Summary: Star Trek - Voyager
Review: Voyager is absolutely the best of the Trek series. The themes are fascinating, particularly Janeway's existential struggle with whether to follow the ethics of the Federation in spite of being so far from the alpha quadrant and any Federation authority. Very "Lord of the Flies". The characters are well thought-out and performed. Janeway and 7 of 9 are especially interesting. The series also managed to maintain its integrity and quality through its entire six seasons. Come on Paramount - give us what we need!

Summary: Just give it a chance
Review: Like alot of die hard TNG fans, I didnt start out as a voyager fan, in fact, I didnt even start watching it till after the series was practically over. I say nothing beats the original (catch it on sci fi) and the next generation (watch it on TNN) I played that elite force game though and thought it was fun, so I gave the series a chance, and it turns out that its really pretty good. Janeway is no Picard by far, but the stories keep you interested and the visuals satify your trekkie needs. When this comes out on DVD, I say buy it, you gotta complete your collection, and I'l say this...you wasted money on the deep space nine collection (worst star trek series in history in my opinion, even worf couldnt save it) pick this up too, you might just be suprised....

Summary: Star Trek Voyager The Best
Review: I cant wait until Voyager comes out on DVD last I heard was that the Voyager DVD's were coming out in 2004 thats a long wait but I think is worth it because Star Trek Voyager is the only one that interested me. It was the first Star Trek Show that I got hooked on and now I like DS9 and Enterprise I watch both as much as I can but I think im only going to buy the voyager DVD series because Voyager is the best.

Summary: Star Trek Voyager: The Best Series Yet!
Review: I've been a fan of Star Trek since I was born. The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine are both excellent series, but Voyager is the best yet. It has the special effects, an awesome story line, and great acting. I've seen every episode and I still watch the reruns. They're just that good. I would highly recommend the purchase of Star Trek Voyager DVD's!

Summary: Theres' no place like (a Voyager) home..
Review: To be up front.. I did not like Janeway in the initial episodes, as she was brash. But as time passed she melowed so much that she treated and loved her crew like a mother hen. And I began to like her too, so much so that I was very upset that network TV stopped airing reruns 5 nights per week. I feel Voyager is the best Star Trek yet and would love to see a Voyager movie and I would not hesitate to pay full price for all DVD episodes. Voyager is the first feel good Star Trek series that no home should be without.

Summary: Voyager Rules Star Trek
Review: I've seen every variety of Star Trek that has existed and none of them top Voyager. TNG was great for it's time (sometimes the sets or special effects seemed like a high school play), but every episode of Voyager is sure to please, the special effects in every episode are excellent; everything is like a major motion picture. I cannot wait for each season to come out on DVD. Why they put Deep Space Nine out already is beyond me, while it's good, it doesn't even compare to Voyager!

Summary: Star Trek Voyager & Janeway - my favorite
Review: Star Trek Voyager is my favorite series ever. I never cared for Star Trek, in general. I, did however, become an avid fan once I saw Voyager & Captain Janeway. She fascinated me with not only her ability to command Voyager but her display of compassion and vulnerability. I thought she was a wonderful actress. I still tape the reruns nightly & am patiently waiting to see if a DVD is released.

Summary: The most amazing Star Trek series there is
Review: Oh My God! I fell in love with Voyager the first time i saw it. I was kinda a Star Trek fan, I watched TNG quite often.. but Voyager is what got me hooked onto Trek. I have never seen a TV series with such a good story and such great episodes. Captain Janeway in my opinion is the best Captain ever! It was a great idea to have a female captain for this series. The special effects are amazing.. especially in the later seasons when the Astrometrics lab was created. All the people i know who hated star trek became die hard fans after watching a single episode of Voyager. I myself watched the series 4 times over and I still watch it, without getting bored! The depth of the characters and the level of values and morality is what I liked most about this series. It was really disappointing that Paramount didnt make a Voyager movie. I dont know about the rest of you but I think TNG got more than it deserved.. Instead of ultra-crappy cliched movies like Insurrection and Nemesis, a Voyager movie would have been amazing. I just hope Paramount doesnt leave out Voyager once more.. I'm praying that Voyager DVDs come out...

Summary: What Separates Voyager from all the others.........
Review: I never really became a Star Trek fan until 1996 when I saw Star Trek First Contact. That movie got me interested in the whole genre.(I had seen Generations two years earlier but wasn't impressed) But my Dad and I started watching a show on UPN that was just added in our area, Star Trek Voyager. I was hooked after the first episode I saw. It captivated me to see this group of characters who in the face of imminent danger around every corner still interacting with great sincerity and humor. There are 6 main components to a great show: compelling characters, exceptional storytelling, excellent premise, sensational actors, great special attractions (special effects, makeup, guest actors, etc.), and keeps within a certain realm of reality. Voyager had it all.

Voyager is in a league of its own in the Star Trek universe. It is the pinnacle for which every new series should strive towards. Unlike the Original Series, the Special attractions are great 24/7 and the stories were always top of the line. Unlike TNG, the characters seem to enjoy each others company and have a better sense of humor, and the show doesn't have a weak character, let alone 2 or 3 like Beverly, Wesley, or Deanna. Unlike DS9, Voyager encountered different situations at DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, didn't solely depend on a veteran character to resurrect the show, didn't need 18 guest cast members to keep the ratings up, didn't force us to stomach Jake and Ben Sisko's whining and complaining, and didn't venture into stupid stuff like the Prophets (enough already!).

Voyager has some of the greatest characters ever combined in a single show. Take Kathryn Janeway. She wasn't expecting to be sent across the galaxy or to be involved in a situation that called for a search for another way home. Did she moan and cry about it? Hell no. She kept her composure throughout the journey home, stayed determined to get her crew back home to their families, was selfless on several occassions when it called for her to take a stand, and stayed true to Starfleet regulations even though they were 70,000 light years away from home. She may be one of the best characters ever in the genre. But the same could be said for Seven of Nine. Her quest to become human after her 18 year stint as a Borg is so powerful. She encounters a lot of setbacks and advances in her quest that is endearing. She inside is very emotional, very unsure of herself. But she lets herself be seen as this uncaring individual in the majority of the crew's eyes. Janeway and Seven have a mother-daughter relationship that is very interesting to watch. The two encounter a roller-coaster relationship at first but it becomes evident that Janeway would do anything for Seven, short of compromising Starfleet regulations.

I only have scratched the surface as far as Voyager goes. Voyager has so many interesting characters and storylines that make this show click. It's sad that this show may go down as the most underrated Star Trek show. But, in my mind, Voyager is the Best Star Trek show ever.
