Summary: The one that started it all
Review: If you're all about sound and picture quality, than this DVD isn't for you. Spend the few extra bucks to buy the millennium edition, you won't regret it. This DVD is just another sad video tape print with lines and scratches, film bouncing all over the place, terrible edit cuts, etc....
While the movie may be a horror classic, there definately is no point in releasing a film on DVD unless they plan to clean up the print enough to where it appears new. I used to watch Psycho with all the crackling and lines and such, but when I bought the DVD I was amazed at how much the print was cleaned up. DVD's should have more thought that go into them before the final product is released. I guess that's what I get for being cheap and buying the $7.00 way out.
