Rating: Summary: Please let there be another one! Review: This DVD has provided my husband and me with 22 wonderful evenings. I agree with all the reviewers - this was the best-acted television program ever. The entire cast is amazing and the story feels so real that we laugh and cry as though we knew these people. I SO hope the next season will appear on DVD also.
Rating: Summary: Great show with all the elements! Review: I didn't actually start watching the show until the middle of the second season. I fell in love with it. I purchased the first season and i've got one more episode to go. Now i'm waiting on the second season. I wish this show was still on! It's definitely worth the purchase! You won't want to stop watching it. The characters are amazing! My boyfriend even loves the show.
Rating: Summary: ONE SEASON IS NOT ENOUGH!!! Review: LOVE IT! Hoping the rest of the seasons will be available on DVD soon. Highly recommend this series! Soooo disappointed this show went off the air. What a shame.
Rating: Summary: All Emotions came out watching these Review: I have been a avid fan of this show since it first came unfortunately I wasn't able to catch all of seasons 2 and 3 because of the constant time changes. I love this show every episode is so great it truly does show what could happen if you become a part of a blended family(I am a part of one). I also enjoy watching these people on screen get used to each other and to see how they learn and grow from one another. I was really disappointed when I heard it got canceled sadly another show leaving too soon(like Farscape is now).Great writing, acting, everything! Alot like life for a fictional show. Give this show a chance and please bring the other seasons out I am ready for season 2 and 3 now.
Rating: Summary: Once and Again...close to my heart. Release all seasons! Review: Words can't really describe how this show became part of me...it never ceased to amaze me, the ability of this talented crew to so consistently hit the nail on the head, no matter the topic. At first glance it may seem a twentysomething singleton may not have much to identify with this series, but in my opinion, one episode is all it takes to find your own experiences reflected in one or more of the characters. I was ever in awe at the head-noddingly been-there-done-that feeling, sometimes bringing laughter, sometimes tears of recognition. Sometimes by the end of an episode my jaw simply dropped at how closely the characters' emotional struggles mirrored my own. I would often ring my sister after an episode and end up describing the entire thing to her, unable to contain myself. Standing ovation for the writers, the actors, and direction that so powerfully related Once and Again to me. If only, if only they could have continued. :( It hurts me to think that this show had to end. Call me sappy, but I feel like a little part of me is still mourning. Please, oh please, release the 2nd and 3rd seasons! I'll gladly produce handfuls of cash for the complete collection of such an amazing series.
Rating: Summary: P L E A S E ! Review: Once and again is the best TV show ever and the release of this DVD has made me soooo happy! Please, DO release season 2 and 3 as well!!
Rating: Summary: Once and Again-Love Blooms between Lilly and Rock Review: This show is completly heart stirring. I have never been so completely in love with a show and Billy Cambell melts every bone in my body. If I'm having a harsh day I put on a pair of worn and comfy sweat pants and curl up infront of my tv to follow Lilly and Rick as they fall deeper and deeper in love. No matter that there maybe piles of snow outside and cold wind, inside my heart I feel a warmth as I watch this lovely couple express their love towards eachother in such a touching way. My husband may yell for his dinner and drink, my kids may be begging for the latest fashion clothes, but I'm in the TV, absorbed by a show about love, a world of fantasy and beauty.
Rating: Summary: A show about real people - not TV people Review: This stellar show is among the best TV ever offered. Oddly, it has no extravagant plots or earthshaking storylines. It's not a soap. Rather, a sort of chronicle about people. And these characters... they're not tainted by ideology or advocacy. This show neither buys into nor opposes politically correct perceptions of relationships or divorce. Instead it allows us to live through the emotions and difficulties of characters coping with post-divorce lives. The presentation of sex is neither prurient nor judgemental. I have never seen a film that depicts the obsessive quality of mutual desire in a budding relationship so faithfully. "Once and Again" deserves the highest praise.
Rating: Summary: Consistently Solid Review: Many shows waiver from great to awful and back again during their run, but "Once and Again" is consistently solid. The stellar writing, cast, and editing make it a show that is not to be missed. The romantic and the cynic alike can mind common ground in this heartfelt series. I'm delighted to get to relive the best moments from Season One over and over again. Now let's just hope that the producers hear our shouts of joy and Season Two and Three will quickly follow!
Rating: Summary: Better than good Review: When my mother buy me as Christmas gift this collection I was only remember just a few episodes of the final season. But after watch five episodes i cannot wait to see all the seasons cos this was a big surprise. i knew Edward Zwick is a great director but I never thought how good writer and producer is. Anything in this show is perfect from the script to the work of the actors making one of the most entertaining and deep TV shows I ever see in my life.
