Summary: Also disappointed by DVD quality
Review: I was excited by this movie coming out on DVD because this is a wonderful movie but the quality of the DVD picture and sound was awful. The content of this movie is 5 stars, as far as I am concerned, but the quality of the DVD is 1 or 2 stars.

Summary: A Tired Drawing Room Comedy
Review: I'm yawning. The movie would seem to have everything going for it: Two gorgeous people playing two gorgeous people, and the two are Bergman and Grant; a director in Donen who could do great stuff; skilled second leads. I think drawing room comedies were just running out of steam by the time this movie was made. I couldn't find much interest for the contrived romantic complications of two wealthly, sophisticated, attractive, extremely well groomed high society types. So much of the plot is obviously contrived. So many of the misunderstandings seem be foolishly reacted to by two supposedly smart, sophisticated people. Wish Donen and the writer had made the movie with some sort of intrique for the two of them to work on together...kind of a Notorious romance combined with a Charade lightness.

Summary: Indiscreet is Indescribable!
Review: Indiscreet is one of my favorite Cary Grant movies of all time!
Ingrid Bergmand & Cary Grant are at their all time most charming selves in this light-hearted romantic comedy. Bergman, who has shown her talents in suspenseful thrillers such as Notorious, is surprisingly outstanding in comedy! Will Anne (Bergman) who plays a famous stage actress and Phillip (Grant) an international financier get together? In the course of finding out, you will be delighted with the amusing interactions & banter which so accurately characterize men & women in romantic relationships. Ingrid Bergman is stunning and stylish and her apartment is to die for. Grant is debonair and charming as always. The lines in this movie are timeless! A favorite scene includes watching Grant dance with Bergman at a ballroom type function. This is a movie you can watch again & again and love even more each time.

Summary: romantic comedy at its finest
Review: Ingrid Bergman and Cary Grant make a delicious screen team in the equally-delicious comedy INDISCREET.

An international actress returns to her home only to find herself relentlessly pursued by a suave playboy. She finds herself falling in love with him, even though he admits to being a married man.

However, she discovers his ruse, and her madcap plans for a sweet revenge come close to destroying the relationship.

With Phyllis Calvert and Cecil Parker.

Summary: Cute, witty, and totally under-rated -- a great date movie.
Review: Ingrid Bergman Cary Grant interract beautifully in this full color 1958 classic. Set in London, it is sophisticated and wonderfully entertaining.

Summary: Great Romantic Comedie
Review: Ingrid Bergman shines and Cary Grant is his usual handsome devilish self (think An Affair to Remember) in this romanitc comedy about a man who only pretends to be married to get the girl. Grant is charming, and Ingrid Berman, as a woman who tries not to fall in love but can't help but, is great. Although the movie starts out on the premise that the whole relationship is a scam, don't worry, there is througouhly satisfying ending.

This movie was thoroughly enjoyable to watch, and is comparable to the best romantic comedies of today. Definitely a movie to see!

Summary: Ingrid Bergman Was Charming
Review: Ingrid Bergman was particularly charming in this film. In some ways, Cary Grant's character was a bit of a cad, but of course he was charming as usual! The chemistry between Bergman and Grant was very obvious. The part where she tries to get even with her love for lying to her is very amusing and will have you in stitches! She bites off a little more than she can chew, but then gets her heart's desire in the end. I found the first part of the movie to drag a little, but hang in there, because it is an interesting story once it gets going.

Summary: second collaboration of grant and berman wonderful
Review: one of the most romantic movies ever, and not just in a chick flick way, but the old fashion style of romance. the chemistry between grant and bergman is superb, no less than their first encounter in hitchcock's Notorious. love this movie.

Summary: Also disappointed by DVD quality
Review: The movie is a must see for any Bergman/Grant fan. I received this DVD as a gift but was sorely disappointed at the quality of the film not the content. The picture quality was poor and distracting. What a shame this wonderful movie was treated this way. I would recommend finding a good vhs copy, if you wish to purchase this movie.
