Summary: Mid - 60s Eroticism at its best.
Review: I guess I should start off with this is NOT pornography or obscene. The plot ? Simple enough: It follows the adventures of two (beautiful) ladies, who are prostitues..Or actully, they resemble more along the lines of "call girls".

One is from Paris, the other from Munich. The film itself is actully beautiful to look at - The city lights of these areas have never looked so exotic. The black & white photography just adds to the mood, along with the (dated) 60s soft jazz sound - BUT IT WORKS !

As far as the sex/nudity goes, there is nothing here that can't be shown later at night on your local PBS station. There are flashes of nudity here & there, but its not exploitive. It shows women mostly as bodies of ART, and not sex objects. The sex in the film is very subtle, but I seem to think that with an imagination, it becomes VERY erotic.

This film is actully very tender and deals with issues that COULD be obscene, but in this film - they are handled with care.

Unfortunately, some of the acting is sub-par, the dubbing is fair...I have seen worse..MUCH worse. But if your into the early 60s B&W moody, artistic, film noir style (with a touch of eroticism) - THIS IS FOR YOU.

Very well done - I just wish more erotic film directors would follow the same path, as this gem of a movie. It's never cruel, rude or discusting.
