Rating: Summary: Definitely one of the best! Review: Friends - The Complete Fourth Season is one of Friends' best and most memorable seasons. With happenings like Chandler spending Thanksgiving in a box, Phoebe becoming a surrogate mother for her half-brother, Ross getting married and saying Rachel's name instead of Emily's and of course, Monica and Chandler hooking up, the fourth season of Friends contains some of the show's best moments, which makes it a must have for any Friends fan.1. "The One With the Jellyfish"- In Montauk, Ross dumps bald Bonnie after kissing Rachel, who gave him an 18-page letter that he fell asleep reading. Chandler pees on Monica's jellyfish sting. 2. "The One With the Cat"- Phoebe finds a stray cat and she thinks that it's the reincarnation of her mother. Joey gets locked in his entertainment center that he is trying to sell, while the potential buyer robs the apartment. 3. "The One With the Cuffs"- Chandler and Joey furnish their looted apartment with a canoe and some patio furniture. Rachel's boss, Joanna, who is seeing Chandler, leaves him pantless and handcuffed in her office. 4. "The One With the Ballroom Dancing"- Treeger, the building's superintendent, threatens to evict the girls unless Joey can teach him to dance. 5. "The One With Joey's New Girlfriend"- Ross and Rachel attempt to make each other jealous with their new significant others. It turns out that Ross's new squeeze just wants him as a babysitter and Rachel's beau is an immature thief. Phoebe discovers her sexy phlegm voice while she has a cold. 6. "The One With the Dirty Girl"- Ross dates Cheryl (Rebecca Romijn-Stamos), a paleontology doctoral candidate, who happens to be very sloppy. Chandler buys Kathy a copy of "The Velveteen Rabbit" as a birthday gift. 7. "The One Where Chandler Crosses the Line"- Kathy becomes aware of Chandler's feelings for her and lets him know that she feels the same way by making out with him. 8. "The One With Chandler in a Box"- It's Thanksgiving and as a punishment for Chandler for kissing Kathy, Joey makes him stay in a box. Monica injures her eye, goes to the ophthalmologist and the doctor turns out to be Richard's son. 9. "The One Where They Are Going to Party"- Monica's scathing review of a local restaurant gets her hired as a chef. Mike "Gandalf" Ganderson ("only, like, the funniest guy in the world" according to Ross) is coming to town. Joanna is killed by a cab. 10. "The One With the Girl From Poughkeepsie"- Monica is sick and tired of the staff at the restaurant treating her so badly, so she decides to hire Joey just to fire him in front of the crew to show them how tough she can be. 11. "The One With Phoebe's Uterus"- Frank Jr. and Alice ask Phoebe if she'll be a surrogate mother for them. Ross gets Joey a job as a tour guide for the museum. 12. "The One With the Embryos"- It is Rachel and Monica vs. Chandler and Joey in a game to find out who knows who the best ("He's a transponster!"). If the girls win, the guys have to get rid of their chick and duck. But if the guys win, they get the big, purple apartment. Phoebe undergoes implantation of Alice's embryos and later finds out that she is pregnant. 13. "The One With Rachel's Crush"- Kathy's sexy appearance in a play has got Chandler worried about her faithfulness. Rachel tries desperately and clumsily to get the attention of Joshua, a newly divorced client. 14. "The One With Joey's Dirty Day"- Rachel asks Ross to take out Mr. Waltham's niece from England, Emily. Monica and Phoebe try to help Chandler get over his breakup with Kathy by taking him to a strip club. Charlton Heston guest stars. 15. "The One With All the Rugby"- Trying to impress Emily's rugby playing friends, Ross takes up the sport. 16. "The One With the Fake Party"- When pregnant vegetarian Phoebe is tortured by her cravings for meat, Joey offers to trade dietary preferences with her. Rachel is determined to invite Joshua to an unplanned bon voyage party for Emily. 17. "The One With the Free Porn"- Joey and Chandler come upon an unscrambled porn channel and decide not to turn off the TV, in case that would make them lose it. Phoebe finds out that she's having triplets. 18. "The One With Rachel's New Dress"- Ross gets nervous when Emily hits it off with Susan (his ex-wife's lesbian lover). 19. "The One With All the Haste"- Rachel is irked by the singing neighbor across the alley and the battle to re-swap the apartments is on. Ross asks Emily to marry him. 20. "The One With All the Wedding Dresses"- Rachel blurts out an impromptu proposal to Joshua, which scares him off. Monica and Phoebe hang out in wedding dresses. 21. "The One With All the Invitations"- Writing out invitations to his wedding causes Ross to have flashbacks about his relationship with Rachel. 22. "The One With the Worst Best Man Ever"- Phoebe's horrible mood swings have Rachel and Monica walking on eggshells. Joey doesn't know what happened to Emily's missing wedding ring. 23. "The One With Ross's Wedding"- The gang, sans a pregnant Phoebe and a heartbroken Rachel, head to England for Ross and Emily's wedding. But Rachel decides to fly to London herself and tell Ross that she loves him. She ends up losing her nerve to tell him when she gets there, but, of course, he ends up saying her name during the ceremony.
