroe) and on arrival in Miami they meet a "rich" millionaire (Joe E. Brown). Two very unusual romances blossom between this quartet! I first saw this movie when I was 12. Jack Lemmon has been my favorite actor ever since! He's a riot! Wait till you see him on his date! The story takes place in a beautiful 20's-style woodframe hotel. Be ready for a million laughs when you watch Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis, Marilyn Monroe and Joe E. Brown in "Some Like It Hot!"

Summary: Some Like it Hot.
Review: Some Like It Hot really is a classic. Its so funny and so sincere, how could it not be?

Marilyn Monroe remains one of the most amazing women ever in my opinion, and its films like this that help her stay that way. Her performance as Sugar is funny in a tragic sort of way and she can more than hold her own with the likes of Tony Curtis.

Jack Lemmon is halarious as Jerry and his scenes with Joe E Brown,as Osgood, are a work of genius. One of my favourites is when Jerry returns from a date with Osgood and announces that they are planning a June wedding, much to the disbelieve of Curtis' Joe.

I love Some Like It Hot because its a sweet, harmless, fun movie and I know Ill never get tired of it.

Summary: Funny, but Not Always Funny Ha-Ha
Review: Some Like It Hot

Despite the presence of Marilyn looking as beautiful as ever, this movie is too hard to follow. The songs are a lot of fun, though, and the timing was sometimes perfect! But there are so many characters, doing so many things, that this reviewer sometimes forgot who was who. It's also hard to tell if the movie has anything to say about the freakish cross-dressing that is prevelant here. Overall, it's a good movie, but probably not appropriate for children or Christians.

Summary: "Some Like It Hot" is Truly Cool!
Review: This movie is among cinema history's finest. Marilyn Monroe's comedic abilities shine, proving she was far more than a beautiful face. Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis play off each other so well, you wish they could work together forever. Joe Brown's antics with "Daphne" (Lemmon) are enough to make this a classic. The dialogue sparkles from the get-go, and the direction is first rate. I recommend this movie to anyone who feels like laughing out loud for two hours straight. You won't be disappointed!

Summary: Fantastic movie!
Review: This has got to be one of the cleverest movies ever made! The comic timing is tremendous; the pacing is wonderful, and Jack Lemmon's comic timing is fantastic. He is absolutely hilarious. Everyone is good in this movie, but Jack Lemmon is totally brilliant. I have seen this movie a dozen times, and I still laugh wildly every time I see it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: You can watch it over and over
Review: I'm 23 and have enjoyed this movie since I was 11. I lost count of how many times I've seen it. It is the funniest movie ever made. Everyone, no matter how young or old, should at least see it once. It is full of comedies, surprises, and romance. I wish movies nowadays are similar to this movie. What more can I say, except go and get the movie to view it. Trust me, you won't regret it.
