Rating: Summary: The best of all of Elvis's movies!!! Review: Thanks to Ann-Margret's involvement, "Viva Las Vegas" ranks as one of my favorite musicals...and my favorite of all of Elvis' movies. The songs are just great (check out "C'mon Everybody"), and the Vegas setting is just splendid! I must have seen this film at least 30 times and still get a big kick out of it!!!

Rating: Summary: Ann Margaret rules my world Review: Ooh la la. Buy this film to oogle at Ann Margaret's legs and bosum because there isnt much else here- no plot that I can distinguish.
Rating: Summary: Viva Las Vegas Review: This DVD is good quality, well compressed with great color . The sound is also well done, with all songs sounding good. A good DVD as it has the movie in both Widescreen and Standard.
Rating: Summary: Elvis & Ann-Margret -- What a Winning Pair! Review: I always thought that Elvis' 1957 "Jailhouse Rock" was about as good as a film musical gets. Then came the 60s and "Viva Las Vegas". This film gets 5 stars for total entertainment! From the light boy-meets-girl formula to the snappy tunes, "Viva Las Vegas" is a winner. The absolute best scene is the fantastic choreography performed to the title tune. Wow! -- The soundtrack is excellent, featuring songs like "What's I Say", "The Yellow Rose Of Texas" and "The Lady Loves Me". -- Elvis Presley will always be "The King" to me. I think as a Rock & Roll Legend he stands unchallenged. Whatever he may have lagged in acting ability, he made up for in sheer "presence" and ability to do what he did so well: entertain! This film is tops in my book!
Rating: Summary: king and queen of vegas Review: The very best Elvis Presley movie I have ever seen!!!! Ann-Margret scorches the film in the song "The Lady Loves Me" with Elvis. The undeniable chemistry only adds to the pleasure of this movie. It has a cute story line and co-stars who are actually in love. Amazing and keeps you dancing with an excellent soundtrack.
Rating: Summary: Elvis heads to Las Vegas in Viva Las Vegas Review: Lucky Jackson (Elvis Presley) is a race car driver. He is on his way to L.A. to pick up a motor. The movie opens, when we meet Lucky Jackson in a hotel casino. He meets Count Elmo Mancini (Cesare Danova) another race driver who races mostly in Europe. Who decides to race in the United States for the first time. While looking under Elmo Mancini's race car and young woman comes up to them, thinking he repaires cars. In L.A. his car repair names Shorty (Nicky Blair) is waiting for him but leaves when a customer tries to buy the motor. And heads for Las Vegas. Elmo fixes the young woman car. And instead of going to L.A. Elmo and Lucky go on a long search for her. Thier search gets them to the Lone Star State or Texas. Back at the hotel he finds her and finds out she is the swimming teacher. Her name is Rusty Martin (Ann-Margret). Rusty pushes Lucky off the hotel diving board and into the hotel pool. Lucky loses the motor money and he owes the hotel money too and he and Shorty take waiter jobs at the hotel. When Elmo Mancini sees Lucky as a waiter he says, "What's this some kind of American joke?" And soon he gets tired of Lucky Jackson as a waiter and pays of thier debt.
Rating: Summary: How can this video not be available?! Review: How can "Viva Las Vegas" not be available? It was the only good movie musical by the King (well, not counting "Jailhouse Rock"), it featured his only good screen chemistry (with Ann-Margret), and the songs and choreography were actually a lot of fun. I'm amazed that the studio isn't producing this video.
Rating: Summary: Widescreen Version Is Not Anamorphic Review: Quality is OK but other Elvis DVD's are all "Enhanced For Widescreen TV's" e.g Jailhouse Rock. So why is'nt this one? This refers to 65096
Rating: Summary: Great, historical movie Review: I loved this movie. It was funny, and inticing. It also showed what old Las Vegas is like. One of Elvis's best films
