Summary: Funniest Show Ever
Review: I love Family Guy. Plain and simple. I am a culture buff, and Family Guy scratches an itch that no other show has ever come close to scratching. It is chalk friggin full of references to culture icons all through out history, but mainly the 70's and 80's. Seth McFarlane and everyone involved with Family Guy are geniuses. Go out and buy at least three copies. I two copies of the first volume because I ruined one of the DVDs from watching it with my friends to much. There is a rumor that Cartoon Network will pick up a new season. I have seen "When You Wish Upon A Weinstein" and it is a great episode. BUY THIS!

Summary: Family Guy is the Best Animated Show To Date
Review: Dear Person,
If you love Humor that's crazy and sometimes just a tad bit of "What the Heck?" Then you'll love the Family Guy. These DVD's are packed with Humor. The kind of humor from Movie's like Naked Gun, Hot Shots, Scary Movie, Etc... Just plain Silly Stuff. Laughs go on and on. Watch with your friends and see the happy tears pour out. I personally own season 1&2 and my friends are also speading the word. Season 3 is a must. Family Guy has more Humor and less story than the Simpsons... I believe it's entertainment so who cares about a serious story right?
Each character has humor to fit someone who watches.
So sit back with your munchies while Family Guy sends you on a Funny Trip !!!!

Summary: An Okay Set - But 5 Stars? Gimmee A Break!!!
Review: Okay, Family Guy is a pretty funny show. A few episodes are downright hillarious, but for the most part this series was really a let down. When I found out it would be cancelled, it really didn't matter to me one way or the other.

Many people compare this show to "The Simpsons." Well, while both shows are about dysfunctional animated families, both on FOX, I suppose this is inevitable. Well, "The Simpsons," getting ready for its 15th season, is the best television show of all time, no contest. It is smart, likable, subversive, and most importantly, hillarious. While, yes, later seasons aren't as great, it's a classic show.

The Family Guy on the other hand, couldn't manage to survive longer than three years. While there were a handful of funny moments in these three years, there's just not enough to justify paying money for this set.

I'm also tired of people talking about how much more risky and adult "The Family Guy" is compared to "The Simpsons." The Simpson family debuted in 1989, of course it will seem tame by today's standards, but back then, it was scandalous. "Family Guy" only seems so edgy in comparison because it was born in a different time. So what is the need for this comparison?

Basically, "Family Guy" is not a Simpson clone at all, they are two very different shows . . . However, I think "The Simpsons" is a million times funnier, the charactors are more likable, and it's smarter. Pick up season 3 from the first family of Springfield instead.

Summary: animation nirvana
Review: The Family Guy was the perfect mix of intellectual pop culture fun coupled with in-your-face inane humor that you rarely see from television. Its cutting edge style made you laugh uproariously at everyones human foibles while recognizing and sympathizing with their struggles. I wish we had more shows with the depth and wit it displayed. It is the only tv series that had me searching the listings to keep abreast of its ever changing schedule and signing internet petitions to keep it alive. Kudos to Adult Swim on Cartoon Network for having the guts to air this gem. I currently own volume 1 (seasons 1 & 2) and have been on the wait list for volume 2 since April. I love the boxed set and eagerly await the next one. If you like animation or just a good laugh I suggest you get them too.

Summary: FAMILY GUY Season 3 DVD !
Review: Family Guy is the best show ever period. Nothing out does it or is funnier...nothing... yes thats right even Seinfeld is not as funny as Family Guy. That is all the explanation that is needed. The only people who can watch it are people who truely appreciate the show and its total essence.

Summary: Good imitation of the Simpsons.
Review: I'm a Simpson fan who will write a review because it will anger the guy from "America Jr."

I like the family guy alot but come on dude. It's alot like the Simpsons. It's more like the Simpsons than Married with children! For instance, Dumb slow witted husband, nagging wife, intelegent daughter.... Does it sound familiar? the only thing that married with children has in common with the family guy is the dog.

And what is the "Victory is ours" stuff. How long was family guy on?....3 years. The Simpsons are STILL AIRRING new episodes. You call that a victory, not only that they made Fox a legitimate network. So stop being soo jealous of the Simpsons fame, cause they derserve it!

Summary: I just hope we wont have ignorant Simpsons fans again!!!
Review: If you're a Simpsons fan, and want to write a review like "Famely Guy copied/cloned Simpsons" Read this :

It did not! As I have explained in Vol 1, If you think that Famely Guy copied the Simpsons, well then, admit Simpsons copied Married with Childrens !!! (or at least tried since they where un-successful in the adult theme). Simpsons never had cutting edge theme like Married with Childrens and Famely Guy has.(Who remember Bud Bundy as Grand Master B) lol

The Simpson where always tone down, and that why kids like it and they got so popular, and it's was aimed at kids with Bart at first, but they soon realized their mistake, and pulled Homer as main character after a few years, then they became even more popular, pleasing to kids and adults. Famely Guy is aimed at adult right off the bat like Married with Childrens was, with mature theme, witch sadly cause downfall since Adult don't have all that much time with T.V. Some of us are busy working, and it takes years to realize there is a good show on T.V.

So if someone copied someone else, it's Famely Guy who copied Maried with Childrens, and even that, I wont believe it! They just keep pushing the envelope further, like any good show is supposed to do.

Victory is ours !!!

Summary: I love all the Family Guy episodes
Review: Family Guy was one of the funniest and most original series I've ever seen. Just like the first, all of these episodes are hilarious and filled with funny jokes, references, and flashbacks. If you have a sense of humor, I beg you, please buy this!

Summary: Family Guy rules
Review: I am like the biggest Family Guy fan ever! Fox should not have canceled this show. This show is the only show better than the Simpsons, and i wish that since Cartoon Network now syndicates the show, they should air a new one every Friday. Four and a half stars? I think not. This dvd deserves at least ten and I couldn't give it more than five because of Amazon, however, I give it personally 100.
