Summary: Italian Spaghettis the Best & Real Western
Review: Guys ever tought how the West was ? Don't buy John Wayne's movies cuz they are clown movies ... The real western is CLINT EASTWOOD the man with no name ... The screenplay , acting , and most of all the movies score songs are Great . Morricone is the Best .. When you watch a spaghetti western you really feel the OLD WEST..

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Classic Spaghetti Western
Review: I am a big fan of the Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns (or any of his westerns for that matter). It was nice to get all three in one collection. The intruge of "The Man With No Name". They are timeless classics.

Summary: Warning. No Surround Sound
Review: I am a great fan of these movies, but was disappointed that the DVDs don't have surround sound. Sound only comes out of my Sony system's center speaker. Thought I'd warn you in advance of your purchase...

Summary: Eastwood's best work
Review: I like clint eastwood's "American" western that came laters, but these 3 are the best. The easiest thing to make a successful western is story of revenge. this trio is not about revenge , its about comedy , fun, and real love for movies who comes from sergio leone.

Summary: Great movies, so-so DVDs
Review: I love the movies. What's a guy not to like about Clint Eastwood? The only reason this review is a three-star instead of a four-star or five-star review is that the DVDs are lacking in any substantial "extras." Would it be too much to ask of Eastwood to sit down and provide a commentary track? I realize the films are old enough to make coming up with "extras" difficult, but it seems as though no effort was made to make these movies special besides bundling them togheter and putting them in the same box.

If you're a big fan of the movies, the DVDs are worth owning. If you're just a casual fan, you're probably better off renting them or watching them when they enter TBS's "Movies For Guys Who Like Movies" line-up.

Summary: Great Movies, Great Visuals, Poor Sound
Review: I won't bore you with how great these movies are. The other reviewiers will do a better job than me. I was just so dissapointed that the sound has not been remastered to 5.1 surround. Even though it might say on the box the DVD comes in, the sound is not 5.1. At best you get two channel mono or center speaker mono. With the volume where you can hear the dialog, shrill notes from the music will nearly blow a speaker. You can turn the sound down, but then you must strain to hear the dialog. Watch these movies with the volume remote handy to adjust as necessary. Keep in mind a 5.1 remastered version of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly has been released but is not included in this box set.

Summary: A great Gift for the man in your life
Review: If you have a hint that your guy loves Clint Eastwood, then this is the perfect gift. I can assure you even the guy that has everything will be happy to see this gift rather than a tie or another shirt.
The combination of movies offered in this gift set is just right for the true ole Clint fans.
Highly recommended

Summary: My mule don't like people laughing!
Review: Man, this has to be one of the best DVD sets I have ever bought. I have been a fan of these films for years and now they are on DVD!

Fistful of Dollars - 4 stars. The widescreen version of this surprised me bigtime. I've only seen the pan and scan and used to think the films were low budget and sloppy. Not now, its like a totally different film, you can see 50% more of the movie, people running in the streets (which on pan and scan looked like the town was always deserted except for Clint and the badguys), everything. The film print looks fantastic, its so clear, other VHS and tv versions are very muddy and the color bleeds alot making people's faces look yellow, everything is in place here. Only problem I have with this movie is that it is a scene by scene remake of Yojimbo, there really isn't anything new here. Most scenes were shot in the exact angle with the same lines and action that was in Yojimbo, its like someone drew a cowboy hat on Toshiro Mifune and put a gun in his hand. This is still a great movie though the original is much better (lets forget about the horrible un-inspired 3rd remake Last Man Standing).

For a Few Dollars More-5 stars. Ok, the print has alot of dust floaters and scratches but this is the best print of the film I've ever seen. Nice big widescreen makes it a totally different movie too if like me, all you have ever seen was the pan and scan. Instead of this being a remake of Sanjuro (the sequel to Yojimbo)its a whole new story carrying on the legend of Sanjuro. Lee Van Cleef totally rocks in this movie.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly-5000 stars! This is probley one of the main reasons most people bought this set! This movie is awesome! Nice huge widescreen really helps with this one, it too looks like an entirely different film. The extra lost scenes are ok but I don't speak Italian, I wish they could have put them in with the entire movie but since a english track was not recorded for those scenes it will never be done. Unless they release a Italian subtitled version, wouldn't that be wierd watching a movie about the old west and everyone is speaking Italian?

If your a huge fan of these films and can recite every line from them there is no reason you should not own this.

And notice that the bottle from the scene where Clint is talking about "baxter's on this side, Roho's over here, and me right in the middle" and the bartender guy thumps the cork. Its the bottle with rope tied tightly around it, its in every Sergio Leone movie ever made.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great films (but a bit disappointing)
Review: No explanations needed about how good these films are... but it's disappointing that only "The Good the Bad and the Ugly" is a 16:9 enhanced disc.
