Summary: AWESOME!?!
Review: The acting was great it was a very good idea, that has not been overused and I was most definately suprised with the plot twists. Point blank one of the best starts to a series in about twenty years.

Summary: Leading Up To Tragedy
Review: I made sure I never missed an episode. I loved this show immensely. The final episode was almost over and I was fairly happy wit how things were closing...until, the wife dies. This woldn't have upset me nearly as much if the whole point of this show wasn't Keifer Sutherland and his mission to stop the bad guys and reunite his family.

Summary: Get this! Get this! Get this!
Review: Hope of hopes, if this disk sells well, and if enough people watch it in time, the second season this fall will take off with an even bigger audience. This show deserves all of the praise it gets. Initially a draw due to it's unique premise of showing and entire day in real time (ala High Noon), the plot of 24 proved to be gripping. Each episode revealed new layers and twists about each character. Concerning the assasination attempt on a Presidential Candidate's life, and the multiple intrigues surrounding it, '24' delivers non-stop suspense. Also, hopefully Kiefer Sutherland will be recognized for his moving performance through the whole season. His character, Jack Bauer, goes through quite a lot in just one day. Watch it!

Summary: 24: The Best Show On Television!
Review: 24 is the story of Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland), a man that works for a unit called CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit), during the day in which he thinks is the longest day of his life. It all revolves around the kidnapping of his daughter, and while he tries to get her back, gets deeper into the plot of an organized group to kill Senator David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) at any cost. All of this is shot in real-time, and goes second by second as you would view it if you were actually there. The concept and story may sound simple on paper, but what you get is an awesome show that grabs you and never lets go, no matter how hard you try to get loose.

I watched every single hour of the show, and it never got old. If you're one of the people that thinks that going second by second would get boring, your in for a tasty surprise. Every shot is filled with excitement and great dialogue, the way TV should be. And even though it might not get the ratings of CSI or Friends, I think no one should pass up the oppurtunity to watch this television show because it's a refreshing getaway from all of the other new shows on television (except for Undeclared and Scrubs) that feel rushed just to fill time slots of shows that have failed before them.

I hope that this DVD is at least half as great as the show is. Hopefully, FOX will include commentary and documentaries as we have seen on the Simpsons and Buffy box sets. But what I really hope they'll do is re-edit each hour, filling in the space that commercials were in when it aired on TV, and also including the other two endings that they shot for the final episode. FOX, if you are listening, please include these features! When this DVD comes out on September 17th, I'll be among the first to get it and i'm going to have a 24 marathon on September 18th (from midnight to midnight)! If you haven't seen an episode of this show, I suggest you get a taste of it when the new season starts on FOX in November.