Rating: Summary: Simply Great Review: From a young persons point of view. The show Friends is pefect! Season 4 is jam-packed full of hilarious episodes that you can watch over and over making you roll over and over laughing. So super funny! Jennifer Aniston is truly amazing in this season. 'Rachel' has a funny relationship with a man she met at work (Joshua). All the cast members of the show seem to have improved since the third season greatly, either that or the episodes written were much more interesting. If there is an opposite to mind-numbing...that would be the Season 4 DVD of Friends! Totally Awesome.

Rating: Summary: The wonderful fake lives everyone wants to live. Review: I always find these series funny. People watch these as a way to escape their own "horrible" reality. They want their lives to be so good, just like tv. I just laugh at people who want to live lives like this, other examples would be Dawson's Creek, and other similiar type shows. But remember nobody lives lives like these fictional people do, and if you don't enjoy your own life change it, unless you are unwilling, a sheep that isn't in control of their own life. I would prefer to run or read a book, over watching these tv shows.
Rating: Summary: The Best Yet Review: I am a huge Friends fan. These boxed sets are a Friends addict's dream come true. This season is one of the best. Like the editorial review said this season is one of the most consistent and funny. (But Joey is the one who helps Monica relieve the pain from the jellyfish sting). If you are a fan or even if you aren't, check out this set as well as the other three available.
Rating: Summary: I LOVE FRIENDS! Review: I don't have a favorite season... that would be like picking a favorite gormet chocolate... they are all SO GOOD! Season 4 is a lot of fun, like usual. Many major improtant story twists happen in this season that mold the characters to what we see today. It is definitely a must have!
Rating: Summary: Full of fun and extras Review: I have always been partial to Season 4 because it is a time in the history of "Friends" that holds both the solidification of the essence of each character as well as new and original story lines. The DVD also includes several extras, such as: a short documentary of how "Friends" is watched and reworked in other countries (narrated by James Michael Tyler (Gunther)), clippings of Season 4's guest appearances, a trivia game based on the trivia game created by Ross to determine whether Chandler and Joey knew Rachel and Monica better, or vice versa - the trivia game even includes a lightning round, should there be a tie. The DVD is an excellent addition to a collection of Friends' seasons or even as a stand-alone.
Rating: Summary: Things get really interesting when "Friends" goes to London Review: I have not been enamored of television situation comedies in recent years, which would explain why I never watched "Friends" until I caught the cliffhanger at the end of the fourth season when Ross says Rachel's name instead of Emily's during his wedding in London. Then it was a question of getting caught up with the reruns and syndicated episodes to understand why this was not only funny but apparently a scene of some pathos. In looking back at "Friends: The Complete Fourth Season" in the grand scheme of things, it seems clear that the reason this was the best season of "Friends" to that point was not just because all six of the cast members have their characters done but because the bottom was so high. There is nothing as grand in this season as the endings of "The One with the Prom Video" or "The One with the Proposal," but the only really bad average in the bunch is "The One with the Worst Best Man Ever," which combines Phoebe's pregnant mood swings with Joey's idea of the ideal bachelor's party (watching most of the cast fly to Europe would have been more fun). Once again, Ross and Rachel provide the season defining story arc, which begins with the ramifications of their being "on a break" and ends with Ross about to marry another woman. However, in retrospect what stands out equally as much is how we begin with Chandler having to pee on Monica's jellyfish sting and ends with their jumping into bed together on the eve of the big wedding in London. Lisa Kudrow's pregnancy forced the show to come up with the idea of Phoebe serving as a surrogate mother for her brother and his wife, which carries over to the next year, while the success the previous system with having Joey move out of the apartment spawns another roommate conflict when Chandler actually takes Kathy away from Joey. Actually, the four episodes dealing with the Joey-Kathy-Chandler triangle are probably my favorites from season four. Best episodes from the fourth season: "The One with the Jellyfish," just to watch Monica, Chandler and Joey confessing what happened on the beach; "The One with the Cat" because it has Joey locked in an entertainment center; "The One with the Cuffs" because it has Chandler in cuffs but without pants; "The One With Chandler in a Box" because it has Chandler in a box (notice a theme here?); "The One with the Emryos" just for the final question in Ross' high-stake trivia contest that stumps Rachel and Monica; and "The One with Ross's Wedding Part 1 & 2," not just for the cliffhanger but for the hired English cast highlighted by Fergie and Tom Conti. You may or may not be impressed by the ability of the show to milk out more twists and turns from the Ross and Rachel traveling show, but the ability to take the gag about Chandler and Monica jumping into bed together and have that romance supplant the other one during the next two seasons is certainly impressive.
Rating: Summary: Great DVDs Review: I liked this season. I glad that brought this season. Acually I have all the season but season 1 and I will keep on buying all the season.
Rating: Summary: By far the best of the first 4 seasons! Review: I love this season because it introduces the wonderful relationship of Monica and Chandler. It shows how much Ross and Rachel really love each other, especially in the last episode when Ross says Rachel's name instead of Emily's. It introduces a new kind of twist to the show that had never been done to one of the three girls before, a pregnancy. Seeing Phoebe pregnant was always a highlight. I loved how the relationship went from friendship to lovers in one night for Monica and Chandler. This season was awesome and I can't wait for the next seasons to come out!
