Summary: Deceptive packaging
Review: The DVD package claims "Soundtrack Remastered in Dolby Digital 5.1",this is not true. A "Dolby Surround Stero" logo is also displayed on the package. What we get is "Dolby Digital 1" (MONO). Not remastered not stero not surround and clearly not 5.1 ....

Summary: Joan Crawford triumphs yet again!
Review: Joan Crawford yet again proved to all of who eyes enough to see that SHE was a great actress and Bette was...well... BETTE! Bette belongs to that certain class of actor who nearly always play themselves: Tracy, Hepburn to name two. Crawford acted from the inside, something Davis could never do. Crawford deserved to be nominated and to win. Davis deserved Madame Sin! (P.S. check out the 1931 film Possessed to see how Davis copied some of Joan's technique!)

Summary: "BUT 'CHA ARE, BLANCHE, BUT 'CHA ARE!"
Review: What a great old pot-boiler of a melodrama. Joan is great as the nicety-nicety terrorized Blanche, and Bette is FABULOUS as her sadistic sibling Jane, the original Twisted Sister. My favorite scenes: luncheon a-la parakeet and dinner a-la rat. And the final scene: Joan dying on the sand like a beached whale while Bette dances around her like a crazed Rockette! DELICIOUS!

Summary: Awesome movie!
Review: Joan Crawford and Bette Davis really shine in this magnificent horror/drama. Their performances made the film so great. They are my favorite actresses ever. Bette Davis should have one the oscar, and Joan Crawford should have been nominated. You will never see another film this good.

Summary: It depicts the DIVINE FEUD between Bette and Joan
Review: This movie totally depicts how Bette and Joan interact with each other in the real life. They hate each other guts, both of them are, or at least were, very popular. After watching the movie, also read BETTE AND JOAN: THE DIVINE FEUD. You'll see what I mean. And damn it Bette should've win the Oscar if it's not because of Joan.

Summary: Positively the best in dark comedy
Review: What a wonderful movie! It's supposed to be a horror flick, but the performances are so over the top that the whole thing's just downright fun. Also, it helps that Bette and Joan detested each other in real life. Oh, if only those two could make a sequel!!

Summary: All About Bette-Joan
Review: Bette Davis should have won her third Oscar as the demented but pathetic Baby Jane Hudson but lost out to no-talent Anne Bancroft for the Miracle Worker, which Bancroft had only performed nearly a thousand times on Broadway. Davis showed the world that she was the greatest of all film stars, playing every type of woman imaginable--something her so-called rivals--Hepburn, Rosaline Russell and the pathetic Jane Wyman-would never do. Baby Jane can also be seen as a textbook to aspiring acting students on how to galvanize the screen--but then there was only one Bette and there'll never be another. Best scene: Baby Jane, alone and drunk, imagining she has an audience but then sees her old, withered face in a mirror and freaks out.

Summary: wonderful movies
Review: "Brilliant and scary at the same time. I would say difficult but, the right word surely is impossible to choose the best performance: Bette or Joan. A must see movie. Great forever.

Summary: best performance ever by bette davis.
Review: two masters at work, bette davis and joan crawford. this film leaves no room for error and these pro's allow none!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: one of the best thrillers ever!
Review: this movie is excellent! joan crawford and bette davis are two of the greatest stars from hollywood's golden age, and this pairing of them couldn't have worked better. HUSH HUSH SWEET CHARLOTTE, is also good, but not as great and contrary to popular belief, its not a sequel, just the same fantastic screen legends.
