Review: I was in a big hurry when I ordered this and didn't read the reviews--I'll never make that mistake again! THIS IS NOT THE VERSION YOU KNOW AND LOVE FROM TV. It is just a reading of the book, with the original illustrations, and is much less fun-- the Grinch is meaner, there are none of the hysterical interactions with his poor dog and there's NO MUSIC. What a disappointment.

Review: I wish I had read the other reviews before buying this video. I was really looking forward to the animated version and instead watched still pages out of the Dr. Seuss book with Walter M. reading from the book--it seemed amatuerish...and boring. A real disappointment. Next time I'll be careful about what version of a video I'm buying.

Review: I'm 20 years old and just watched this video for the first time. It was fun, adorable, and had me laughing the whole way through! I definitely plan to send copies to my younger cousins in Paris!

Review: No it's not an imposter, just the original version of the book, stills with narration. If you want the real thing make sure to get the 1966 version with Boris Karloff doing the Grinch and narration. I enjoy both versions very much and have both versions on tape although the Boris Karloff is by far my favorite. Merry Grinchmas!
