Summary: One of the Best Seasons!
Review: The Fifth Season is where the show really starts getting good. Many people have complained about Monica's change in character, but I really like it! I know that Ross gets whiny, but who actually liked Ross to begin with? The other characters are great as always! This season has some of the funniest episodes, like "The One Where Everybody Finds Out" and "The One With All the Resolutions" This season is just classic right up to the season finale cliffhanger, which makes you wish January 27 would come sooner.

Some have complained that the outtakes episode wasn't included with this season. It won't be on Season 6, either. It aired during Season 7 and I'm pretty sure that it will be included with that season. But season 5 is enough to hold you until January and then when season 7 comes out. This season rocks!

Summary: The one with the best episodes
Review: This is the best of the series I believe. The idea to make Chandler and Monica fall in love was the best decision that the producers and writers have made in awhile. The Rachel and Ross thing was great, but with Chandler and Monica the whole focuses changes. For the first time, the focus goes on another couple, another romance. The emphasis on Chandler's fear of commitment is most men in a nutshell.

The One Where Everybody Finds Out, is one of the top 5 episodes to date by the cast of Friends. "Ah AH Chandler and Monica, Chandler and Monica, My eyes my eyes." The entire charade is hilarious and the ending is great. With the cliff hanger of what ross will think of the whole story. It is a great edition to the Friends collection...

Summary: This year's best holiday gift
Review: Chemistry is something that either happens or doesn't. It can't be manufactured, nor can it be copied. The cast of "Friends" has that kind of chemistry. And the magic between these six actors has only grown stronger during the course of this last decade. Season five proves this.

In their audio commentary and in the "Behind the Scenes" documentary, the show creators reflect on the earlier years saying that perhaps they played out the Ross & Rachel love story too soon. But I, for one, disagree. The most interesting (and fun) part of the Ross & Rachel story has been the ongoing tension between them as they continue to forge their friendship in the shadow of their broken romance.

Besides, happy endings are boring.

For anyone who criticized "Friends" for being nothing more than a Ross & Rachel soap opera, they certainly were eating crow as the Monica & Chandler love story unfolded. Even the show's creators admitted that if it hadn't been for the rapport between Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry, that story never would have grown as it has. Kudos to the show's writers for paying attention to what was staring them right in the face!

While other series begin to lose steam by the fifth year, this one only gains momentum. And the farcical madness and touching finale of "The One Where Everybody Finds Out" is just one shining example.

This set is, by far, the best gift I've received this holiday season (with no disrespect meant to my friend Bill who gave me the Gideon thermometer - I like it, I really do!).

...I'm humming the show's theme song right now!!

Summary: Another great season
Review: Friends is a really great comedy! Just look at the proof! The show has been running a full decade now! The cast features Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courtney Cox (Monica Gellar), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matt Le Blanc (Joey Tribbiani), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), and David Scwhimmer (Ross Gellar), along with several guests every season. Each character is unique in their own way. Their lovable personalities, the pranks, the tricks, the adventures, the job searches, the weddings, the wishes, and many other events make it the greatest television show in history. If you aren't a "Friends" fan at the moment, you will be. This show has won several awards and definitely deserves them all.

Every episode is great. If the story isn't gripping enough of you, the humour certainly will be. Season five has twenty-three episodes full of laughter:

1: The One After Ross Says Rachel
2: The One With All the Kissing
3. The One Hundredth
4: The One Where Phoebe Hates PBS
5: The One With The Kips
6: The One With The Yeti
7: The One Where Ross Moves In
8: The One With The Thanksgiving Flashbacks
9: The One With Ross's Sandwich
10: The One With The Inappropriate Sister
11: The One With All The Resolutions
12: The One With Chandler's Work Laugh
13: The One With Joey's Bag
14: The One Where Everybody Finds Out
15: The One With The Girl Who Hits Joey
16: The One With The Cop
17: The One With Rachel's Inadvertent Kiss
18: The One Where Rachel Smokes
19: The One Where Ross Can't Flirt
20: The One With The Ride Along
21: The One With The Ball
22: The One With Joey's Big Break
23: The One in Vegas, Part 1
23: The One in Vegas, Part 2

The DVDs are well worth buying because it's clear how user-friendly they are from the get-go. Unlike DVDs for other TV shows, "Friends" comes in a nice package, has nice extra features, and lets you jump right into watching without lots of start-up selection menus.

Summary: My BEST Friends
Review: I am a HUGE die-hard Friends fan (Read: really, I like it waaay too much). The fifth season is incredible - from the very first line where Ross says Rachel's name at the altar, to the very end, where a drunk Ross and Rachel stumble out of a Las Vegas wedding chapel. And although that might sound to you like a two-person cast (Ross, Rachel) don't get me wrong: Monica and Chandler offer probably the greatest running gags all season as they struggle, and eventually fail, to keep their relationship a secret. Phoebe has triplets, and in one of the most touching moments ever on television, gives them up to her brother and his wife. Joey - well, he's just Joey. From discovering his identical hand twin, to (almost) getting his big break, to carrying around a purse, to getting hit by a girl, Joey has his work cut out for him this season. Overall, this is one of FRIEND's greatest seasons - there's even an episode where Monica, Ross and Joey try to see how long they can throw a ball without stopping. I say: Only on Friends. Now, especially, as Friends is (sob) wrapping up their final season (oh no, i'm starting to cry), if you aren't up to date on Ross and Rachel's love rollercoaster, Monica and Chandler's quest for a baby, and Phoebe and Joey... well, just being themselves... buy the DVDs and get yourself caught up. Don't worry, you'll thank me later.

Chandler: Pheebs? Flying a jet? Better make it a spaceship so that you can get back to your home planet! And Ross, phone call for you today, Tom Jones, he wants his pants back! And Hornswoggle? What are you dating a character from Fraggile Rock?!

Summary: The BEST season, hands down!!
Review: Ok, all the seasons are pretty good, with a lot of hit and miss shows...but this season was the best ever. Every show is hilarious. This is the best way to spend a rainy weekend.

Summary: Friends' Peak
Review: Probably, the greatest Friends' season. The first episodes, just when they get back from England, are Gloriously Hilarious. Chandler and Monica hiding their relationship from the rest is truly one of the best moments in all the friends series.

Also, there aren't any excerpts from other seasons, which is great too. There is one new "flashback" which is OK too.

I've read that watching "Friends" helps reducing stress. I Agree!! This series and especially this season is amazing.

Get it... with the rest....
