Summary: A gem for Disney lovers, fan or collector
Review: SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS is the signature Disney masterpiece, the beginning of a grand terdition of films from Disney. Perhaps it is such a gem because while this movie is watched again and again, there is always something more to discover, to enjoy, to know, to embrace about this film. So what is amazing to me--and probably to everyone else, too--is why it took so long for the stiduo to release it on video. This classic is truly enduring; the story about the sad, crully treated Snow White; how she fled from the Wicked Queen in order to stay alive; how she met the seven dwarfs and became their trusted friend; and how she found her prince and lived happily ever after. It all is so magical. You'll never forget it as long as you live.

Summary: A DISNEY MILESTONE.
Review: SNOW WHITE created a milestone in cinema history; people were mesmerized when they first saw the premier in 1937, as it was the first feature length cartoon and it was BRILLIANT! It took 750 artists to work and perfect an amazing 250,000 drawings to bring this fairy tale classic(by the Brothers Grimm)amazingly and astonishingly to life.Producers and other cynical Hollywood scoffers(and there were many)stood awestruck at the finished result. The film made a mint financially and won Disney a special Oscar in 1938 (it was presented to him by Shirley Temple) The voice of Snow White was eloquently provided by Adriana Caselotti ;the Evil Queen was vocalised by the great Lucille LaVerne. The film eventually cost one and a half million dollars which was an astronimical sum in the thirties. A film to cherish forever,it belongs on every child's video shelf!

Summary: Great, But Really Scary!
Review: This is the first animated feature film ever made, and with it, Walt Disney cemented his place as a revolutionary maker of films. As has been mentioned by most reviewers through the ages: great songs, great plot, good voice talents, and supurb (though not as good as several films to come) animation make this a classic, and a must see for all children. However, this movie is quite scary. We're dealing with heavy concepts here, like murder, black magic, and monster egos. The Queen's transformation scene into the old hag is quite vivid and frightful, and I couldn't sit through it until I was nine. If you have sensitive children, wait a few years, but otherwise, go out and buy it tonight!

Review: I have to admit that I was REALLY scared of this wovie. I actually had to leave the room ( since that was my first time watching it.) The witch ( whoever she was?) Was REALLY frightening. I was SOOOOOscared that I had to sleep with the covers over my head.

Summary: The first and greatest Disney animated feature.
Review: The first and greatest Disney animated feature. Only "Pinocchio" can rival this Disney classic. The story is interesting and the animation is brilliant.

Summary: This is the greatest achievement in animation ever!
Review: This is one of the most groundbreaking movies of all time! It's great not just because it was the first full-length animated feature, but because of how human the characters actually are. When Walt Disney was making this at the time, all of Hollywood was labeling it as "Disney's Folly". Well, here we are today, with all those companies who once thought it would fail starting to make their own animated movies. "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" will always remain a masterpiece because of it's whimsical animation, convincing characters, and being the first movie of its kind. This is definitely one movie that is worthwile to own.

Summary: Great movie for beauty experts
Review: Snow White's Step Mother sure had the power to transform to an ugly witch, Why not use her power to transform fairer than Snow White ? In present situation there are so many people who wants quick fix, Liposuction, Facelift, Botox etc.But with Snow White's Step Mother She wished for her death instead, that's her quick fix.
There's one classic Wile E. Coyote scenario also, When the Witch was being apprehended by the seven Dwarfs, The Witch is about to drop a huge boulder onto the seven dwarfs but she was strucked by a lightning and the boulder fell with her in a cliff.
What's the moral of the story? Don't ask a mirror who's fairer but ask an Expert Doctor who does miracle face transformation instead.

Summary: Walt Disney's Masterpiece
Review: "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is the movie 'that started it all', as they would tell you over and over. And being the huge sensation that it was, every animated film since has something derivated from it. The sappy hero/ione song, the impressively detailed animation, the memorable sidekicks (whether it's the dwarfs or the animals) - every subsequent Disney film ever since features some, if not all, of these elements. But of-course, it's nothing to whine about, since it's obviously a winning formula that still works, even if "Snow White", concept-wise, may look dated today to some. It's no wonder why this film was such a big deal back in 1937. Snow White is a pretty and lovable heroine; the dwarfs - great sidekicks, although I would have preferred less screen time for them; the wicked queen is probably one of the best Disney villains to grace the screen, she's strikingly beautiful yet can look so evil and ugly. The animation is top-notch. You really sense all the effort the animators put into it and the closing shot of Prince Charming's castle is breathtaking. The music in the film is magnificent, with such favorite tunes as "Someday My Prince Will Come" and "Heigh-Ho". "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" is regarded as one of the finest films ever made, and rightly so. With this brilliant DVD release, you can experience it like never before!
